Call DBAdapter created in JDEV from Eclipse?

Hi
I tried to call dbadapter created in jdev from Eclipse. It gives me the following error:
Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://localhost:9700/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd
Any say?
A schema is automatically created and I think it refers to failure to read that schema.
How to resolve this issue?

  • Directly creating text elements from eclipse

    Hi,
I just came into the situation, that I'd like to translate some strings in my source code.
The fastest solution in SAP GUI was to just double click on the string and create the corresponding text element.
In eclipse I can navigate into existing text elements, but not create them.
    Now my question:
Can I create those text elements right from eclipse?
And if not (what I think is the case):
    Why?
Because it is just not implemented yet, or because this way of translating text elements is obsolete and I missed something?
    Regards David

    Hi David,
we want to provide this feature via the Quick Fix functionality in Eclipse.
That means in future you can position the cursor on the Number and yyou press CTRL-1 (Quick Fix).
In the upcoming popup you can choose 'Create Textelement' and the element will be created.
This kind of functionality already exists for creating classes, methods or function modules directly from the usage position.
We are currently working oin this little improvement so that I'm optimistic to ship this feature with one of the next versions.
    Regards,
    Thomas.

  • Cannot create OSB project from Eclipse

I am working with OSB after a while. I have installed OSB and webgic server. When I have installed OSB the Oracle Enterprise pack for Eclipse has been installed.
Now, when I am trying to create an OSB project from Eclipse. But when I am doing File-->New-->OSB Configuration Project, it gives error message:
The selected wizard could not be started.
Plug-in "com.bea.alsb.ui" was unable to instantiate class "com.bea.alsb.ui.wizards.NewALSBContainerWizard".
    com/bea/alsb/core/containers/exceptions/ContainerException
Do I need to Install anything else?

I resolved this issue. First, I installed WebLogic Server with Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.3) + Coherence + OEPE (dowload here) and then, installed Oracle Service Bus v. 11.1.1.3.0. (download here ).
When install OSB, be sure to select the oepe that is located inside the middleware directory.
Doing these steps, after these installations, on path "Middleware directory/oepe_11gR1PS2" is the eclipse.exe. If you executed this file, it seems that the problem is resolved when try to create an osb project.

  • Calling a created Java file from an AIR application

I've got a guy helping me out who is creating a Java file that outputs an F1 keypress to the operating system/desktop (which Flex alone can't do.
My problem is I need to know how I can call/activate this file from within an AIR application. I want my app to be ready for when he has created it for me but I've never used Flex to call an application so I would not know what classes need to be called or if any script would be required.
In the following simple code lets say if the Java file itself was called keypress.java (or whatever file extension a java file has) what code would need to be added in, including imported classes, to make the click of the button activate this java file?
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <mx:WindowedApplication xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute">
    <mx:Button id="KeypressButton" label="Button" horizontalCenter="0" verticalCenter="0" click=""/>
    </mx:WindowedApplication>

I think one solution is to use a Java proxy to call the Web services.
In the Java proxy you can have a method that accepts the user/pass and sets them correctly for the Web service.
Then you expose that Java proxy as a data control (right click, create data control) - and then create a page that invokes that method.
(For the basics of working with a POJO data control see: http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/2009/07/java_class_data_control_and_ad.html )

  • Invoking JDev bpel process from Eclipse BPEL Process?

Is it possible to invoke a bpel process (with dbadapter) developed in JDev from a bpel process created in Eclipse (Designer)?

    I was unsuccessful.
    Scenario:
I was trying to invoke jdev bpel process (that had a database adapter to update the database) from Eclipse bpel process (since we do not have adapters in Eclipse designer).
The namespace wasn't known by Eclipse( some schema missing?) and therefore we couldn't compile it.

    Hi all,
I'm trying to export some data out of SF to an 3rd party via a web service. In the webUI I have the possibility(Attachment 1) to create a schema from web service so my outgoing file matches the requirements. In Eclipse I cannot find that option and I'm encoutering some errors (attachement 2).
Can anyone tell me if there is a possibility like the web UI in eclipse?

  • Calling Web Service passing xml from Oracle Forms

    Hello,
I need to call a .net web service from Oracle Forms that passes in xml data and returns xml data.
I have seen several examples of how to create a wrapper in jdev and then to import the code
into forms. I just have not seen any examples that are passing parmameters especially not xml
as a parameter and that have an active wsdl that I can see how it relates to the code created.
I have a wrapper but cannot figure out where and what notation to use to include passing in
    an xml object.
Does anyone have an example passing in xml where the wsdl is still available to see?'

