BUPA_SAVE_CONTROL

Hi,
I am required to cross check the value in field 'searchterm' against some ztable when the save button is pressed after entering details for a contact.
For this i have been looking for a badi.
Will BUPA_SAVE_CONTROL Badi serve my purpose?If yes then how do i get the value of searchterm?which FM should i use?

Hi Shilpi,
I think the BADI "BUPA_SAVE_CONTROL" will not solve the purpose .
What i suggest is u can validate the serachterm with ur ztable in the EH_ONSAVE method , where u will get the searchterm value in the context node .

BADI Implimentation

I have a below requirement.
When a Sales Role is removed for a employee a back ground job should be scheduled with the below mentioned logic.
System should search for all the account in which the selected employee is having the relationship called as "Primary Owner". Then all the accounts will be transferred to the manager which was assigned to the employee as relationship "Reports to" and the sales role will be removed from the employee master. If there are no accounts assigned to this sales person only sales role of the Sales Person will be removed from the Employee Master and the sales person is removed from the sales hierarchy.
I want to fetch the value for a field in UI in runtime, so for that what should I do ?
and I am using BADI, BUPA_SAVE_CONTROL as the logic is to be implimented after clicking the SAVE button in EDIT mode,but this BADI does not have any signature,
Can anyone give some pointers on this ?

Any BADI or Exit for Tcode CAA1?

Hi,
I would like to know is there any exit or BADI for transaction - CAA1 ?
I need to check whether contract Account category and Business partner type are matching (from custom table) when we create contract account in CAA1 transaction.
Please let me know if any one has idea..
I tried using SMOD and some other procedure.. but I could not find any exit for this transaction.
