Calling the Requisition Summary Form

I have a custom form and it calls the Req form this way:
FND_FUNCTION.EXECUTE(FUNCTION_NAME=>'PO_POXRQERQ',
OPEN_FLAG =>'Y',
SESSION_FLAG =>'N' ,
OTHER_PARAMS =>'P_REQUISITION_HEADER_ID = "' || NAME_IN('TRAN_REQ.REQ_HDRID') ||
'" P_MODE = "VIEW"' ||
' POXRQERQ_CALLING_FORM = "XXSSAFND"');
I need to instead, call the Requisition Summary form POXRQVRQ
But I do not know how to do this...ie what parameters are required in the 'OTHER_PARAMS' section. I can't find a call to this form anywhere either. Anyone know my next course of action? How do I find out what params are required?
Thanks

Hi, each form is registered in Oracle within a function. In this case, 'PO_POXRQERQ' is the function associated to the Req form. You can look under
Sysadmin > Application > Function and query for 'PO_POXRQERQ' under description tab. Scroll on your right and you'll see details.
You may use the same pl/sql code you have, but you'll have to change
FUNCTION_NAME=>'PO_POXRQERQ',
for PO_POXRQVRQ (Summary forms)
and maybe adjust other parameters if necessary.
Summary form will execture with requsition header id in this case.

  • Can't find requisition template in the requisition definition form

    Hi All,
    I created the requisition in the path setup->purchasing->requisition template, but when I create the requisition in the path requisitions->requisition, click the catalog button, and put the requisition name in the finding form. The requisition template which I prior defined can't find out at all. Why so? Can someone help me on this?
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Jerome

    Hi Sandeep,
    Thanks for your update.
    I can't understand what you said. Why I need requisition template? Because the requisistion template can help me create the requisition quickly. So when I create the requisition, I won't type anything in the requisition definition form, Just click catalog button and select the item from the requisition template directly. Please comment.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Jerome

  • Problem with output from  report to excel, calling the report from form 10g

    Hi everyone, I'm having a problem generating a excel from a report, which is called from a form, I'm using Forms 10g. The problem is this: My report has a variable number of columns. These columns appear according to data obtained from the database, these columns are dates, In vesion 6 excel file generated shows the columns one after another starting in column A1 to column CP. I mean that the dates are correlative. But in version 10g the excel file generated shows the same report starting in column A to column T, only shows the 20 dates correlative corresponding to this columns, the rest of the dates are down the excel sheet in groups of 20 dates, it's something, the file in 6i grows across and in 10g grows down the excel sheet. The report (rdf file) is the same in 6i and 10g, I compiled the 6i version to obtain the 10g version. The excel sheet generated in 10g looks like the report was in pdf format, because PDF format, cuts the report in pages and the file grows down, if I generate the report in PDF format it has the same structure excel file in 10g has. I hope yo can help because I have days trying to solve this but I have no succes. If someone could help I could email the excel files generated in two versions. Here I put the code I use to generate the files in 6i and 10g. I have tried with DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET in 10g but the result is the same. Thanks for your help. Greetings for all.

    There are two problems with your VI.  First, the basic logic of writing/appending to a file (Excel, TDMS, anything) should go something like this:  Open the file, position yourself at the end of the file, then, in the loop, acquire data and write it to the file until you are finished with data acquisition.  When you exit the acquire/write to file loop, then close the file.  In particular, the opening and the closing of the file should not be inside the loop.
    As others have pointed out, writing to Excel might not be optimal, particularly if you are acquiring data at a high rate (and would therefore be writing a lot of data). We actually use Excel in our data acquisition routine, mainly reading from a WorkSheet to get the parameters of a particular stimulus, but also writing the outcome of the response to the stimulus.  As it happens, our "acquisition rate" in this example is on the order of several samples per minute, so there's no problem using Excel (we also sample 16 channels of analog data at 1 KHz -- this gets written as a binary file).
    Second, if you really do want to use Excel, use the (existing) Excel file to which you want to append as the "template" argument of the New Report function.  Then use the Excel Get Last Row function to position yourself at "end of file", as noted above.
    Good Luck.

