I have a LinkToActionUI Element and i have a custom TCODE which i need to call on the click event of LinktoActionUI element,
is there any other way to call a TCODE from WDA

Created a TCODE for my ABAP Dynpro Application and from there[within SAP session] the following code works, but NOT from the browser
In your action use the following code.

Goto SICF.
Select the path as : /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
right click on webgui and click on "test" to execute the servies.it will open the sap screen in web browser.
**NOTE : if it gives an error you need to do some setting Reply if you want the steps for setting.**
create LINK to URL or LINK TO ACTION according to requirement.
use URL as URL = 'http://<url>:portno/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~TRANSACTION=SE38'. //

u r passing "high" value and in "option u r passing "EQ" so how it will work!!!
So if u r passing only 1 date or more dates like 01.01.2010 , 15.02.2010 , 10.03.2010 then pass
rspar_line-selname = 'SO_BUDAT'.

rspar_line-sign = 'I'.
rspar_line-option = 'EQ'.

i think u cannot use "call transaction using bdcdata" in ur case bcoz as u said in ur 1st post u want to display the details of all but still if u want to use then u should pass all parameters in loop.

Call BADI on click of a submit button in ESS

Hi All,
I am trying to call a function module ( i.e through BADI ) in a different browser by clicking on a submit button in Travel & Expenses Iview in ESS ( EP 6.0 ) but i didn't see any new window/ browser opened when i clicked on submit button.
The BADI is activated and its working fine because the same functionality is working good when i tested this through trans. code PR_WEB_1200. When i clicked on a submit button, a new browser was opened and the form was displayed the way we want in a different browser.
But when i tested the same in ESS, i couldn't see any new browser or window opened. If the BADI was called when i clicked on the submit button atleast a new browser has to open with a blank page.
Please guide me, If anybody knows, how to call a function module in a new browser by clicking on a button in ESS - Portal.

You can use the BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 to change the display from customer-defined fields to the SAP standard screen. This BAdI enables you to control whether the fields can be edited, and how they are displayed.
MODIFY_SCREEN method will Show/hide field display and restrict edit options.

When you start QT 7 player, under the first menu there is a "Registration" menu item.
Enter your name and Registration code, THEN hit the TAB KEY. Do not click the "Buy..." button.
That should do it.

I call tcode KKF1 to create an order in my program.And then call tcode KKF4 to deal with the order created before in the same program.I have used the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to commit after KKF1.But the program still send the message "The order ******* is not exist"....Why?

How can we call Tcode from the Portal?

Senario:
2 BAPIs are developed:
1. The information say... ABC is stored into the table from the portal using the Create BAPI.
2. The change in this ABC information is done using a particular <b>Tcode</b> say xyz. This is a report that calls the change BAPI inside.
The ABC information change will be done either through the Tcode in ECC or through the EP.
3. The Tcode has been created in ECC.
Please let me know who will be responsible to call this tcode from the Portal and how?

If you have already performed these steps and are able to see the iview that you have created. Then I think your issue has been sorted out.
To explain it to you in detail.
Let us suppose, you have created a SAP Transactional iview to access the TCODE-SE38.
Now, as soon as the user clicks on the iview, it will authenticate by asking for the username and password for the backend system...if your SSO is not in place.
Now, if your asking me how to make the iview visible.
You can add assign this SAP transactional iview to a page,a workset or a role and add the corresponding page, workset or role to the user in USER ADMINISTARTION by making it an entry point.
Or to make the iview as an entry point, right click on the iview that you have created and open the properties, then for the option that says entry point choose yes.
I guess that answers your question.

Selection-screen function key is used to add push buttons on application tool bar.
Syntax:
selection-screen functuin key<num>
Where num is ranging from 1 to 5.
whenever application toolbat components are added using above statement,tables are defined in the structure "SSCRFIELDS" as "Functxt_01","Functxt_02","Functxt_03","Functxt_04","Functxt_05" for the related function key numbers.
eg:
Tables SSCRFIELDS.
Selection-Screen pushbutton/10(10 lb1 user-command pb1.
Selectiong-Screen Function key1.
Selectiong-Screen Function key2.
Selectiong-Screen Function key3.
Selectiong-Screen Function key4.
Selectiong-Screen Function key5.
Initialization.
sscrfields-Functxt_01 = 'first".

Calling BAPI on click of Approve/Reject button

I have a GP Application in which the initiator fills out a form which goes for approval to the approver.....now once the Approver clicks on Approve/Reject button i want to call a BAPI to update certain fields in the R/3 ......since those 2 buttons are part of the standard SAP Visual Approval Callable Object ....please let me know if this is possible....

Hello Anil!
Basically, you have two options:
1.) You can invoke the BAPI from your VC model when the button is clicked.
2.) You can invoke the BAPI from the GP.
First of all, you should consider wrapping the BAPI with a web service.
For option 1: Import your web service into your VC model and invoke it when the button is clicked.
For option 2: Create a callable object from you web service. In the VC you must now provide a result state, which indicates whether the approve or the reject button has been clicked. Depending on this result state you can now invoke the callable object in your GP.
I recomment option 1.

Calling subscreen on click of radio button

I am creating a module pool program , in which on click of a radio butto to 'YES' a subscreen should appear ( on the main screen) with few fields so that the user can input values of it.
But I am having proble in calling the subscreen in PAI event.Actually I think it should be something like this

Can this be done? I f yes how? I only know how to call subscreen in PBO, but the syntax for calling subscrren is different in PAI i think.

PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.

CALL SUBSCREEN TAB1_REF1 INCLUDING 'ZTRIAL' '0111'.
In the PAI of the main screen,
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
MODULE USER_COMMAND_0110.
CALL SUBSCREEN TAB1_REF1.
Assign a function code to your radio button.
Layout -> Attributes -> Function Code
In the TOP include,
DATA: v_dynnr type sy-dynnr.
In module USER_COMMAND_0110.
if p_rad = 'X'.
   v_dynnr = '0111'.
else.
v_dynnr = ' '
endif.

Call tcode and skip first screen

hi all,
before i think of posing a question i have searched SDN for 2days but dint get the desired results.
so i am posting a question.
in my prog am calling a TCODE and in that TCODE i have a mandatory field so when i say skip first screen it does not skip as their is a mandatory field.
so i used my code like this and checked twice and i found i have value in L_PERNO and id is: EHS00PERSONID.
i have a value in L_PERNO.
parameter id of the tcode field is : EHS00PERSONID
set parameter id 'EHS00PERSONID' field L_PERNO.
CALL TRANSACTION 'ZEDIT' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN .
but it does not set the value... what am i missing still to get it done can i have some input pls.

You have done everything right and your program will work with simple addition.
Just add the statement below in your transaction 'ZEDIT' in PBO of screen on which mandatory field exist.
get parameter id 'EHS00PERSONID' field 'XXX.'
where XXX is the name of mandatory field on the screen.

Call tcode KSB1 in a custom program and modify its output

I was searching the forum for finding a way to create a program that has all details from KSB1 and some details from CJ13 (WBS details) and found some related posts. But none of the posts had any details on how to actually achieve this.
I have to do a similar thing of getting the KSB1 output and add WBS details for each line item and then give the final output.
If you have already done this before, please elaborate on the steps how you achieved it.
Please specify the SUBMIT that you had written to call KSB1. If I can have all details from KSB1 in my memory, then I can read that in my program and add WBS details and give the output.
Below is what I am doing but it gives the same error as one of you had - transaction code not defined.
DATA: FCODE TYPE SY-TCODE VALUE 'KSB1'.
SUBMIT RKAEP000 WITH SY-TCODE = FCODE.
