Button is with the same height is smaller than TF

i set the button's height to 25 px and textfield's height to 25 px.
during designing the page they looked like they have the same height. but in the browser the textfield is much higher!
How could that be?

Thank you for your response.
Please note that I don't have the problem in my deployed application... it only occurs on my development machine during development while there is no IIS server involved.
In Visual Studio 2012 while working on my Lightswitch application (which is connected to an external SQL database as the datasource), when I execute the application from within Visual Studio (click Start or press F5) and then add a row
to a datagrid, that is when I get the error.  However, if I deploy the application to an IIS server and then execute it using Internet Explorer I do not get the error and the application runs fine.
If it is true that the problem is related to the problem of case sensitivity then what would be causing it within the development environment itself prior to being deployed?  I understand that the url used to execute the program must use the same
case as the program name... i.e.  if the program is deployed named MyProgram then when executing it you must use the same case
http://ServerName/MyProgram  not
http://ServerName/myprogram  but that is not what is happening in my case.
I am getting the error when executing directly within Visual Studio when clicking "Start"  or pressing F5 within the IDE.  Where do I look for that problem?
Thanks

  • PanelBoxes with the same height

    Hello,
    Anyone knows how to layout two panelBoxes horizontally and make them the same height (the height of the higher of them)?
    regards,
    kp

    Hi There
    Let me understand this first . Do you want the value in the the first and second columns with-in each repeated frame to to take up the same space?
    You could make using of the format trigger on the individual items and the srw.set_field_XXX built-ins.
    e.g. on the second column (c2) has something that will look similar to this:
    function F_c2Form return boolean is
    begin
    SRW.SET_FIELD_CHAR(0,rpad(:c2,greatest(length(:c1),length(:c2),) ));
    return (TRUE);
    end;
    And on the first column (c1) will have something look like the following:
    function F_c1Form return boolean is
    begin
    SRW.SET_FIELD_CHAR(0,rpad(:c1,greatest(length(:c1),length(:c2),) ));
    return (TRUE);
    end;
    Alternatively you could put the rpad value into the underlying statement.
    e.g.
    select rpad(to_char(sysdate),100) from dual
    Hope this helps

  • RE: multiple named objects with the same name andinterface

    David,
    First I will start by saying that this can be done by using named anchored
    objects and registering them yourself in the name service. There is
    documentation on how to do this. And by default you will get most of the
    behavior you desire. When you do a lookup in the name service (BindObject
    method) it will first look in the local partition and see if there is a
    local copy and give you that copy. By anchoring the object and manually
    registering it in the name service you are programmatically creating your
    own SO without defining it as such in the development environment. BTW in
    response to your item number 1. This should be the case there as well. If
    your "mobile" object is in the same partition where the service object he is
    calling resides, you should get a handle to the local instance of the
    service object.
    Here is the catch, if you make a bind object call and there is no local copy
    you will get a handle to a remote copy but you can not be sure which one!
    It end ups as more or less a random selection. Off the top of my head and
    without going to the doc, I am pretty sure that when you register an
    anchored object you can not limit it's visibility to "User".

    Subject: multiple named objects with the same name and interface
    All,
    More than once, I have wished that Forte allowed you to place named
    objects with the same name in more than one partition. There are two
    situations in which this seems desirable:
    1) Objects that are not distributed, but are mobile (passed by value to
    remote objects), cannot safely reference a Service Object unless it has
    environment visibility, but this forces the overhead of a remote method
    call when it might not otherwise be necessary. If it were possible to
    place a copy of the same Service Object (with user visibility) in each
    partition, the overhead of a remote method call could be avoided. This
    would only be useful for a service object whose state could be safely
    replicated.
    2) My second scenario also involves mobile objects referencing a Service
    Object, but this time I would like the behavior of the called Service
    Object to differ with the partition from which it is called.
    This could be accomplished by placing Service Objects with the same name
    and the same interface in each partition, but varying the implementation
    with the partition.
    Does anyone have any thoughts about why this would be a good thing or a
    bad thing?