Also here you have several options...
    1. you can make a PJC (bean) which include a webservice stub generated with axis (you can make a stub and also test a webservice with this tool: www.soapui.org)..
    2. you can make a database webservice with JPublisher and then just call a pl/sql wrapper for this webservice
    4. you can call a webservice with java api (HttpsURLConnection, HttpURLConnection or with apache HTTPClient api) from your PJC for example:
the code below is used as java stored procedure to call a .net webservice on https

  • How to create JSF application from xsd files?

    Hi,
We have many xsd files describing xml's which we are supposed to send to web services. Application which we are creating should allow user to fill xml documents with data and then we should send those xml files to some web service. We want to automatize as much as possible the process of application creation to avoid possible errors and to minimize our efforts (there are plenty of quite complex xsd files).
Our first approach was: we used Oracle JSXB to generate java classes basing on xsd files (using JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.0.4066). Then we tried to generate DataControls, but this action fails with following error:
Window title: Error in init bean
Message: Could not complete initbean because it would result in an invalid document
Details: oracle.bali.xml.model.XmlInvalidOnCommitException: SEVERE: Wartość atrybutu Name nie jest typu ID (Value of Name attribute is not of ID type)
Wartość musi być następującego typu: (Value must be of following type)
    Nazwa typu: ID (Type name)
    Typ pierwotny: string (Primitive type)
Z następującymi więzami: (With following constraints)
zgodne z wzorcem: [\i-[:]][\c-[:]]* (Compliant with template)
    [ node = Name ]
    <JavaBean version="10.1.3.40.66" id="XSLStylesheet" BeanClass="oracle.xml.xslt.XSLStylesheet" Package="oracle.xml.xslt" isJavaBased="true">
    <Attribute Name="classMethodParams" IsUpdateable="0" Type="java.util.Hashtable" />
We tried Sun implementation fo JAXB - it generated different java classes (with annotation mechanism). Creation of DataControls using those classes was successful. Then we created simple JSF page and tried to put those DataControls on it in order to let the user fill it with data. The thing is that those controls are read only as there is no row created in those DC. We can't create any row in those DC as there are only 'commit' and 'rollback' operations. When we try to call 'CreateInsert' operation on child elements of those DC we get error in JDeveloper log window:
    2007-05-29 10:08:46 oracle.adf.controller.faces.lifecycle.FacesPageLifecycle addMessage
    WARNING: JBO-29000: DataControl:createRowData
    2007-05-29 10:08:46 oracle.adf.controller.faces.lifecycle.FacesPageLifecycle addMessage
    WARNING: DataControl:createRowData
new row is not created and controls are still read-only.
    The question is:
    1. is there another, more efficient way to create JSF application from xsd files?
    2. if this is the best way to do it, what do we do wrong?
    Leszek

To anyone who might find it useful: our solution to mentioned problem.
Few tips how to solve described problem:
    1. Do not use JAXB (we checked Oracle and Sun)
    2. Use castor http://www.castor.org/
    a) for each xsd generate java files in separated package
    b) use java 1.5 to let castor generate lists
    c) use mapping of xml namespaces to java packages to have only 1 implementation of each xsd
    3. Create facades - java files for you root-level java objects
    4. Right click those facades and choose 'Create DataControl' in jdev
    5. Now you may drag and drop you DataControls and use them in your JSF (or UIX) application
I hope it will help someone :)

  • Migrating from Eclipse/Ant/MyFaces Trinidad to using JDeveloper--need help

I recently downloaded JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0. Several years ago, I used JDev to do some very simple JSP/servlet development with no formal framework. Times have changed a lot.
For the past few years, I have been developing server-side Java web apps using Eclipse JEE and Ant (ie, everything is set up so that the developer does not depend on the IDE). We currently implement web apps using Apache MyFaces Trinidad JSF components (but not Facelets). Any developer here can check out our code and simply run Ant to build the projects--no need to even have Eclipse installed. Anyone here can build and develop with a text editor and Ant, if they prefer.
I am impressed and yet overwhelmed by the robust functionality of the latest JDev--so impressive, but I feel almost a bit too removed from "seeing" what is going on in the code and deployment. I like the notion of drag-and-drop along with wizards, but I want to also know how the JDev project is set up manually; ie, where everything goes, without having to guess on this. I get the impression that I need to learn, very specifically, the framework of ADF. But unfortunately, the tutorials seem to focus on only using the wizards and drag-drop functionality.
For example, how do I set up JDev to build a project only by running Ant using my properties files and build.xml? This is trivial to do in Eclipse by specifying the Project Builder. Is there some similar setting I can use in JDev?
Is there full compatibility with Trinidad--didn't Oracle make the original Trinidad?
Has anyone posted advice on migrating from Eclipse JEE to JDev?
Sorry if this is an old set of questions; if I had known where to search for this information, I would not be posting this thread.
    Many thanks!
    Mike Quentel

