My parents going to EUA, and i want ask for them to bring IPhone 3G(S), cuz here in Brazil is so expensive...
Someone knows to tell me if is possible make unlock at Apple Store ?
If is possible how much is this operation ?
If them dont make this operation, can i only to buy in "black market" ?
How much is the IPhone 3G(S) unlocked in EUA ?
If the price of IPhone unlocked more expensive than here, i buy here...
The IPhone cheaper is $400 if u got contract with TIM, where u must pay 1 year $250 per month.

Ok, I suppose EUA means Estados Unidos da América, doesn't it? Most falks here know this country going by the name of USA (or USofA or simply US).
There are no unlocked iPhones on sale in the US at the moment and it is unclear if there ever going to be any. One of a few countries where iPhones are sold "unlocked" is Italy, but the warranty is unfortunately only valid for Italy only.
I'd strongly suggest you bought your iPhone in Brazil so that you could assure yourself full service and customer experience.

I'm active duty military and will be deploying in January. Currently I have the iPhone 4... and CDMA isn't an option where I am going. Yes, I know I'll have to pay full price. I'd like to stay in touch with my wife (via e-mail... voice is too expensive!) so i thought about purchasing an iPhone 4s.

I remember the good ole days when I could turn on the unlimited e-mail/data blackberry package when I went abroad... my wife and I were able to stay in touch so easily!!!

Well, I'm sure AN answer can be had, the question is whether it will be correct! I don't know if you have ever tried getting a phone unlocked within the first week or so of its release. Yes, people can tell you how it works on other global devices, but no one can tell you how it will work on this 4s when no one has actually had their hands on it and had the experience of trying to get it unlocked. THAT is why I said calling VZ would be the best option for getting an answer. Or...you can wait it out on here and wade through the theories...but that could still take several weeks.

The iPhone does not have an international warranty.
The warranty is only good in the country where it was originally sold. If you purchased it in the U.S. then you must take it back to the US to have it serviced.

No, you can't do what you want. Apple will only ship a US iPhone to a verified billing/shipping address in the US.

If you're talking about buying the phone in the US, forget it. There are NO unlocked iPhones sold in the US and no US iPhone can be officially unlocked. Thus, it doesn't really matter what it costs.

It will not do anything (other than call 911) until you activate it with a microSIM. Look into an iPod Touch instead.

Yes, if you go to an Apple store in the US physically, then you can purchase an unlocked iPhone 4s and is should work in Russia, but you can't do it online - there is no international delivery available online and you need a US credit card and shipping address to be able to do that, but if you go there in person, you can certainly purchase and unlocked iPhone 4s.