  • How to differentiate between Radio Buttons with the same name?

    My form has two fields, to which I gave the same name ("Radio Button 1.0") in order to achieve mutual exclusivity.
    Now, I would like to use JavaScript to retrieve the value of one the two fields:
    var checkMark = this.getField("Radio Button1.0");
    if (checkMark.value == "Yes") {
    Questions:
    What is the proper way to inspect the value of a Radio Button? I have tried this:
    if (checkMark.value == "No") [...]
    but it doesn't seem to work.
    How can I tell apart 2 radio buttons with the same name?
    TIA,
    -RFH

    When Radio Buttons and Check Boxes are unchecked their value is "Off", so if you have "Yes", "No" buttons you will also encounter an 'Off" value. Now if you want to look at a given button, you will have to use the "isBoxChecked(nWidget)" method.
    nWidget:
    The 0-based index of an individual radiobutton or checkbox widget for this field. The index is determined by the order in which the individual widgets of this field were created (and is unaffected by tab-order).
    Every entry in the Fields panel has a suffix giving this index, for example MyField #0.
    Returns
    true if the specified widget is currently checked, false otherwise.
    Example
    var f = this.getField("ChkBox");
    if(f.isBoxChecked(0))
    app.alert("The Box is Checked");
    else
    app.alert("The Box is not Checked");

  • How do you create aligned interactive text boxs in a PDF with the same width and height?

    how do you create aligned interactive text boxs in a PDF with the same width and height?
    Without free hand creating the sizing?

    Assuming by "interactive text boxes" you mean form fields; in Acrobat, make a form field, then copy it and paste. (GIve the pasted copy a different name so they don't genetate the same field feedback.) Now you have two fields of the exact same size. Shift-click or marquee-drag to select both, then right-click and choose a command from the Align, Distribute or Center menu.

  • How to fill an 8x10 page with the same image for making buttons?

    How do you make a button template using the grid?  How do you import the image onto that, and how do you fill an entire page with the same image ie-  1" circles

    I'm trying to do the same thing but I want 1" squares.  I just upgraded from Elements 6 and I did this
    quite often for pendant necklaces.  I used to go and print individual prints, but the previous options are not there.  ;(
    And the picture package is only showing 20 (2x2) as being the smallest size.  I don't see a custom button.
    Can anyone tell me how to do this?  We're doing these for a fundraiser and I can't even print anymore.

  • NewBie Q : How to make one clickable shape jump to a slide with the same name of the shape (button c_1 to slide c_1 f.e.) .

    I made some clickable placeholders on a masterslide
    Then : a new slide based on that masterslide
    and want to use one script or shared  action that says "on success jump to another slide with te samen name as the button...)
    Sorry for this unusual semantic language.
    But already thanks for answering!
    Lucas
    PS I'm using a trial version to try out a branched interactive scenario. A choice of a user leads tot anothe slide with a video reaction followed by other choices,...)

    Sorry, but I'm not a native English speaker, and I have some problems with your question.
    The only interactive object that is possible on a master slide is a shape button. What do you mean by a 'clickable placeholder'?  Why I like Shape Buttons - Captivate 6! - Captivate blog  explains possibilities with shape buttons.  Maybe the idea to have such a shape button on a master slide is not the best, because you cannot control objects on master slides since they do not have an ID. You cannot give a name to a shape button on the master slide, which means the scenario you are talking about is just impossible?
    Moreover: Captivate doesn't like to have the same name/label to be used for different objects. There are some exceptions, you can have an advanced action with the same name as the interactive object that is triggering that action, provided you label first the interactive object before labeling the action. With  "script" you probably mean an advanced action?
    If you tried to explain what you want to do as detailed as possible, maybe I could propose something. You'll see that my blog is focussed on advanced and shared actions. One other puzzling sentence is 'same name as the button'? Are you really talking about the name of the button or about the label ON the button?

