Business Connector 4.8 post http 1.0 1.1

Hello,
I have one problem,
I must post an xml file to a external server wich only use post http 1.1
I have traced my tcp stream an i see, that the BC service "http" use http 1.0.
Is it possible to give this service any paramter so that he use 1.1
Or have anyone build an new java service the use http 1.1?

The source code of the http service is not available.
But i think i can write a new Java service.
I don't now why it is not compatible.
This is the first time we have this problem.
The customer tells me, that his server only understand http 1.1
4.7 and 4.8 are nearly the same
In 4.8 a lot of the java services will updatet.
The most of the changes are bugfix.

Business Connector : get querystring variables in url

I have to get these variables drug_code,drung_desc and assing to a recordList..
Firstly Which methods do i have to use and how?
stringToDocument , documentToRecord?

Just declare these parameter names as input variables of type String in the Business Connector service. Then you will have them in your pipeline automatically.

SAP Business Connector on Windows XP

I've been trying to get the SAP Business Connector 4.7 to work on Windows XP professional but haven't been very successful. The business connector seems to install okay, but when I try to start the business connector through the server.bat file it generates the following errors:

These errors don't stop the business connector from starting up, but the errors are not normal behaviour. When I try to start the business connector through a Windows service then I get the message "Could not start the SAP Business Connector Service on Local Computer. Error 126: The specified module could not be found".
I have a working business connector installation on a Windows 2000 server, and when I checked the error log of that installation I noticed that it had logged the same errors about the 'WmPartners' package. It on the other hand didn't have any problems loading the 'SAP' package.
I tried installing the business connector on two different systems with identical results. Has anybody been able to get the business connector to work on Windows XP?

How do we Integratet SAP to Non-SAP Using Business Connector

I am new to SAP Business Connector !!
and what are the Forms ? for SAP Business Connector Related Postings ??

We need to Generate the SAP Data In xml Format ? and the Non-sap System can Understand Only XML Formated data.

IDoc Inbound Business Connector

Hello
I am trying to send an inbound IDoc to SAP via Business Connector. This is shortly to be replaced by XI.
The flow in Business Connector creates a routing rule which is blank because it is not finding the control information from the IDoc I believe.
I think I am missing a step in my flow.
Currently the flow is
document to record
Transform hierarchy to Flat.
Map ( mapping the fields into the IDoc)
Record to Idoc
Inbound process
The inbound process always fails because it doesnt recognise the message type, sender etc.
This is all the idoc and in record to Idoc this is an input with an output of Idoc list which is passed to the inbound process.
However Idoclist I believe doesn't seem to contain any data.
I think a step is missing can anyone help??

BC adapter can be used when you want to communicate to a existing interface on Business Connector. If you are talking to SAP, you use RFC / IDOC adapters.
The SAP Business Connector (BC) is used in a large number of SAP production environments. SAP Business Connector will probably be gradually phased out and replaced by SAP XI technology. For the short term SAP Business connector and SAP XI will inevitably continue to coexist in companies IT landscapes.

Business Connector Combine MATMAS & CLFMAS

Hello.
I'm wondering what's the best way to combine a matmas and clfmas in business connector 4.7?
Is there a way only sending 1 idoc from sap with the matmas+clfmas content? This would eliminate my combination problem in business connector.

Jeroen,
In SAP you can send out both MATMAS and CLFMAS. You have to set the "Send material in full" check box. You will need to have both MATMAS, CLFMAS and DOLMAS in your partner profile.
You can ignore the DOLMAS.
You then should have both IDocs in SAP BC (you may need to set the packet size to get them together).
If not build your self a simple queue by using the repository store and storing the first IDoc using the link (MATNR) as the key.

Business Connector 4.6 VS CRM 4.0

I have to modify through Business Connector 4.6 some data related to SalesOrders on CRM 3.0. The fields to be modified are:
- Partner code;
- The reference date;
- User Status at Item level;
I have tried to resolve the problem through a BAPI (but it doesn't exist), with a classical Batch Input (it produces a DUMP), analyzing the standard code but it is very complicated.
Can you HELP ME. Do you have any suggestion about how to modify the fields?

Business Connector Connection with SAP

Hi!!!
I have a XML file with 3 fields with 100 records. I have in SAP a Z table with the same fields of the XML file.
I made the mapping in SAP BC Developer. I want to put the records of the XML in the Z table of SAP. How can I configure this to SAP BC connects with SAP and fill the table?

The SAP Business Connector is a middleware product based on webMethods B2B Integration Server. It allows you to integrate with R/3 using open and non proprietary technology. SAP BC uses the Internet as communication platform and XML/HTML as data format. Thus it seamlessly integrates different IT architectures with R/3.

How to HTTP POST data to SAP Business Connector

Hello,
I would like to transfer data from a client with HTTP POST to SAP Business Connector. SAP BC acts as server. In SAP BC I created a Java service containing the code:

But how can I access the data that was sent with HTTP POST in my service?

Business connector http error

Hi XI'ers,
For those who know about business connector and java errors.
We are sending bapi (BAPI_POEC_XML_SEND) to business connector. Everything is ok until the HTTP request to our client which is failing.
The error is :
"java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index out of range: -1
at com.wm.util.List.elementAt(List.java:101)
at com.wm.lang.xml.token.BlockInputBuffer.getChar(BlockInputBuffer.java:59)..."
The http request is used with method post.

ok, I think we do not need the save/loadPipeline things, because you can debug the flow without that. I first thought you act as HTTP server, but you issue the client call in the flow itself.
Looking at the logs more carefully, it shows for example:
Copy failed: (Simple) No source data available: to=/returnedStatusCode(0), from=/returnHttp(0)/cXML(0)/Response(0)/Status(0)/@code(0)
But you say have that input:

So we see that your mappings assumptions do not match the result structure.
The other problem is that you get a status 500 and do not receive a cXML document, but that might be ok, depending on what parameters you pass to the other HTTP server. At least, you get a meaningful error message back from the server, meaning communication is ok.
I suggest you first correct those "copy failed" issues and then check by single-stepping where exactly the flow fails and check that input again.
By the way, when I feed the above cXML into recordToDocument, it works fine. Did you specify other input parameters besides "node" (e.g. recordName) ? And again, are you on Core Fix 8 ?
