Calling a style from an XML through Flash

Ok, so here's the situation. I want my Flash button to call a URL from an XML that then opens up a AJAX window (like lightbox or multibox) over the page. So the user clicks on Flash and a AJAX pop up appears. I've set up the popups, I'm using facebox (which is really nice). They way the do this is by creating an ID DIV like below:

TITLE

CONTENT

This will make the pop up say "TITLE" and then "CONTENT".
Now to call this pop up, the looks like:
OPEN POP UP
So... now I have a Flash that can call to XML and get a URL. The problem is when I put "#world1div" in the url portion of the XML, it doesn't work. How do I call this ID from XML?

Try wrapping it in a CDATA tag.

#world1div

You can not download from a flash drive. You can do over the air, or you can connect your iPhone to your computer and download iOS 8.1 via iTunes.

There is no built in mechanism to call Oracle Forms from Oracle Reports. Usually, customers want to call Reports from Forms which is a built-in feature of Forms using Run_report_object.

Thanks for your reply. It would be very useful for customers like us, if Oracle can incorporate such a facility in the newer versions of Reports.

• Calling a Report from Bapi

Dear all,
I am trying to create a customer from external system through bapi. For this is i have to follow these steps.
1) I am trying to call a report from external system through bapi.
2) I want to pass data from bapi to a bdc program and run it to create a customer.
3) After creating a customer I need to send the ceated customer no again to the bapi from where i passed the data to bdc.
is it possible .
Give me a good idea on this how to work with it.
Regards,
Madhu.

Hi Madhu,
SAP has already given standard BAPI to create customer creation "BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA". So there is no need for you to create any thing new. Jut test this BAPI first whether this suit your requirement or not. If it satisfy your requirement then call it directly from external system. On how to call this BAPI or other BAPis searc google or SDn you will definetaly find something.
second approach is if nothing works for you( No BAPI satisfy your requirement) then only go for BDC aapproach. To do that, create a RFC function module( BAPi and RFC FM are diff thing, they looks same but they are not ). Inside your RFC FM directly write the BDC code to create customer.

• Sliding Flash Interface - Using Links from an XML file Problem

Hi All,
Working on a new site for the company i've recently started
working for... fairly new to flash but wanted to try this sliding
interface for the graphic banner at the top of the page...
have a look here at an early version of the site - sliding
graphic interface at the top with coloured rollover buttons (a lot
of work still to do! feel free to post constructive criticism)
(am I allowed to post links??)
here is the unfinished version with no links in the flash bit
http://www.westfieldhealth.com/website/index.asp
The Problem:
I am pulling in a 'heading' 'text' and 'image' into the
sliding graphic interface from the following xml file... (there are
4 different xml files for 4 different slides)

<dialogue>
<heading>Interested in selling our health
plans?</heading>
<text>Click here to learn more...</text>
home_window/intSmall.jpg
</dialogue>

I want to add a link to the xml that would be specific to
each instance of the window...
eg

But my limited knowledge of flash means I have no idea how to
pull the link through from the xml file to use in the flash...
Perhaps I need link text to pull as well
eg
<link-text>click here to contact us</link-text>
Here is the function that pulls in the img, heading and txt
public function onComplete(event:Event):void {
var loader:URLLoader = event.target as URLLoader;
if (loader != null) {
externalXML = new XML(loader.data);
mover_mc.heading_txt.htmlText =
externalXML.dialogue[0].heading;
mover_mc.myText_txt.htmlText = externalXML.dialogue[0].text;
var url:URLRequest = new
URLRequest(externalXML.dialogue[0].img);
myLoader.load(url);
} else {
trace("loader is not a URLLoader!");
Can anyone help me on how to pull in the link from the xml
and use it to navigate to a different page on the site
Thanks very much
Hans
link to
my unfinished flash file...

What is the exact error you get (what db version also), could you post a simplified version of the SQL which fails also? I have splitter based maps that successfully read from file via the XMLType(bfilename....) style code and insert into multiple targets, I did this on 11g though.
Cheers

What do you mean html layers? You can call JavaScript on the

You should be able to add that data into your xml tags and then extract it in the AS2 onLoad function...
XML:
<icons>
<icon image="icon1.png" tooltip="Planning" linkURL="http://www.someURL.com/somePage.html" />
AS2:
xml.onLoad = function()
etc....
t.onEnterFrame = mover;
t.toolText = nodes[i].attributes.tooltip;
t.urlLink = nodes[i].attributes.linkURL;
etc...
