C# windows phone 8.1 Flyout questions

Question

Hi to all,
I have 1 couple of questions about Flyout
in my xaml I have a Flyout like this:
<FlyoutBase.AttachedFlyout>
<Flyout>
<StackPanel Width="200">
<TextBlock Text="Minutes" FontSize="16" />
<TextBox x:Name="MinutesValueTextBox" InputScope="Number" />
<Button Content="Add" HorizontalAlignment="Center" FontSize="16" Click="AddReminder_Click" />
</StackPanel>
</Flyout>
</FlyoutBase.AttachedFlyout>
1) how can I get the value of the MinutesValueTextBox?
2) how can I hide the Flyout ?

In my mind, one way is to use the two way binding like the following:
<TextBox x:Name="MinutesValueTextBox" Text="{Binding Text,Mode=TwoWay}" InputScope="Number" />
After that it will become easy to get the value of the MinutesValueTextBox and that is how MVVM was meant to work.

For example you have defined the following xaml:
<Grid Name="MyGrid" Background="RED" Width="100" Height="100" Tapped="MyGrid_Tapped">
<FlyoutBase.AttachedFlyout>
<Flyout>
<StackPanel Width="200">
<TextBlock Text="Minutes" FontSize="16" />
<TextBox x:Name="MinutesValueTextBox" Text="{Binding Text,Mode=TwoWay}" InputScope="Number" />
<Button Content="Add" Click="Button_Click" HorizontalAlignment="Center" FontSize="16" Click="AddReminder_Click"/>
</StackPanel>
</Flyout>
</FlyoutBase.AttachedFlyout>
</Grid>
Then we can use the Hide method to hide the Flyout as following:
FlyoutBase.GetAttachedFlyout((FrameworkElement)MyGrid).Hide();
