Calender sync

How do i sync my ipad2 calender with my iphone?

Hello,
When you say "events", do you mean full-day items (as opposed to an item scheduled from, for example, 9am to 11am)? If so, perhaps these KBs apply:
KB20341 Calendar entries turn into all-day events, and the end date appears one day earlier on the BlackBerry smartphone after synchronization
KB26533 All day appointments created on a BlackBerry smartphone in a GMT+ time zone synchronize to the GroupWise client one day earlier
Good luck and let us know!

  • Outlook 2007 Calender Sync - Recurring Entries

    So my iTunes Calender Sync all works pretty much perfectly with all my Apple Devices other than one point;
My past recrurring entries that I have cleared daily stay on the iPhone 4s and the iPad.
These are not shown in Outlook 2007 however and it's one of those small points that bugs the **** out of me.
Any ideas for a simple fix?

OK, have been reading advice and it is most helpful, here is where I am...In options when in Calender there were 2 email address calenders, and 1 Device Default calenders. I deleted the one email that had no calender entries per "Doc ID KB19240" re multple calender entries. The other email address has only the 2 test calender entries I made (on Blackberry) after losing everything in my outlook calender when syncing after Update. The Device Default calender appears to have the 135 entries I lost. Right now the email address is syncing, but the Device Default is not. I am afraid to delete the device default calender despite the fact that the article says that all entries will be transferred to the remaining calender. I looked for help in outlook 2007 to see if it has a way to pick which of the Blackberry calenders it syncs with and have not found that yet. Ahhh as I think about it, maybe I have to delete the remaining email calender account (CICAL) and Outlook will have no option but to sync the Device Default calender. I know it sounds easy to PPL that are used to working with computers and devices, but guys like me are afraid to push the wrong button, DOH!  Let me know if you think that is the possible solution. Thank you so much, Bart  ps: If this is the solution why the heck, or how the heck did the update make desktop manager change the calender it syncs to without asking me?

  • Settings -- Calender -- Sync Option Missing | old appointments "lost"

I have a problem with my iPhone 4. In the past it was possible to adjust the time old appointments are "kept" in the calender. Unfortunately, I had to reset my iPhone and now (iOS 4.3.5) the option "Settings --> Calender --> Sync" in which I can adjust if and when my iPhone drops old appointments seem to be gone.
Does anyone know where Apple moved that option? I really need access to my old appointments.
    Best wishes,
    Marco

Hi the same problem happened to me.  If your have Icloud on your computer you can sign in and when you click  oto your claendar they should still be there.  Then plug in your Iphon with the usb cable and go to general, settingins then go into icloud and scroll down to storage and backup and click on that.  it should restore what is on your computer.
    hope it works for you

  • My iPhone calender sync to my iPhad but not the oposite

My iPhone calender sync to my iPhad but not the oposite

Use this to backup your contacts,
    https://itunes.apple.com/gr/app/my-contacts-backup/id446784593?mt=8
Then you will be safe to sync with Outlook. Remember that: Don't sync your iPhone contacts with an empty Outlook address book. If your Outlook address book is empty create a fake contact before you sync.

  • Calender sync creates duplicate entries!!

Everytime an update comes out out for either iphone or itunes, my calender sync creates duplicate entries. One of them is being duplicated for atleast 7 times.
Please guide me to resolve this issue and if there is a feedback for developers, they should try to resolve this issue in future updates.
    Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the BlackBerry Forums
I never hear this, but try this.
If you have all the correct data in outlook, my suggestion is wipe the device (all the data is erased) and synch the device again.
To wipe the device go to menu,  options, security options, general options, press menu, and wipe handheld.
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.
If your issue has been solved, please mark the post was solved.

  • Office 2010 / Office 365 Calender sync

    Hi everyone !
I have a bit of a interesting problem I have been google-ing left  right and center but everwhere I look I cant find a solution
PROBLEM : The "OUTLOOK 2010/2013" calender does not sync(Sync they dont show the same information) with the " OFFICE 365 CALENDER "
Extra information : We have over a hundred users everyone computer is doing this , We are running on Imap , E-mail's work perfectly ,
But if you create a event(meeting) in the Office 365 calender(OWA via browser) only the office 365 calender(OWA via browser) can see it , not the Outlook 2010/2013
And if you create a event(meeting) in the Outlook 2010/2013 only outlook 2010/2013 can see the event not the office 365(Owa via the browser)
But here come's the Curve ball
If I create a event(meeting) In office 365 (OWA) And Invite attendees , Both or more user's can see it in Outlook2010/2013 and office 365(OWA)
But if you you do it Via outlook ,the user that created it wont be able to see it in the office365(OWA) but the rest would be since they received a mail about it
So Since we don't want to run a POP setup.
Question : How can I get the office 365 calender(OWA) to sync with Outlook 2010/2013 if you created the event(meeting) in Outlook and vice versa?
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