  • HT4623 My husband just did the update for his iPhone 4, his phone is frozen with the iTunes page and a usb cable across the homescreen. He's tried holding down all the buttons all at the same time. can't shut it off. popped out the sim card, won't charge

    We just did the iPhone update ios 6. The screen is frozen with the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB cale across the screen. none of the buttons respond.The phone does not recognize the apple USB when connected. We tried holding all the buttons down at the same time and also removed the SIM card and reinserted.

    If it's not being recognized while it's in recovery mode in your itunes, try this
    plug the phone into the usb attached to the computer
    hold down the home and sleep/wake button on top simultaneously until the phone's screen goes black
    When the screen goes black, release your finger from the sleep/week button on top but continue holding the home button until you see a dialog on the itunes screen on your computer that says 'itunes has detected a device in recovery mode'
    then say 'ok,' select 'restore,' and say 'restore and update'

  • Iphoto shows two photo libraries with the same name, one in small letters the other in all capital letters. they both open the same library and the only one in my computer. How do delete the capital letrs one as the one in the pictures folder is in

    In my  iPhoto application when I select switch libraries It shows 2 libraries with the same name, but one has the name is in Capital letters.
    They both open the same library which is in the Pictures folder. This is the only library I can see and the name is not in capital letters?
    How do I get rid of the one in capital letters

    What is your iPhoto version?
    when I select switch libraries It shows 2 libraries with the same name, but one has the name is in Capital letters.
    In the Library Chooser Panel look for the pathes to the two duplicate libraries. You will see the location of the libraries in the path bar at the bottom of the window when you select one of the libraries. Does it show both libraries in the same folder?

    HI All,
    I have a Problem with Romming Between SSIDs withing the same WLC but with deferent VLAN . the WLC are providing the HQ and one of the Branches the Wireless services .
    Am using all the available 9 SSIDs at the HQ , and am using only 4 of it at the Brnche.
    The problem that i have are happening only at the Branch office as i cant room between the SSIDs within Diferent VLANs but i can do it with the one that pointing to the same VLAN. Once the client ( Laptop/Phone ) connected to one of the SSIDs. it imposiible to have him connected to the other ones with Different VLAN. meanwhile, It says its connected to the other SSID but its not getting IP from that pool.
    here is the Show Run-Config from my WLC .. and the Problem happening between the SSID AMOBILE and ASTAFF. i have the Debug while am switching between the SSIDs if needed .

    Well you need to understand the behavior of h-reap or what it's called now, FlexConnect. In this mode, the clients are still remembers on the WLC until the session timer/idle timer expires. So switching between SSID's in h-reap will not be the same when switching when the AP's are in local mode.
    Take a look at the client when connected in FlexConnect in the WLC GUI monitor tab. Thus will show you what ssid and vlan the client is on. Now switch to a different ssid and compare this. It's probably the same because the client has not timed out. Now go back to the other ssid and look again. Now on the WLC, remove or delete the client and then switch to the other ssid at the same time. Or switch SSID's and then remove the client. The client will join the new ssid and in the monitor tab, you should see the info.
    There is no need to have clients have multiple SSID's unless your testing. Devices should only have one ssid profile configured to eliminate any connectivity issues from the device wanting to switch SSID's.

  • Cloning OS2 HDD to USB stick hangs at a file with the same name ???

    Hi,
    I'm dragging my MacIntosh HD icon to a large USB stick in order to clone it because I'm going to install OS X Tiger onty my iMac G3/400 DV SE. The copying initiates, it starts, and after a few hundreds of MB's a small window pops up with this remark (translated from Dutch) :
    " The file XXXXX cannot be copied because another file with the same name exists already." The window has two buttons : STOP and Continue. No matter which button I click, the process stops and I'm left with a few hundred MB on my USB stick. Deleting the "double" file doesn't help because a few minutes later another one pops up.
    How is this possible? The USB stick is completely empty! Can anybody tell me what's going on and how to stop this, otherwise I'll never be able to clone the HDD.
    Thanks for your kind information,
    Paul

    It was a bug in Classic OS, which was manifest in certain circumstances. My workaround was, at that time, to isolate the rascal (was possible, like in your case), eliminate it, then add it later.
    Such events may occurs with Mac OS X files too, I cannot figure out why. One or two apps in my software archive usually do that.
    another workaround it to archive it (.zip now, .sit in classic Mac OS), check whether applicable.