  • PO Summary Form Personalization

    Hi Gurus,
    We are having a requirement as below.
    User Created a Purchase Order with 100 Lines and approved it.Now he wants to change the Promise Date of few Lines.User used the PO Summary form to do it.In the "FInd Purchase Orders Form" User enter the PO Number in Number Field and Line Number in Lines Field as 77 and click on the find button.Its Navigated to Purchase Order Lines Form then clicked on the Open Button in "Purchase Order Lines Form" then the Purchase Order Form opens with all the Lines that are Presented in the PO.But the User Needs only the Particular Line 77 of that PO in order to Modify Promise Date.But its not Navigating to Particular Line Directly why?
    Is there any Possibility of doing Form Personalization? If so please suggest me the clear step by step process to attain my requirement.
    We are using Oracle Applications R12.1.3.
    Are there any profile options to navigate the cursor to particular line?
    Its my urgent requirement.Please gurus help me out immediately in solving this requirement.
    Thanks In Advance,
    RS.

    Hello RS,
    I don't see a simple way to achieve what you are looking for. Most probably you will have to develop a customization to the form (customize the form itself) or maybe via CUSTOMPLL, but I have no experience with that. Maybe someone else has some ideas on that.
    Another option is that people use the form in a different way, using the "Query by Example":
    On the find form they enter just the PO number and press on find, then open to open and they will see all the lines in the PO. Then they click into the Lines block, press F11, enter Line number, press CTRL+F11 to execute the search and it will show only this specific line. Maybe not so efficient as you want, but at least faster than scrolling through all the PO lines.
    And in R12 there is a web-based version of the PO Summary (OAF page), maybe you should explore that one as well? It's called "Buyer Work Center". Click on tab "Orders" and on that page on (sub)tab "Lines". Then you can add search fields "Order" and "Line Number" (use forms personalizations to have those search fields per default available).
    Then search for PO & Line number, press Go. Then above the search results table you can select from the LOV the entry "Update Line" and press Go and it will navigate immediately to the specific Line and you can update the quantity or date.
    kind regards,
    David.

  • Issue calling report from a Form(11.1.2).

    Hi,
    I have an existing code in the form to call a report and it seems to be working in the current 10g version of production server and I am migrating forms 10g to 11gR2. My issue here is when, I want to call the report from Forms 11g ( i.e. in developer suite) it is taking the report server as a blank. My Oracle FMW (11.1.2) is installed on the Windows 2008 R2 server. I do not know, if I need to configure the report server locally after the installation of FMW. Please help me out, if someone has faced a similar issue before.

    Hello,
    Usually in development installation report server gets installed by default unless you uncheck it.
    You can find the report server name by:
    a)looking into rwservlet.properties file
    or
    b)as entry in Start > All Programs > Oracle Classic instance - asinst_1 > Reports Services > Start Report Server rep_wls_reports_<hostname>_<InstanceName>
    or
    c)http://<yourhostname>:7001/reports/rwservlet/getserverinfo
    In order to run the report from froms you need:
    -to implement the solution i described in a previous update
    or
    -use a harcoded value in the form
    SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY(rep_Report,REPORT_SERVER,'your_report_server name');
    Since you are in 11gR2 development mode you cannote use EM or OPMN to get the status of the report server as Roberto Suggested.

    111 java_error 20
    I am importing currencyexchangestub.class, java.lang.Float.class and java.lang.Exception.class.
    My code is failing before executing the new function.
    Where am I doing wrong? Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Francois,
    Everything went fine according to demo until I clicked on the button to get the conversion rate. The button is inserting the "java_error" row in the table and giving out this error:

    One more thing I would like to mention is that my form builder is on UNIX server and JDeveloper is on my local machine. So I am ftp'ing the java class and the deployed JAR file into my home directory on UNIX server in "binary" mode. And in the CLASSPATH I am mentioning my home directory,So that the java class gets picked up when I import the Java class.

  • Purchase order summary form

    Hi
    In purchase order summary form i query the purchase order with release number it is showing some amount in the headers summary form ,
    Now i want to know the how this amount filed is return value.based on which values it is calculated.
    ex:-My po_num:-11177 and release_num=5 once i query combination of this in the purchase order summary form it is showing in the headers amount filed is 32,054.25,
    But i query from back end based this po_number po_headers_all table showing BLANKET_TOTAL_AMOUNT=3953444.9
    Now i need help how amount filed calculated in the purchase order form .
    thank's
    Narendra

    Hi Narendra,
    blanket amount is SUM of amount for all releases under that Blanket.
    Release amount is SUM of amount for all shipments for that release i.e. SUM (quantity x price) for all shipments under that release.
    e.g. you have a blanket with 2 releases for the same item with unit price $ 1000.
    Release 1: Quantity = 3. So here the release amount will be $ 3000 (3 x 1000).
    Release 2: Quantity = 5. So here the release amount will be $ 5000 (5 x 1000).
    And the blanket amount will be $ 8000 (3000 + 5000)
    When you are querying using the blanket number and release number in PO summary the system is showing only the release record and corresponding amount for that. As per above example you'll see $ 3000 for 1st release and $ 5000 for 2nd release.
    Now query in PO summary with blanket number and without any release number. Check the 'View Releases' checkbox and press find. You'll see the blanket and all associated releases. There the release amount will add up the total blanket amount.
    Thanks

  • Calling an EXE from Forms 4.5

    How do i call a windows Exe from forms. Whats the exact syntax to do that? Code sample would help.
    Thanks!