    Hi,
You are running on IMAP, this is why the calendars don't sync. If the accounts are setup as POP or IMAP, calendars and contacts don't sync. For accounts setup as Exchange, Exchange ActiveSync, calendars and contacts sync between the server and
    client.
Anyway, may I know why on IMAP?
"But if you create a event(meeting) in the Office 365 calender(OWA via browser) only the office 365 calender(OWA via browser) can see it , not the Outlook 2010/2013
And if you create a event(meeting) in the Outlook 2010/2013 only outlook 2010/2013 can see the event not the office 365(Owa via the browser)"
    - This is just as I explained at the beginning, calendar items don't sync due to the IMAP setup.
"But if you you do it Via outlook ,the user that created it wont be able to see it in the office365(OWA) but the rest would be since they received a mail about it"
    - The organizer doesn't see it on OWA because it shouldn't as I said. The intendees see it on OWA since the request has been sent to the server, no matter it's sent from the Outlook client or OWA, would be processed by the server thus be displayed on users'
    calendars.
To change the IMAP setup is the only way as I can suggest on my side.

  • Calender syncing with Icloud and Maverick?

When upgrading to maverick my Calender has to sync with Icloud. The Calender has to shift to the serveraccount. But in the installment procedure it won't go past this. It is stuck in the shift. What to do??

Do a search of these forums for Calendar Connect to server never finishes. Or similar topic headers.
Also look to the right at the More Like This area. This has been covered and a work around posted in one of the threads dealing with this issue.

  • New calender sync after adding Office 365 account

    Hi,
I always had one Outlook calendar that I have syncced with my iPhone 3GS.
Now I have added a MS Office 365 account with another calender.
After adding this new account iTunes won't syncc any of two anymore.
No errors occur during sync. In iTunes I can only see one calender. On the iPhone I see both.
Are there any known problems with Office 365 / Exchange?
    Thanks for a hint.

I've never done it this way before but it might work.
You can try logging in to the Office 365 portal using your Azure AD admin account. When you get there, click on the purchase services link and add an Office 365 plan. That should integrate O365 with your current directory.

  • Calender sync 'hanging' between my iphone and office 2007 calender

Since my latest itunes software update my iphone no longer syncs with my calender set up in MS office 2007. It appears to be syncing the calender but operation never completes (have left it for up to 25 minutes) and has to be ended by my intervention. The software update may just be a coincidence but i am properly stumped none the less? Any wisdom appreciated.

Thanks for the response - unfortunately not fixed my issue but appreciated. I am not getting an error message just the sync seems to stick on calenders? Is it possible/advisbale to reverse my itunes update to the previous one which worked with my set up?

  • Windows Live Calender sync with Iphone 4 calender only. reducing it to one

Is Anyway to Make Main Iphone Calender Primary with Windows Live mail Caledner? Instead of having two seperate calenders to sync too. For example, would it be possible to sync the Windows Live Calender to my Iphone 4 Calender only. Reducing it down to one calender only. Sounds clear?
    Thanks for your input?
    Jason

    1)  It sounds like you have been using itunes match, which is a different service than icloud.  Is this true?
    2)  Without using icloud to sync data, you must manually connect a device to iTunes.

  • TS3999 Calender sync with iCloud

I have been trouble shooting my iPhone 3GS and my partners iPod as neither will sync with calender in the my cloud. I have discovered that neither have a place in Settings, Mail Contact Calender - to set the default calender. Is this deliberate or do I have a larger problem with iOS 5.1.1. nik

Scroll down in mail, contacts calendars, the calendars section should have 5 options, the bottom one being default calendar.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

Contacts are synching, however sometimes Outlook won't start with the new PST-File (main.db).

  • Filters for calender syncing

Is there a way to selectively sync the calender items from outlook. For example, in outlook I have setup recurring dummy events so that I block off time for myself. Since these are recurring events, it adds to the amount of data iphone has to sync. I'd like have a filter where the iTunes does not sync these dummy events to my phone. I guess it's a long shot, but I thought I try...

In a word, I'm fairly certain the answer is no.
The amount of data involved with this is or should be very insignificant - not worth going to any trouble over.
