Calling a Apps workflow through BPEL?

Hi ~
Can you please tell me how to invoke Oracle Apps seeded Workflows(Ex. AP -Invoice Approval WF or OM Workflow) from BPEL?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Vijay,
Actuall i just want the script of executing procedure from a package for fetching records from database in a bpel process.
I'm not having the technical ability about how to create a package and a procedure and then use it in a bple process.
Forward me if you know any link for creating packages and procedures.
Regards,
Chakri

  • Click 2 Call and Call Recording Apps for Surface R...

    I think I know the answer to this, but it doesn't appear that Click to Call is a feature that is available for those of us on Surface RT.  Additionally, I can't find any of the call recording apps available through the skype site.  Anyone have any input on this?

    Hi and welcome to the Skype Community,
    1. Unfortunately "Click to call" is not available on Safari for iPad because the Safari Web Browser in iOS does not support the concept of plug-ins (like Safari on Mac does). That means Skype cannot hook into the browser to extend the functionality.
    2. Just so I understand you correctly: You want phone numbers in Emails highlighted in the desktop application "Outlook 2013" as well, correct?

  • API for creating new User in Oracle E-Business Suite through BPEL

    Hello,
    I would like to use a BPEL process to create a new User in Oracle E-Business Suite. In the Integration Repository I was able to find an API called FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW that creates/updates Application's User data. Is this the API I should be using? If so, I would like to better understand how to use this API.
    I have created a simple BPEL process and added an Oracle Application Service, which uses this FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW API. I set the following parameter before Invoking the Oracle Application Service: X_USER_NAME, X_ENCRYPTED_USER_PASSWORD and X_START_DATE. When I run the BPEL process I get the following error. I suspect that I am not passing all the required input parameters. Does anyone have any sample data I can use to get this API to load correctly? If I am using the wrong API, please let me know.
    Please note, I have also posted this question to the SOA Suite and BPEL discussion forums...
    Thank you kindly!
    Christine

    Hello and thank you for your response. I am new to using APIs so please excuse my inexperience... I am not sure how to run the API outside of BPEL... Is that something you could easily walk me through?
    I have made the following changes in BPEL based on your recommendation: 1) Added Oracle Application Service and used the API, LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER, found in the Oracle Application Module Browser* under: Applications Technology (ATG_PF)&gt; User Management (UMX)&gt; User (FND_USER)&gt; PLSQL&gt; User (FND_USER_PKG)&gt; LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER
    2) Set the following parameter prior to Invoking the Oracle App Service: X_USER_NAME, X_UNENCRYPTED_PASSWORD,X_START_DATE, X_END_DATE, X_DESCRIPTION, X_EMAIL_ADDRESS, X_FAX, X_EXPIRE_PWD.
    3) Deploy and run BPEL through BPEL Control.
    I get the following {color:#ff0000}error on the Invoke{color}. {color:#339966}Do you see any issues with the values I am passing in the input{color}? Any idea why I am getting this error? Is there anything that I need to have configured for the API to work correctly, other than adding an Oracle Application Service in the BPEL?
    Thank you for your time,
    Christine

    commit work.

    Hi Chandri,
    You can firstly check whether the code you have written below is triggering the BO event or not by switching on the trace using transaction SWELS , then running the transaction (dialog program mentioned below). After, switch off the trace and then view the trace from transaction SWEL.
    Your BO and event should show up in the trace.

  • Create Accounts Payable Invoice in Oracle Applications through BPEL

    We are trying to create Invoice in Oracel Application R 12.04. The following are the steps we followed.
    Facts of the case:
    1. Define services in BPEL- Parameters, Assign and Invoke E business Suite and Call back and other required things all are defined. No issues.
    2. iRep data configuration completed successfully. No issues.
    3. Populate the Ap_Invoices_interface table with new records to be imported . No issues.
    4. Invoke the services ( Defined per step1) through BPEL.
    5. I see all the input parameter values in the BPEL log other than one. For one parameter SUB_REQUEST, I gave '0' as the value.
    Issue:
    Able to call the services to BPEL. BPEL log does not show any error. However, I don't see any process is being submitted, eventhough Ap Invoice interface table has new records to be imported.
    Where do I get the complete configuration to Integrate BPEL with E'Business AP Invoice Import progams.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Gops

    I am expecting the BPEL to 'call' the oebs import job. That is the issue.
    If I run the Oebs Import job manually, then invoice is created.
    Note : I would assume that Oebs Import job, you mean is , Oracle E business Suite Import job.
    Thanks

    Hello,
    Can you call the same WS from ODI (through a data server test)?
    I think you should post the WSDL file generated by the data service to the BPEL Forum.
    There must be something BPEL does not like in the WSDL.

