BW-BPS: Display created documents in query
Hello,
I have a web interface with function to create comments. Now I'd like to display these comments in a query. No comments were displayed at the moment in the query. I know that comments exist. If I select in a cell, which has comments in web interface, in context menu the point 'GoTo -> Display documents' I get message: Not all selected documents are displayed. This is due to authorizations.' But if I create in this selection a comment, this comment will display in query and web interface. What could be the problem? Which authorization are missing? In transaction rsa1 -> Documents I get the same error message when I select same InfoCube.

Hi All,
I have found that in the user maintenance, the profile and the role do not seem to be synchronised. It seems the profile contains an additional global profile that allows the user to view all data. We have removed it and it is working now. I am not too sure how this profile exists for the user. It could be that we added the role previously and when we removed the role the profile does not get reflected.

Access/display BW Document in BEx Query
Hello,
I have a request to create a BEx query to access BW documents. These BW documents are created in documents manager via WEB planning screens. I can see in Analyzer where we have queries created to do this but I am unable to get any of these to work. I have tried searching SAP Help and SCN and see no direction on how to do this. I am not sure if I am stating this request correctly. We are on BW/Analyzer 7.3.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well, if the document was created in BPS, I doubt that it can be shown in a query. I think the kind of document and the data it is connected to is different, but I am not sure about this.
This might be mor a question for portal or knowledge management, so maybe it´s better to find a forum for these topics here in SCN.

Can Workflow display a document via fb03 after an AP invoice is created.
My objective:
After a user has created an AP invoice successfully via fb60, a workflow event is triggered to load the new AP document via transaction fb03.
Question:
What type of step needs to be created in the workflow definition to accomplish this task?
What I have done and the respective result:
I had added code to the BTE event to trigger a workflow when the bkpf object is created. This piece of code is working. In the workflow definition, I had added a step to send an email notification to the initiator. This works too. However, I could not and do not know how to define the step to load the same document via fb03.
Please advice. Greatly appreciated.To send a workitem to display the document:
1) Check if a Standard Task that uses object method BKPF.Display already exists in your system. If not crete one.
2) Insert an activity step in your workflow that uses the above task.

Step 1: Create User Group SQ03
Follow the menu path SAP Menu > Tools > ABAP Workbench > Utilities > SAP Query > User Groups
a) In the User Group: Initial Screen -
Enter User Group Code (self named)
Click on Create
b) In the User Group (Code): Create or Change pop-up window -
Enter the User Group Description
Click on Save
c) In the Create Object Directory Entry pop-up window -
Ö Click on Local Object button
Ö The User Group Created is saved
Step 2: Create User Group SQ02
Follow the menu path SAP Menu > Tools > ABAP Workbench > Utilities > SAP Query > Infosets
a) In the Infoset: Initial screen -
Ö Enter Infoset Code (self named)
Ö Click on Create button
b) In the Infoset: Title & Database Screen -
Ö Enter Description of Infoset in the Name field
Ö In the Data Source selection: Select appropriate Data Source by clicking
the radio button
· Source the data can either be multiple tables OR single table. There are 4
options for the user to select from
Ö Click on Continue (Enter)
Ö Selected Table gets displayed in the Infoset : Initial Screen

Ö Enter the Table Name that is to be inserted

Ö Select a Data Field from the expanded Table view, which is to be added to
the Field Group on the right.
Ö Select a Field Group on the right side, in which Data Field selected above

Ö Right click on the Data Field selected and click on Add Field to Field Group
Ö The selected Data Field gets added to the selected Field Group, which is
indicated by an arrow next to the Field Group.
Ö Carry out the steps above to add the required Data Fields to the respective
Field Groups
Ö After transferring Data Fields to Field Groups click on Generate button
h) In the Create Object Directory Entry Screen -
Ö Click on Logical Object button to generate the infoset
i) In the Change Infoset Screen -

Display a document library view on a subsite
Hi
I have SharePoint 2013 On-Premise and I would like to display a document library from the top level site in a subsite. This subsite will then be saved as a template and used to create other subsites.
For example,
I have a site called Site 1. In Site 1 there is a document library called doclib1. Site1 also has a subsite called subsiteA.
I would like to display a view from doclib1 in subsiteA. SubsiteA will then be used as a template to create subsiteB, subsiteC etc.
I have tried a few things but these have not worked or I am not doing it correctly. Here is what I have tried
Copied doclib1 code from site1 to subsiteA using SPDesigner. I get the error "List does not exist......"
Used a Content Query Webpart. I get the error "Something went wrong"
Used a Data view web part. The complete page was displayed. I only want the view
Although it looks possible, I do not know how to take this forward. All I need is to display generic documents on each subsite that can be modified from one location.

To get the custom field in the search filter. You need to follow these steps.
Go to the Search schema from the Manage Service Applications -> Search Service Application in Central Administration
Create a Managed property for your field (Category)
Map the crawl property to the Managed property.
Once managed property created, run the full crawl.
Once full crawl executed, you are able to get your filter property in the search filter.

Display the document currency instead display Currency in Report
Hi Experts,
I am having a query in support system, in that one characteristic called document currency is there under Unit Dimension and this Doc currency info object having the Display currency and Document currency as Variables. Document currency Info object is in Free characteristics without related variables (Disp.curr and Doc.curr)
When I execute the query defaultly Display currency will appear as a variable in selection screen, because customer exit(cmod) has created like that
Now user want to display the document currency instead Display currency in the report, may I know how can I solve this problem?
Here I am unable to get the customer exit detatils and which program is there in CMOD, can anyone suggest me, how I will get the details?
And one more requirement in this CR, that is user want to display the key figure amount in the report should be displayed with the document currency amount only
May I know, want to do any settings for this?

