Bursting engine fails with NullPointerException in xdo.log file

Hi all,
Hi have developed a BI Publisher report but when trying to deliver it using the bursting concurrent program it fails wirh next error:
Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel:null . Please check the Log for error details..
If I look at the xdo.log file I can see next error:

I don´t know what to do, SMTP server parameters are rigth, bursting control file is also OK, original report with XML output ends OK with a pdf output.

we got the update and this has been resolved as we have installed weblogic 10.

EAL extract fails with ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel error

We are trying to run an EAL (v11.1.1.4) extract from an HFM (v9.3.1.4) environment onto Oracle database. We are able to run the extract successfully for few hundred records, but when the records exceeds 10 million we get the error below

We checked on the DB and the Oracle session that was doing the insert was open even after the extract failed with the above error.
Any idea what could be causing this??

I am using the scheduler to take backup of the dev database and it was working fine. Then I added notification to the scripts and then the scheduler started failing with the following code .

The user oracle who owns the scheduler already has permissions for the mailx and the same script is able to send notifications when run manully. Do I need to set additional permissions for scheduler ?
Also the db version is 10.2.0.5.

i am new with DBMS_SCHEDULER and my need is to create a job, without program and schedule, that i can call in an Apex app.
This job run a window *.bat* file via cmd.exe
I test the .bat with doubleclick and it work.
I test window run with the string c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe/c C:/mycompletepath/myfilename.bat > nul and it work.
I execute the following execute DBMS_SCHEDULER.create_job (
               job_name=>'EIM_JOB',
               job_type=>'EXECUTABLE',
               job_action=>'c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe',

Hi Avi,
I have the same issue, but I did not configure a xenbridge, and I did remove the default bond configuration the installation does.
Can I only discover 3.0.1 servers if they have the bond configuration? Is there a way to get around this?

To your question to clear the track
You can delete your track as described in the below link, and then recreate the track and reimport.

I have a RDF which calls a bursting program in After report trigger, the problem i'm facing is that the bursting program is completing successfully for a set of parameters and when again the program is run for the same set of parameters the bursting program is ending in error, i have checked the log file but nothing in the log file

Is this a custom or standard concurrent program?
Was this working properly before? If yes, what changes have been done recently?
Did you try to relink the concurrent program executable file and see if this helps? Also, you could enable trace/debug and submit the request again and see if more details are collected in the logs -- See (Note: 296559.1 - FAQ: Common Tracing Techniques within the Oracle Applications 11i/R12).

Can you find any details about the error from the "View Detail" button (the same window where you check the log and output files)?
I found the Workflow logs, I am not sure what I am looking for, but i am not seeing any errors reported.The event viewer is supposed to send an email, so do you see anything in the logs that could be related?

Jax-ws deployed in standalone client fails with nullpointerexception

I have a project which has deployed successfully as a standalone client with deployed jar files wlfullclient.jar, etc. When I add the jax-ws functions that I require, the deployed client fails with a nullpointerexception that is generated from the constructor of the Service class. The project runs successfully within the JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 environment and on a weblogic 10.3 server platform, but fails when I deploy as a standalone client with the wlfullclient.jar. I'm using JDK 1.6.0_24. In testing, the error occurs when I replace the {WLHome}\server\lib\weblogic.jar entry in the classpath with the wlfullclient.jar.
I tested from another angle by creating my jax-ws functions in a standalone deployment, and it works successfully communicates with the webservices. No additional entries on the classpath besides my deployed jar. I then added to my deployment a simple JMS context lookup:

Interestingly, there is a class com/sun/xml/internal/ws.spi/ProviderImpl in the {JAVA_HOME}/jre/lib/rt.jar file, and I suppose this is what is used by the jax-ws classes when the wlfullclient.jar is not present on the classpath.
So, what is it that I am missing in how to get the jax-ws classes and the jms classes to work in the standalone deployment environment (outside of the JDeveloper environment).

Here is how I solved this problem to execute the application from a jar file (using Oracle Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.5.0 distribution). The key seems to be to extract the contents of the wseeclient.zip file into the same directory as the wlfullclient.jar and ws.api_1.1.0.0.jar files and then ensure that these 2 jars are on the classpath.
In JDeveloper, create a project that has the jms/jax-ws classes.
Put the following text entries to form the classpath (along with other dependent jars, e.g. org.eclipse.persistence...) into a file which will be included in the manifest for the client jar. Be sure to separate entries with a space.
lib/wlfullclient.jar lib/wseeclient.jar lib\ws.api_1.1.0.0.jar lib\org.eclipse.persistence_1.1.0.0_2-1.jar
In the Edit Deployment Profile Properties, select Include Manifest File, specify the main class to execute, and Add the classpath file to be included in the manifest.
Deploy the jar file.
In a deployment area, create the directory that will contain all the classpath jars (e.g. ./lib).
Within the directory ./lib, extract all files from wseeclient.zip (found in {weblogic home}/server/lib)
Copy wlfullclient.jar into the directory ./lib from the {weblogic home}/server/lib
Copy ws.api_1.1.0.0.jar into the directory ./lib from {oracle middleware home}modules
Copy org.eclipse.persistence_1.1.0.0_2-1.jar (for jaxb support) itno the directory ./lib from {oracle middleware home}/modules
Copy the deployed client jar to the deployment area and execute, e.g.:
java -jar ClientTest.jar myArguments

How to work with Canon EOS 6D log file in Lightroom

After searching all over the place I found an easy solution for working with the log file from the Canon 6D.
This file is in .log format and can not be imported in Lightroom directly, because LR works with the .gpx format.
First place the file out of the camera memory to the SD card as told in the manual.
Copy the .log file to your computer.
Go to GPS Visualizer.
On the start screen there is a green box.
You can choose the .gpx output format there.
Browse for your .log file.
Give command to convert and after a short while you can download the converted .gpx file.
This one you can import in Maps in LR (with that snake like symbol down the mainscreen).
This worked perfect for me and I would like to share this information, because both Canon and Adobe couldn't help me and pointed to each other.

You should never use relative paths to access the filesystem. The path would be relative to the current working directory which is not per se the same in all environments. To convert a relative web path to an absolute file system path, you need ServletContext#getRealPath(). Use this absolute file system path in the java.io stuff. In a JSF application on top of Servlet API you can get the underlying ServletContext by ExternalContext#getContext().
Alternatively, if the file is located in one of the default paths of the classpath or if its path is added to the classpath, you can also just use ExternalContext#getResource() or even #getResourceAsStream() using just the file name.

Database Engine won't start - master DB log file issue

I had a server patched and reboot yesterday and now the SQL services won't start because it's saying it can't find the master log file. I checked the path and the log file is present. Any suggestions.

That did it. Not sure why that switch was there.
It might have been intended, but it was added incorrectly. -g512 is a legal switch. Then again, since you have 64-bit SQL Server, it is not likely that you will needed.
(The -g switch increases the area known as memtoleave, which is the virtual address space (VAS) not used for the buffer cache. On 32-bit SQL Server you may need to increase this area from the default of 256 MB. On 64-bit SQL Server the full physical memory
is available for VAS; on 32-bit it's only 2GB.)

I am having problems making ACS 4.1 record user command information to the tacacs+ log file. I have set both the cmd and cmd-arg fields for the log but all I get is this:

Hi Manoj.I am also getting the same problem in the weblogicserver version-6.1 SP2.It is also using the jdk 1.31.
