Call executable argument with multiple expressions

I'm using the "call executable" step type in TS 4.2. My normal command line works with windows [sflashldr com1 w 0 config.cfg binary.bin] where the bin file flashes my chip according to the cfg. I think that this is a multiple argument expression... TestStand returns "cannot open file".
How should the argument expression be configured?

Is that the whole error message? If not it would be useful for us to see the entire error message.

Current procedure can only display one picture per person, however, I am supposed to write a new procedure which displays multiple pictures for one person. When user click a button on report, APEX should call this procedure and returns next picture of the same person. The table is SOR_image. However, I rewrite the HTML expression as follows to test to display the second image.

But it never works. It is strange because even I use exactly same code as before but change procedure name, Oracle APEX cannot display an image. I need to make multiple calls to a same webservice (URL) which have multiple methods on its WSDL. I know it is possible in PI 7.1. But is it possible in PI 7.0?

Test using SOAPUI or XMLSPY and use that same WSDL URL in the target URL of Communication channel. Just to make sure you use the right endpoint.
or
You can specify the method name as soap action dynamically using udf in mapping and see how it behaves.

ADF page calling Web Service with multiple params the right way

I am using JDev 11.1.1.4.0.
I have an email notification web service that takes 4 parameters, from, to, subject and body. What I need to do is at the end of each 'Commit', call this web service to send notification to a group of audiences telling them a new record has been created. Following are steps I took to make it work:
1. Created a web service data control using the email notification WSDL.
2. Drag-and-Drop the data control on jspx page as ADF Parameter form.
3. Set Panel Form Layout's Visible property to 'False' so the controls doesn't show.
4. In a backingbean where method 'onSave()' is, I put the code to call the web service.

Hi,
As you have dropped a method in the JSPX page as a parameter form, it adds unnecessary UI components, that you will NOT be using.
Instead of making the panelFormLayout visible property to false, delete it from the UI page.
Thus, you would have only the required method binding and the parameters defined as attribute values in the pageDef - which is as expected.
While deleting the panelFormLayout, delete it manually from the page source and doNOT delete thru the structure pane as it would delete the bindings as well.

Is it possible to load transaction with multiple batch_source_name??

Hi,
I am calling 'Autoinvoice Master Program' for creating transactions in my custom package.
I have 15 lines in my data file. They are invoices, credit memos, debit memos with different batch_source_name.
Import program is picking tranasctions with any one of batch_source_name & update the base table.
15 lines are populated in interface(ra_interface_lines_all) but base table (ra_customer_trx_all) populated with few line.
Is it possible to load transactions & call the AutoInvoice with multiple batch_source_name in one data file ??
Please help me on this issue.

I cannot find a method to achieve this. You may try to create a new contact folder and copy the contacts you want to use to the new contact folder, and then mail merge from the newly created contact folder.

Using Quotation Mark in an Argument in Call Executable

Hello all,
I am trying to use Call Executable to do what I would normally do in CMD like this:
C:\My Document\My_Prog.exe "C:\My Document\file1.tch" "C:\My Document\file2.tch"
The two argument locations are stored in a locals.filename1 and locals.filename2.
I don't know how to make sure that the arguments are sent in that exact format with the quotation marks.

If the local variables do not contain quotes in them, the argument expression would be:

For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud."

i would like to build a page with multiple forms linked to one table (orders) , the page has 4 from each one with different order_id number (depending on filtering), and if the order is prepared click yes for each order and this 'YES' should be UPDATED AND SAVED to each order number in the same table with the press of one button.
i created all the form as (sql query)
and create one update process

I am no Apex expert, but with a situation as "complex" as yours, have you thought about creating a VIEW that joins these 7/8 tables, placing an INSTEAD OF trigger on that view to do all the business logic in the database, and base your application on the view?
This is the "thick-database" approach that has been gaining momentum of late. The idea is to put your business logic in the database wherever possible, and let the application (Form, Apex, J2EE, whatever) concentrate on UI issues,

BaseTableName blank when calling GetSchema on a query with multiple tables

I am using ODP.NET 11.2.0.3.0 and when calling GetSchemaTable on a DataReader that contains a join the returned SchemaTable has the BaseTableName and BaseColumnName fields blank - this is different than what I see with the Oracle OLE DB Provider and with how SQL Server's native provider works. I can't find any discussion of this - is this on purpose or is it a bug? why does the available schema information vary so drastically between a single table query and a query with multiple tables joined?

Hello,
Put whatever you need to do in a method of the BO associated with the workflow,
and then create a task (TS....) that calls that method. Then the step in the
workflow calls that task.
To call a report as you describe I'd guess you'd need to do a SUBMIT with BDC data.

I do not exactly understand what you mean, but what i already did:
- I checked that the fields are from the same type.
- KUNNR is initialized! I already had a look to the debugger, that's why i'm posting this in this forum.
any more comments on this ?
maybe i have to change anything in the z-transaction. Btw, this is what the parameter looks like in the transaction:
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK Debitoren WITH FRAME TITLE text-001.
PARAMETERS pkunnr type kna1-kunnr OBLIGATORY.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK Debitoren.

Executing query with arguments- issue when parameter value contains '&'

My application inserts 'First name', last name' and last upd date to the table. it inserts all the data properly. Next level I access the information along with other tables using same arguments. But it is not fetching any data. I noticed it happens whenever the '&' is included in the parameter (first name). eg:
'Margaret & John'. From the logs I noticed that first name it is not taking what I passed. It just stripping the first name from '&' onwards and taking only 'Margaret'. Here is the example from the log. You could notice only 'Margaret' instead of 'Margaret & John' in place of first argument.

Hi Reddy,
from the log it looks like the DbAdapter received the value as 'Margaret '. Because parameter binding is used by default, the database shouldn't try to interpret the & as it is inside a bind variable.
Could it be that the & is getting dropped somewhere else? Marc was suggesting you put that value inside a CDATA section or escape it. He probably showed that but when he hit Post Message it displayed the escaped & as &. I think we should find out where that & got dropped though. Normally BPEL will preserve it.
