Cafe_townsend tutorial similiar file

I am fairly new to flash but had created a biz proposal
mimicking the cafe townsend tutorial. I created a web page to
display the swf file and uploaded it. Once uploaded, the swf file
is not pulling in the external images. I duplicated the structure
on a testing server and it works perfectly but when i post it to
our server, the background images are not showing up.
I found this page
http://livedocs.macromedia.com/dreamweaver/8/using/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?c ontext=LiveDocs_Parts&file=gs_05_a9.htm
where comments are posted about some other people having the
same issue and one guy that says he figured it out. Me and our IT
guy have been messing with this ALL DAY LONG and have not found any
way to get the images to show.
Any ideas??????

sounds like you may have crossdomain issues - serach help for

  • ADF Tutorial, missing file

I'm learning about ADF by doing the ADF tutorial step by step ( http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/ADF_tutorial_1013/ADF_tutorial.pdf ). In chapter 2-15, I need a file called CreateInterface.txt. I need it to comlete the code for SRPublicFacadeLocal. It should be part of the tutorial:
    http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/tips/muench/srdemo/SRDemoSampleADFBC_build_5.zip
However the zip file does not contain such a file. Any ideas how to overcome this problem so I can continue the tutorial?

I've found the file yet. It's in this zip file:

  • Can't read PSE7 Tutorial PDF files

When I open PSE7, there is a link on the left for Tutorials. When I select one of the PDF tutorials, it will not open. I get a message:
A sufficient version (8.1 or later) of Adobe Reader is detected, but the the version of Adobe Reader that is setup to handle PDF content is older than Reader 8.1.
Although I do have Acrobat Reader 9.0, I also have Acrobat 7.0 Professional (Writer/Creator), and I suspect that it is this latter program that is attempting to open the Tutorial PDFs.
How do I get these tutorials to open with Acrobat reader 9.0? I have tried to right click on the PDF to select a program of my choice to read the PDF, but right clicking on these tutorials does nothing.. no context menu appears.

Thanks for the reply,, but I don't think Acrobat 7 is set as the default. I checked this in the IE7 Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs -> Internet Programs -> Set Programs, and I associated PDF files with Acrobat Reader 9.0. If I double click on any PDF file I have on my system, it opens with Acrobat Reader 9.0.
The problem is that when I open PSE7, and click on the link for tutorials, then seem to be trying to use Acrobat 7, and will not open.
Is there another way of accessing these tutorials directly from the Adobe site, rather than using PSE7? For some reason, there seems to be no option in PSE7 to select Acrobat 9.0

  • Need Tutorial about file upload

    Hi folks!
Have anybody a link or something else to a tutorial for uploading files with JSF?
And i mean with the "plain" JSF RI 1.2 from Sun. Google gives me a lot of Websites with Apache myFaces and myfaces extensions, but i use facelets.
So i have to bring all the the packages together and to mutch action for my little app.
    Greetings, cpt.crispy

Using plain JSF RI 1.2 is not possible to do what you want. That's a pity!
So, you need to use an additional component library
like apache tomahawk.I know that. But what does the "additional component library" do?
Don't misunderstand me please. I want to learn how file uploads works in JSF and J2EE, not to learn some "magic" libraries.
For most Java problems you can get "additional libraries", but sometimes it's better you make it on your own to learn how it works.
    Thanks for your reply, cpt.crispy

  • Missing Oracle Reports tutorial sample files

The Oracle reports tutorial version 10.1.2, which I just downloaded along with Oracle reports, specifies where the sample files can be found in the prerequisites section. It says,
You can download these files from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Oracle Reports 10g page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/reports/index.html): click Getting Started with Oracle Reports. Navigate to the index, then click Examples. On the Examples page, you will see a link to Oracle Reports Tutorial.
There is no "Getting Started with Oracle Reports" on that web page. I've looked around for the sample files for this turorial and I can't find them. Does anyone know where they are located?

I found the sample code for the Oracle Reports tutorial. It's at:

  • Why does BTAHL7 Only works with Tutorial HL7 File?

I have been trying for days to determine the issue.
I've only been able to get the sample file in the end to end tutorial to work.  Every other HL7 file I try to parse, no matter the schema, doesn't work.  They all say "Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1."  and
the file just goes through to the send pipe as it came in.  If I change to BTAHL72XPipelines I get "Reason: Message had parse errors, can not be serialized " Even though the schemas all exist in the application as they are suppossed to.  All
I want to do is pass them through but I can't.  and the ACK/NACK statements all come through without errors and provide back to me the appropriate MHS with MSA = CA.
I found a valid HL7 file online and tried it with the appropriate schema and even that doesn't work.

    Any thoughts?

    Yes, I get various events.
EventID 4136 on the BizTalk Accelerator for HL7, and Event ID 5720 & 5754 on BizTalk Server, all three saying the message had parse errors, can not be serialize.    Also on BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 I get 8706 saying
Unable to log message "Error happened in body during parsi..." to the event log due to exception:
"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:4000".
Can anyone get the above HL7 file to parse through?

Okay, so the above error lead me to the link below which says to turn on the HL7 Logging service and then I received the following errors.

  • How do I tell my browser how to find my remote site on cafe_townsend tutorial

Worked through the tutorial in Dreamweaver 8 and everything peachy. Browser fired up everytime I hit f12. Then I got to the part where I put my local files to the remote site and now my browser can't find the URL. There are some instructions about localhost:5800 for coldfusion but not sure what it means. What or where do I enter the magic information to let my IE8 in Windows 7 know how to find my remote web sight?
I sure could use some advice....Thanks Popeyebedford1     [email protected]

I know about that tab, but the problem is that the iPod carries those preferences with it from computer to computer. I do want it to automatically update when plugged into my iBook, but I don't want it to when I plug it into the old G4. Right now my iPod is linked to two different libraries when it should only be to one. I know I can work around this by changing the preferences every time I decide to plug my iPod from one computer to the other, but it seems a little unnecessary—like there should be an easy way to just stop the synching altogether on my old computer...

  • Workflow Tutorial - missing file

    All:
I am trying out the workflow tutorial. When creating the workflow identity store, I am supposed to pick the "Person" entry type. But the Person.mcc file is missing. How do I get it or create it.
    Thanks
    S.

    Chris,
You can create the entry type. When you create the identity store do not chose anything and finish. You can go to the <Identity store> -> Idenity Store schema -> entry types -> from context menu choose new -> entry type. Give it the name "PERSON" and in the attributes tab choose all attributes that you find in "MX_PERSON".
    That should do it.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks
    S.