  • How to pass multiple parameters to DB adapter through BPEL process?

    Hi All
    I have created a BPEL process in which I am using invoke activity to call DB package.procedure having multiple parameters.Once the package gets executed it shows me custom exception message as input parameters are showing null values inside the package.
    When I see the audit flow in BPEL instance , it shows correct values against each parameter in BPEL process.
    Anybody know about this problem? why DB package is not able to read input parameters send through BPEL process?
    Regards
    Yogi

    Hi Chintan
    Thanks for your reply.
    Here is my procedure call. For these input and output parameters I have created variables @ BPEL process. Those variables are accepting values correctly.
    PROCEDURE custom_po_proc(
    p_return_status OUT VARCHAR2,
    p_error_code OUT VARCHAR2,
    p_error_desc OUT VARCHAR2,
    p_debug IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT 'N',
    p_lgcy_trxn_num IN VARCHAR2,
    p_trxn_type IN VARCHAR2,
    p_operation IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
    p_po_number IN VARCHAR2,
    p_line_num IN VARCHAR2,
    p_org_code IN VARCHAR2,
    p_quantity IN NUMBER,
    p_user_name IN VARCHAR2);
    I just have one DB adapter based on above procedure.
    How do I increase the logging level, have not done that before.

  • Calling a child workflow

    Hi All,
    I have slightly twisted version of the calling child workflow problem.
    I have one parent workflow & 4 child workflows. Parent workflow has to call
    a child workflow during run time. But the crux is parent workflow has to
    decide on the run time which of the child workflows to invoke & call the
    appropriate workflow accordingly.
    Now the current WLI UI allows me to select the child workflow from a
    drop-down kinda interface where all the "callable workflows" appear we have
    to select one of them. Which is in a sense a hard coding of which child w/f
    to call.
    What I want is to select at the run time which of the child w/fs to invoke
    then invoke them accordingly.
    Is it possible to select the w/f to be called at run time ? If yes then how
    Has anybody done something similiar ?
    thanx in advance for help.

    Hi
    There are ways to do this. You could have cascading decision nodes which
    decide which workflow to call (order by frequency). In this case you could
    fall through to then next one if it is false. So you use a variable, based
    on variable take the appropriate path

    When sending email from the Mail App or through other Apps on my iPad, my default From: address will change when I enter a To: address.  This sometimes leads me to send the email from the wrong outgoing email account.  It is frustrating and poor design, especially since I had already checked the From: address.
    iPad 4 running iOS 8.1.3

    3rd party email addresses have to be deleted on every synmced mac product, although I have 1and1.co.uk and my imac updatetes the mails in that account from mac mail.
    Yahoo etc is a 2 step deleting process but good to get your emails pushed when on the go.

  • Iphone 5: Incoming Calls won't go through.

    Hello everyone,
    I purchased the Iphone 5 about 1-2 weeks ago and so far i love it. However as of recently i've been expeirencing a few issues where incoming calls won't go through.
    I'll try my best to break it down:
    Someone calls me.
    Phone "rings" on their side.
    My iPhone doesn't ring.
    I get no notification of a missed call, and maybe a few minutes later i'll be alerted to a missed call or a voicemail.
    I've tested various things that i assume would cause the issue, but so far none of them seem to be the case.
    I even went to Verizon (a few minutes ago actually) and they did a soft-reset (pretty much what i did prior) and soon as i got home i called the phone and nothing went through. I waited about a minute, called again, and then i rang. However seconds later i tried calling again, and it didn't ring.
    Also it happens are random times. First insident was a few nights ago around 10 PM. Then again a few days ago around 3 PM and finally this morning around 8-8:30 AM.
    No my "Do not disturb" isn't on.
    I have good (if not great) connection.
    At home the phone is always on WiFi
    Yes i've tried turning off LTE.
    Yes i've done a network reset.
    Yes, phone is up to date.
    One question i have is could it be only having this issue at my house? I have no way of testing if it only happens at my home (cause no one really has that kind of time to waste with me lol) so i'm not sure.