1.customer exit value you can change in CMOD,select your project and go to components and select EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001.there go to include zxrsru01,and change display variable to document currency variable.
2. if u want to display your key figure value in document currency ,,go to that key figure info object ,,,in currency ( reference) field give document currency info object.Then map the respective amount value again in transformation.load the data, now in report document currency will be displayed along with key figure amount.

Need to create an ABAP query on 2 tables BSIK and BSAK
Hi,
I need to create an ABAP query which has the fields document no, doc date, amount in doc currency and some other fields from 2 tables BSIK and BSAK. Is it possible to write a single abap query to fetch the data from both the tables.
The selection screen fields are doc number, date and doc type.
I need to display invoices for open items and cleared items together.

How to create an ABAP Query with OR logical expression in the select-where
Hi,
In trying to create an ABAP query with parameters. So it will select data where fields are equal to the parameters entered. The default logical expression is SELECT.. WHERE... AND.. However I want to have an OR logical expression instead of AND.. how can I attain this??

You cannot just replace AND with OR in an ABAP QUERY. ABAP QUERY is a self generated SAP code. You'll just declare the tables, input parameters and output fields to be displayed and it will create a SAP standard code. If you'll try to change the code and replace the AND with OR in the SAP standard code, the system will require you to enter access key/object key for that particular query.

I have already tried to insert a code in the ABAP query (there's a part there wherein you can have extra code) but that didn't work. Can anybody help me on this.

Unable to display customs document in SAP GTS
Hello,
I am using SAP GTS 7.2 Compliance services. SPL and Embargo services are working well (I am not using License determination).
Indeed, when I save a sales order in ERP, it is effectively checked for compliance, as I receive a message when it is blocked by GTS..
In GTS, I can check that concerning business partners are effectively blocked, using:
"Display Blocked Business Partners" and "Display Business Partners with Embargo Situation".
But I cannot display any customs document in SAP GTS, using transaction /SAPSLL/CUHD_DISPLAY (Display all documents) or SAPSLL/CON_BLOCKED_DOCS_EXP (Display blocked documents).
I get the following error message "No data was found for the selection criteria specified".
As I understood, SAP GTS performs the compliance checks not on ERP documents but on corresponding GTS customs document. Thus I guess they are effectively created somewhere! If it was not the case, I guess the process should not work.
When I look in the audit trail of SPL for documents, I can see all the SPL checks that have been performed. Looking in the corresponding table "/SAPSLL/SPLAUD", I can even find the numbers of the different customs documents...
But there is nothing in table "/SAPSLL/CUHD", where they should be copied... The only entries I found concern biling documents that were transferred for customs purposes...
Could you please help me on this matter?

Thank you for your fast answer. I checked in the debug mode creating a breakpoint at statement RFC and it effectively stops at RFC /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH.
But when I check the log in transaction SLG1, nothing appears concerning /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH.
I think the customs document is effectively created in GTS as I can see it has a number assigned in the audit trail for SPL screening. And compliance services work.
Though when going through the transaction of displaying all documents in GTS there is nothing. Table "/SAPSLL/CUHD" is empty (except some billing documents that were transferred for customs purposes).
This is really weird... Anyway, thank you for your help.

Displaying XML Document in new browser window
Hi,
I have a hyperlink on my page. When I click on it, it will open a new IE window and display xml document.
The new window is displaying some of the xml and at the end displaying the following:
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
End element was missing the character '>'. Error processing resource 'http://localhost:28080/benchmark/faces/displayXMLDocu...
However, I cut and paste the xml String where I write it to the HTTPServletResponse to XMLSPY and it displays correctly.

Upload and display Word Document in WD application

I have a WD ABAP appl. where the user wants to upload an Word / Excel file (from its own local drive).
The document shall be saved in SAP and it shall also be possible to display the document later in the WD application.
I implemented the UI element upload in the view, to determine the path of the document.
For the display implemented the UI element Office control.
1. When i browse the document, the properties data, filename and mime type are filled into the bound context elements of the upload UI.
2. The property datasource of the UI office control I bound to the same context element, that is also bound to the property data of the upload UI.
The office control opens a word document, but the document is empty.
Is it possible that the document is not uploaded correct?
In another application I did an upload for a PDF doc.. There I implemented the following coding as action of the button 'Upload'.

When you upload a file and save in SAP, are you saving it as xstring.
If yes follow these steps for filedownload.
Follow these steps for file download:
1 Create FileDownload uielement in your View
2.Create an Attribute of type xstring.
3.Bind this attribute to the data property of your Filedownload uielement.
4. during fileuplaod as you are saving the document in xstring format, fetch the same from your database table and pass the value to filedownload i.e set the attribute bound to data property of filedownload uielement with the xstring content. -
Unable to display results of multiple query in grid in Oracle SQL Developer
Hi, I am a newbie to this forum and couldn't find the Oracle SQL Developer forum so posting it here.
My question: How to display multiple query results in grid in Oracle SQL Developer.
Example:
select * from Employee;
select * from Department;
- when I select both the queries and hit F5 in Oracle sql developer. By default it displays in output window.
- How to display result of both the queries in Grid.
Any thoughts on this would be really helpful.

I'd say that the Results grid is designed to only show the results of 1 query at a time. I don't know/can't see how it would display multiple queries at a time.
I would suggest either joining your tables to create a single query or opening another SQL Worksheet for one of the queries so that you can display the results side-by-side.
Maybe you could explain what you're trying to do. Why are you trying to display multiple results in the same query grid? -

Currently Iam doing Smartforms for journal voucher. Iam taking multiple documents as input and displaying relavent item data for each.
Now, my requirement is i want to display invalid document numbers at selection screen level. For example there are 30 invalid document number i want to display them before start-of-selection.
