for Availability request ,i am not aware of using business
connector and bapi before,they are going for some java code,now i have to create java code and use this particualr BAPI,pls if somebody already worked on such issue,then help me with some material which will guide
me and help me in finishing this task easily,

That's a shame, because I was thinking about implementing a business search api for my real estate website that was created using business catalyst that allows the collection of all real estate agents in Australia by searching and collecting their information from the Yellow Pages and White Pages directories, and include these information in a database that allows users to search for the real estate agent they want and comment on that agent. This can only be done by integrating some PHP or JAVA code into my BC website.
So that means that the only way that I can do this is to create a web app that allows users to search for the real estate agent they want to see and comment on that agent, just by entering real estate agents' information into the web app's database and using various BC modules and plugins. Are there other easier ways to do this? Thanks.

Get Data from SAP over the Business Connector into a Java Programm

Hallo dear community,
i would like to receive data from the sap over the application business connector into a java programm. i work with the german book "SAP Business Connector 4.8 - Administration und Entwicklung".
Now i hand on the routing rule.

How and where to install MDM Connector and MDM Java API

Hi all
I am installing MDM Server 5.5 and refering to Installation gude
MDM 5.5 SP06 installation guide (Document Version 1.1 December 10, 2007). While installing Development and Portal components , We have to install MDM Connector and MDM JAVA API. I want to know whether the file JAVAAPI<version>.sca file is to extracted on MDM Server or SRM Server ( Using SDM). Please let me know

We have to install MDM Connector and MDM JAVA API.
All these sca files that u got along with the business content needs to be deployed onto Web Application Server (recommended WAS 7.0 ).
U can deploy these files with the help of SDM.

Business Connector and sap router on same server?

We are investigating currently in order to install "Business Connector" and "Sap router" on a same dedicated server.
I would like to know if it is possible or not recommended, etc... if there are some guidelines.

Business connector and idoc

Currently i am working on BC for creating
sales order using idoc , i have input file with me,
which is an xml format and the mapping is ready in
BC , only problem which i am facing is that i am not
able to understand following thing
1) How can i test these mapping as initial input
for mapping is node ,which won't except any input
2) How we can call these idoc structure(for example
ORDERS) in my BC.

See IDOC and BAPI'S are two different techniques for contacting the R/3. What you can do is call IDOC inside BAPI. BAPI is like your function (say java) and inside that you are creating an IDOC (say a file) and you are sending it to that R/3. For IDOCs you have to set Routing rules and all.. GOTO SE11-> TOJTB-> give your business object
You get the list of programs where you are using your business object.
If a BAPI exists with this business object even that's displayed.

Back in 2003 I have used an Applet which contain java code and this java code was calling the java scripts ( different methods, DHTML etc..)
There was a component developed by NetScape called JSObject I am not sure it there is other third party component other then the JSObject

Problem with ELSTER and Business Connector

it's not really a XI Problem but I have no idea, where I could post it anyway.
For LSTA/LSTB with Elster we installed the Business Connector.
To check the settings we execute the report RPUTX7D0.
The following error message appears:

Substitution rule for Business place and section code

Hello Friends,
We have a business place and a section code. I want to write a substituion rule for vendor invoice for business place and section code.
When i see in header, i am not find BUPLA and SECCO in header. I am finding them in line item. How do i get these fields in header segment. I tried substution rule in line item, but the tds is not deducted.

i am not understand your problem. Previously i face one problem regarding business place and section code. While booking invoices and advance payments the user forgets to specify business place or section code and some times he specifys wrong business place also. Basing on business place or section code we cant restrict the users because there is no authorisation object.
i created one validation that if my business area is 1000. then substitute the business place field with section code.
we have business place individual business area wise so i created this substitution.