  • Drawing images gives 2 different results with the same code.

    Im adding my code on here, and its sort of long but ill try to explain it. Most of it you can ignore.
    Anyway i'm making a tree menu with only 1 level of expansion. So you have a TreeMenu object, and this object has some Branch classes. These Branch classes have Leaf classes. That is all. On the menu there is also a little box where you can click to expand and collapse each branch. if a branch is expanded, all of its leaves are shown. if it is collapsed only the branch name is shown.
    So far what I've described above works, there is a small scale compilable working program, that is alright. Theres just a few bugs to fix.
    A little feature of the tree is if a branch or a leaf is selected (has been clicked on in the past) it has a blue background. This sort of works. The branch names seem to work alright, and some of the leaves. However other if you run the example i provided you can click on Leaf 1, and it will be ok, but if you click on Leaf 2 then there blue background is twice as big as it should be. But for the rest, it works ok.
    This is weird to me because the same code handles any of these same situations. So it seems that i get 2 diferent results with the same code. If anyone would like to help heres some stuff you should know:
    You can ignore Leaf class, i dont think theres any errors in there.
    You can ignore just about all of Branch class except the update() method.
    You can ignore all of TreeMenu class except the inner MouseListener class might be useful.
    You can ignore TreeTester. Just the JFrame tester class.
    to run the code:
    javac TreeMenu.java
    java TreeMenu
    http://cs.ucsb.edu/~jsterling/treemenu.zip
    thanks.

    You make a good point Stefan but unfortunately I already checked that.  I have even copied the mapping (right click copy) and pasted it from the working Mapping to the bad Map (Paste) to make sure the context values were all the same.
    I also opened all the queues and compared the values in each.  All values match exactly except for the result(out) queue.
    In both tests I am using the same IDOC XML file.
    These are the only differences I see.
    1.  The IDOC is exactly the same as far as I can tell but they come from two different source SWCV.  SAP APPL 4.7 and Steelcase_Procurement (ECC 6.0).
    2.  The working map uses a local UDF.  The bad map calls the UDF from a Function Group.  Is there a Java version difference between the two?
    A better sample of the result queues look like this:
    Correct Result:
    Thickness of Glass: 20
    Height: 10
    Width: 5
    Length: 18
    Thickness of Glass: 10
    Height: 15
    Width: 8
    Length: 14
    Bad Result:
    Thickness of Glass: 20
    <null>
    <null>
    <null>
    Width: 5
    <null>
    <null>
    <null>
    I took this chance to redesign my Variant Config output to separate the characteristics/values, but I'm still bothered that I was unable to determine what would cause the differing values.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Matt

    You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

    I recently purchased FaceTime from the Application Store. After approx. ±10 meg, the application resets and starts downloading again. I have tried to download it at different times of the day but with the same results. I have been in contact with Apple support and have tried different options with the same result. I cannot download a new Version because in my Purchased List the applicaiton (FaceTime) is still there, and because I have halted it it tells me to resume. I can’t, because the same thing is going to happen. I have tried all the various troubleshooting tips supplied by my ISP and also Apple Support with no luck. I am currently working on a IMac OS 10.6.7. Has anybody got any ideas? Any suggestion would help. Thanks

    As I said, I tried everything what the manual says, but hard luck. I have taken an appointment for today, lets see what happens.
    Also there is no activity on unit when I use the remote. The unit is stuck on the first page itself where we have to choose the language. The unit seems to be fine to me but the real problem is remote does'nt have activity. The IR is not responding while pressing any of the button.
    Good luck with your appointment.
    Not much consolation but even new products can have issues and might need a trip to a store to return/replace.
    The reason i asked about the LED on the AppleTV is that occasionally it thinks it's paired with a specific remote and ignores others - the unpair keypress I described is quick and free.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
    In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
    You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support.