The basic steps for bringing your existing code into JDeveloper are:
Import->WAR File - or alternatively create a new application and in it create a new projects->project from existing source
The next couple of steps have to do with setting the project properties:
Then you need to set up your project content path (specifically things like Web content and resources content)
Then you need to add the jars/libraries in your project classpath and libraries.

  • Create XML file from ABAP with SOAP Details

    Hi,
I am new to XML and I am not familiar with JAVA or Web Service. I have searched in SDN and googled for a sample program for creating XML document from ABAP with SOAP details. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything.
I have a requirement for creating an XML file from ABAP with SOAP details. I have the data in the internal table. There is a Schema which the client provided and the file generated from SAP should be validating against that Schema. Schema contains SOAP details like Envelope, Header & Body.
My question is can I generate the XML file using CALL TRANSFORMATION in SAP with the SOAP details?
I have tried to create Transformation (Transaction XSLT_TOOL) in SAP with below code. Also in CALL transformation I am not able to change the encoding to UTF-8. It's always show UTF-16.

In ABAP program, I have written below code for calling above Transformation.
      call transformation ('Z_ID')
           source tab = im_t_output[]
           result xml xml_out.
      call function 'SCMS_STRING_TO_FTEXT'
        exporting
          text      = xml_out
        tables
          ftext_tab = ex_t_xml_data.
Please help me how to generate XML file with SOAP details from ABAP. If anybody have a sample program, please share with me.
Is there any easy way to create the XML file in CALL Transformation. Please help.
    Thanks

  • For existing data in BI, client need to take a call to park the same from s

    hi,
    friends,
For existing data in BI, client need to take a call to park the same from safety point view by copying the existing ODS
is it possible?if it is possible give me details.
    thanks&regurds

    hi,
well when you copy an ODS only the structure is copied. to load the data you might need to create transformation and DTp to load data in the new ODS.
You need to load data manually. Copying the ODS will only copy the structure.

  • Calling a newly deployed EJB from an EJB gives a NoSuchMethod Exception if the jar of the newly deployed ejb is not in the classpath

    Hi ,
I have an EJB A which is already deployed when the server starts. A second ejb
B is deployed at a later time.
EJB A calls methods in EJB B. I use reflection in EJB A to call methods in EJB
    B.
I get a NoSuchMethodException when I call the create method in the Home object
of EJB B. If I add the ejb jar file to the classpath before the server starts
then it is able to resolve the method.
The problem is the EJBs which are called from EJB A is not known before the server
is started. New EJBs can be deployed at runtime and EJB A should be able call
the methods in newly deployed EJB's.
I also use the URLClassLoader to load all the classes in the jar file of the newly
deployed EJB in EJB A and it still gives a NoSuchMethodException because it cannot
    resolve the stub class.
My error log is shown below.
    This is an urgent issue.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I am attaching a test case. This test case actually demonstrates a security bug.
Unzip the file and modify the StartWeblogic.cmd in domainA to not refer to the
SampleRemoteEJB.jar in the classpath. If u run the test client under the client
dir u will see a NoSuchMethodException.
The reason is it is not able to load the dynamically generated stub file.
Initially I had the getMethod and it didn't work. You might have to modify the
files to suit ur env. The easier way is to run th edomain wizard and create 2
domains. Run the servers in development mode and place the jars under the applications
    dir
    Thanks

Do you have any old EJB classes in your classpath? Did you recompile

    Hmmmm. That's an interesting problem.
Why is it giving you a NoSuchMethodException instead of a
    ClassNotFoundException?
Can you post the code from SampleConctorEJB.java, line 181?
Try changing your call to getDeclaredMethod() to getMethod().
getDeclaredMethod() searches only the class you called it on, whereas
getMethod() traverses to the superclasses and interfaces. You onlyneed
getDeclaredMethod() when you're accessing a nonpublic method.
Not sure if this will help, but it's worth a shot.