    Client/server mode calling an EXE from Forms 4.5
    The following is a Foreign Function Interface that I employed to launch an outside program in its own asynchronous window. It was a great alternative to the HOST command.
    The disadvantage to the HOST command was that the launched program would have to be closed before you could return to the form. With this method the the launched program
    could be minimized etc. and you could switch back and forth between forms and it.

  • How configure the requisition pint preview form?

    Hi All,
    I need to configure the Requisition Print Preview.
    Our client needs some changes in this Smartform, so, I have copied the standard form HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_REQUISITION.
    But I've to configure it because when the user Press the Print Preview button the system call the standard form and I need the Z form.
    I debugged a lot but I could not find when the system calls the form.
    Please, I need your help .
    Thanks
    Rodrigo

    Hello,
    You have to configure in the following tables depending on your E-Recruiting version:
    Parameter FORM_REQ_DOVR in table V77RCF_PRMC_PL for Recruiters,
    Parameter SF_VIEW_REQ in table V77RCF_MDL_PRMC for Managers,
    Parameter hrrcf_req_dovr - SF_VIEW_REQ in table T77RCF_UI_PARAM for BSP applications.

  • Calling Report from a Form on the same page

    Hi,
    We have a SEARCH Form and when user inputs search criteria, then we want to call a report on the same page, just below the search button. We tried many things but the report does not show up on the same page, it navigates to next page.
    Please help..
    Thanks
    Kumar.

    I am trying to do a similar thing... I have created a form application component and a Report application component which is called from the search form. This works fine.
    I expose the search form as a component and put it on a portal page. I do the same with the report.
    When I call the page and enter the search params in the form and call the report, the report appears in a separate non-portal window. I would like the report in the same portal page to be run in-line with the new parameters.
    Has anyone done this before?

  • Parameter Form not calling the Main report - Gives REP-0110, REP-1070, REP-0110 error

    I am using run_report_object to call a report in which the user has to input some paramters. I have followed the instructions as in the Oracle White paper document on Forms/Reports integration.
    The paramter report does come up but when I hit the submit button, I get an error
    REP-0110: Unable to open file 'rclug005'.
    REP-1070: Error while opening or saving a document.
    REP-0110: Unable to open file 'rclug005
    I've checked the privileges and everything's fine on that front. Also, I can get to open the report with the web.show document built-in with paramform setting = No.
    I am guessing something's wrong with the html constructed in the parameter form which is,
    <form method=post action="http://myserver/dev60cgi/RWCGI60.EXE?">
    <input name="hidden_run_parameters" type=hidden value="server=myserver &report=rclug005&destype=Cache&desformat=html&userid=uid/pwd@test">
    In the Report Before Form trigger, I've copied the foll. html code from the Oracle White paper,
    vc_parameter_form :=
    '<html><body bgclor="ffffff"><form method=post action="'||:p_action||'">'||
    '<input name="hidden_run_parameters" type=hidden
    value= "'||vc_hidden_runtime_values||'">'||'<center><p>
    <table border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0><tr><td>
    <input type=submit></td><td> width=15
    <td><input type=reset></td></tr></table><p><hr></p>';
    I've set the :p_action parameter to a value of http://myserver/dev60cgi/RWCGI60.EXE?
    Also, In the end of the report before form trigger I added this
    srw.set_before_form_html(srw.text_escape, vc_parameter_form);
    Any help/tips is appreciated & Thanks.

    Thanks Danny,
    I am building the variable exactly as in the White paper in the "before form" trigger using exactly the same values give there.
    vc_hidden_runtime_values := 'server='||:p_servername||'&report='||vc_report_name||'.rep&destype='||:destype||'&desformat='||:desformat||'&userid='||:p_userinfo;
    My report has some extra parameters too it expects. So do I have to include the names of those parameters too in the string above?
    For example, in my report a user parameter is named 'print_date', which I do see and populate with value in the parameter form, then do I have to build that in the vc_hidden_runtime_values string above.
    I am using Report 6.0.8.11.3 on 9iAS.
