Cache not cleared when branching to a page with before-header branch?

I tried to make up and example in apex.oracle com.

Assign some value to items and experiment the with the buttons.
The first button:
Action: Redirect to Page in this application
Page: 112
Clear Cache: APP
Set These Items: P112_TEST_ITEM_1
With these values: 1
The second button is identical to the first except that the page it branches to is 113 instead of 112.
Page 113 has nothing more on it than a Before Header branch branching back to page 112.
Its seems a bit inconsistent that assigning values to the items survives with the before_header branch - but clearing them does not.

Welcome to my thread Varad!
As I wrote in my previous reply, the button branching to page two is part of the report and totally independent from the buttons that call the Ajax script.
The forwarding to page two takes place after item P1_SORT has been set!
I have no more ideas what is causing this problem. The item that is supposed to be bound on page two is of type text without session saving property. It doesn't have a standard value and neither an item source that could potentially cause the problem!

I recently had an update (or upgrade?) for FF 16. Today (and I believe the update was done a day or two ago?) my cache, cookies and history are not clearing when I close FF. Also, certain links are not working. Not links for full web pages but for site pop-ups (like the smilie window on a message board). They worked a few days but are not working today. I click the link and nothing happens. I noticed the problem with the cookies not clearing for a few weeks ago but it was only on one site not all sites which is what's happening now.

At any rate, have you tried running Firefox in Private Browsing mode? This will ensure that no infromation from your session is saved once you exit Private Browsing mode and/or exit Firefox.

Yosemite 10.10.1 - DNS cache does not clear when switching between WiFi networks

Before updating to Yosemite, DNS caches would clear when switching between WiFi networks, as they should.
For Example, when using an Exchange server, your server name might be something like mail.company.com. Outside of the corporate LAN the IP would resolve to the outside (WAN) address. When you move the laptop inside the corporate LAN, it should clear the cache so mail.company.com resolves to the internal (LAN) address. This is just one example of a dumb DNS transition not taking place switching from outside to inside (and vice versa).
Instead, OS X is holding onto the outside DNS record even when moving to the Corporate LAN. The only way to fix is to run the DNS cache command (which is MUCH more convoluted in Yosemite now), or more easily, to quickly turn off then turn on WiFi.
This is an irritation as I have to perform this action every morning, and every time I come back to my desk from offsite.

Well, clearing the caches is as simple as this, no?
Clear MDNS Cache
sudo discoveryutil mdnsflushcache
Clear UDNS Cache
sudo discoveryutil udnsflushcaches
One other thing: Have you tried 10.10.2? There are many many fixes in 10.10.2 over 10.10.1.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I'm using a new Wordpress theme that is meant to be responsive. The large image is for a header, than you scroll down to see the rest, one by one. Some one the pages work OK on my iPad, typically the old ones where the maximum image size was 500 x 500. It's the new pages and those I've updated that are causing the problem. On the iPad the large image loads, then a couple of the small ones become visible as I scroll down, but then darkness (rather like my knowledge level).
Being new to IOS and iPads, I'm trying to work out whether I should be looking here, or amongst the Wordpress stuff for a solution.

How to add the Note board web part to a page with powershell

Hi everyone,
I've been looking around everywhere but haven't seen it explicitly mentioned.
Does anyone know how to add the Note Board web part to a Team Site page, e.g. Non-publishing site, Left Zone, First webpart in the zone in powershell?
Examples like this one http://adicodes.com/adding-web-part-to-page-with-powershell/ only talk about custom web parts uploaded from a local drive.
The example here looks good - http://spcrew.com/blogs/lists/posts/post.aspx?id=21 but is it for the Page Viewer Web Part. How would you go about getting the correct name for the note board web part and configuring it?

The name of the Note Board web part is SocialCommentWebPart.

Page cache is clearing when it shouldn't

I have 2 pages which are like a wizard, you can hit "next" and "previous" to travel between them. They would both hold data, and the second page would have a submit button where data would be pulled from P8 and P9 together.
Now for some reason, when switching from one page to another the cache is cleared on most of the items... some retain their typed in values. These are Text areas... the page is not SET to clear. The only change I made was added a file browse item to P8. I tried reseting the file browse to different items and nothing changed.
Anyone have any clue what is going on?? Why would this just start doing this?

Furthermore... not EVERY item resets... but I've been through them all and they are all set to maintain state. There isn't anything funny in the branch which messes with certain variables.

Binding not working when returning to same page

Hi, Im developing a portlet that access some data from MYSQL.
I have a simple page with several textfields, all with bindings to a javabean object that is a property of SessionBean1 bean, so it is a Session Scope bean.
In that page I put some buttons like next, prior, etc. to navigate between all registers of my DB. I added some code to event button like this:

As Im a newbie in Java yet I really don't undestand this, I have readed all JSF life cycle documention and portlet life cycle docs but couldn't find an answer. Why binding is not working?

Thanks for this. Unfortunately now I have tried with Standard actions the links do not work at all. The links provided were created with spaces so contained within the links are lots of '%20'. e.g. :

for some reason when creating the links with standard actions, when the project is published the links have changed to contain 25s e.g.

Billing document not cleared when processing Payment cards in Sales order

Hi,
I am having an issue with Payment card processing (credit card). We are using SAP R/3 4.7. When I use manual authorization, the status of billing document still shows "A" incomplete. The status shows authorization successful but not settled in billing document.The accounting document when billed shows not cleared.We are not using any interface for credit processing. The authorization check is done outside of the system manually. We are planning to use manual authorization for all such transactions. I am not sure if any specific config is to be done or am I misssing something.
Any inputs in this regard would highly be appreciated.

Hello Sanjay,
Please also check to see if the field VBAP-ABFOR is filled for the line item (This is the Form of payment guarantee). Without this field filled the billing does not know that the item will be covered by payment cards.
VBAP-ABGES (Guaranteed (factor between 0 and 1)) should also be filled with 1.

Accounting document not cleared when billing document is cancelled.

Hi,
In ECC 6.0 when we cancel a billing document through vf11 in vfo3 we find the status as accounting document not cleared.
The general process is manually going to f-23 and clear customer line items of that invoice. After doing this the status become accounting documet is cleared.
My requirement is how to cancel the billing document without getting this message (accounting document not cleared) and not clearing the customer line items manually.
Can it be done through user exit/enhancement or by copying requirement vofm.
Please suggest.

They directly want the accounting document to
be cleared when billing document is cancelled.
Though you can achieve this with the help of ABAPer, why dont you consider having a Posting block for your billing type so that as and when the billing documents are generated, you can release it via VFX3 in bulk or VF02 for individual billing document release to FI.
In order to achieve this, go to VOFA, select your billing type and execute. There you can see a field "Posting block" where maintain a tick there and save. With this control, first of all, you can ensure that before releasing F2 billing documents to FI, it is not cancelled.

After hiighlighting a word and pasting it into another document, the clipboard does not clear ;when I hit enter it pastes again and again. How do I fix it?

When I highlight a word or phrase and copy to the clipboard, then paste it in another area the clipboard does not clear the phrase. Therefore, every time as I type and hit the enter key it continues to paste the phrase all over my document. I do have the latest download of Firefox installed (16.0, win 7 and that is when this started. How do I stop this obnoxious behavior so I can type a sentence with normalcy?

Have a look at the user status table TSOCM_STAT_PROP and see if there are any unwanted PROCESS_TYPE <> STSMA combinations.
For your process type there should only be one kind of status schema assigned.