        I want to ensure those important calls get through Huxable! I understand why you are concerned!
    My first recommendation would be to make sure you are power cycling the device(turning off and on) at least once a day. This allows the device to refresh with the network and update the tower information on 4G handsets.
    Second, it will definitely be valuable to test the device in different locations to determine whether it is a location issue versus an equipment issue. If this happens in multiple locations for example, it is likely device related.
    If you find the issues occur mainly inside your home, the network extender accessory is an excellent option to boost indoor signal strength.

  • Refresh document call in RESTful workflow is taking long time.

    Hi,
    I am facing an issue with the Refresh Document step, in Raylight Workflow using RESTful API.
    We are using this Refresh Document call, To make the dataprovider mappings formed.
    For few WEBI documents, this Refresh document step is taking much time to complete. After some investigation, we got to know that there are a series of SQL scripts running against actual data source, for each Refresh Document call. If the SQL script is taking much time, then the refresh document call is taking much time as well.
    Up to now, we are able to solve this problem in some cases, Like below.
    1. For a WEBI Document with Contexts to Answers during Refresh Document:
    Ex:
    Method: PUT
    URI: http://localhost:6405/biprws/raylight/v1/documents/1111/parameters
    Request Body: (setting default Context)
    <parameters>
      <parameter>
        <id>3</id>
        <answer>
          <values>
            <value id="4">Context1</value>
          </values>
        </answer>
      </parameter>
    </parameters>
    Result: Success (No Time out Exception)
    2. For a WEBI Document with some prompts to Answers during Refresh Document:
    Ex:
    Method: PUT
    URI: http://localhost:6405/biprws/raylight/v1/documents/1111/parameters
    Request Body: (With Some Dummy Values)
    <parameters>
      <parameter type="prompt" optional="true">
        <id>1</id>
        <answer type="Text">
          <values>
            <value id="1">Dummy Text</value>
          </values>
        </answer>
      </parameter>
      <parameter type="prompt" optional="true">
        <id>3</id>
        <answer type="Numeric">
          <values>
            <value id="1">0</value>
          </values>
        </answer>
      </parameter>
    </parameters>
    Result: Success (No Time out Exception)
    3. For a WEBI Document with No prompts and No Contexts to Answers during Refresh Document:
    Ex:
    Method: PUT
    Request Body: (Empty)
    Result: Time Out Exception (from my C# code)
    Only In this scenario (3) i am facing issue, As I have no answers to set any default values to Parameters. So the SQL scripts are executing. Due to this, if there is any time taking scripts, then the Refresh document step is taking much time or even throwing Time out exception from my C# code. I tried by increasing the timeout for WebRequest in C#, But still not solved.
    For creation of a WEBI document, Can we skip the SQL scripts, running in Refresh Document API call?
    If yes, then please let me know your valuable ideas to solve my problem.
    Please let me know for more information.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks,
    Mahendra

    Hi Anthony,
    Yes, I tried creating same WEBI Document using Web Intelligence Rich Client and also using Web Intelligence from BI Launch Pad.
    On both WEBI Clients I am able to create the same WEBI Document, which I am trying to create using RESTful API.
    My observations are like below:
    Observation 1: After selecting required Result Objects/columns in Query Panel, by clicking on Close -> Apply Changes and Close button, I can create the WEBI Document and Save it successfully.
    Observation 2: After selecting required Result Objects/columns in Query panel, If I click on Run Query, It is taking much time to bring fresh data.
    Just like in my first observation, I am only looking for creating WEBI Documents successfully, without bringing fresh data. It is enough for me, If I can create the WEBI documents from RESTful API successfully. Here I am not looking for any fresh data from this Refresh Document step, except the dataprovider mappings.
    As mentioned in my previous reply, Without dataprovider mappings, we are unable update Report Specification. For this, to make the dataprovider mappings formed, we are using this Refresh Document step, After updating dataprovider specification
    Is this Refresh Document call required in Workflow?
    Please suggest me if any other REST API Call, that I can use to get the dataprovider mappings formed, other than Refresh Document step.
    Thanks in advance. Currect me if I am wrong.
    Thanks,
    Mahendra
