Can anyone help me to get rid of a "hanging" site/window that I inadvertently clicked and that I now can't escape?
When I try either to close this "hanging" site/window or to return to the previous page/site, a second, pop-up window appears and asks whether I'm sure that I "want to navigate away from this page"; however, no yes-or-no option/buttons are visible (maybe they're at the ottom of the pop-up, but the pop-up's bottom margin extends below the bottom of mny screen, and I can't scroll down to it). Also, the hanging window has a "jump" tab (and that word also has been inserted in front of the "Mozilla Firefox (Private Browsing)" banner at the top of my screen. Last, toward the upper right of the window is a lozenge/button reading Install Missing Plugins" (an injunction that I ignored).
Mine does the same thing occasionally, is your phone jailbroken? Sometimes it will work if you delete the book and reinstall it or put your phone into airplane mode then turn it back off.

If you've created the Windows 7 Drivers CD/USB drive, using Boot Camp Assistant in OSX, the drivers should be on there. My MacBook Pro (2010) touchpad works fine with those drivers installed, and I think it's identical to the Air's.

Aftee downloading the new ios8 software there is still a "1" notification on my settings. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it? there is nothing that calls for attention once I get into the settings app. So I'm not sure what to do.

I see you have updated your iPhone to iOS 8 and still show an update notification in settings. Check to see if you have an update to your carrier settings as this could be the issue.

However, if the issue persists try forcing all applications to close in multitasking and restart the device. Once this is done test to see if the behavior persists.

can anyone help me with getting the best setting for me system on cpufan it says my temp is 38c but on corecentre it says 42c can anyone help get my system overclocked any more but keeping it stable as well thanx in advance for the help
my corecenter temp sometimes says im at 60 cel at idle....and i have the most recent update...i would rely on speedfan for temp control...core center seems to always read 3 degrees higher than speedfan on my pc....
i wouldnt be too concerned...those temps are pretty low to begin with. -
a while ago i backed up my ipod touch 4g and yesterday it was acting up so i restored it and it deleted ALL of my pictures so can anyone help me to get them back?
currently running iOS 4.3.5If you restored from backup all the photos in your camera roll that were in the backp should be restored to our iPod. However, photos that are synced to the iPod are not in the backup. You will have to resyc them to the iPod. If the synced photos are no longer on the computer then the photos are lost.

I am getting blocks of black, vertical broken lines to right of cursor, around applications on desktop and over text on internet. I recently updated from OS X Tiger to Leopard on my G5 powermac. Can anyone advise how to get rid of the blocks of lines?
What graphics card is installed?
Have you looked inside to see if the interior is dusty?
Is the graphics card dusty?
If equipped, is the fan on the graphics card turning?
Leopard uses the graphics card harder than Tiger, so weakness in the graphics card is more easily shown. -
I made a website, but have now deleted it in order to take it down. However, after deleting it, the website is still online? Can anyone help me figure out how to remove the site completely?
The site is joehewett.uk and I am worried that now I do not have the files of the website I cannot remove it?
James.Did you delete the files from your Remote server?
Deleting the local site folder or the site definition in DW will have no effect on your remote site.
When I go to your URL, I see the index.html page with 16 code errors and this background image:

So the site is still online until you delete those files from your server.

Can anyone help me to install CS2 from download. I am on Windows 8. The prompt keeps asking me to insert disc 2! I have opened all the files to the folder as instructed, I have even tried to copy to discs but nothing seems to work.

In itunes I am recieving a message that says "Accessing Itunes Store..." Can anyone help for this message to go away??? It happens whenever I click anywhere in Itunes.

I recently bought a 2ndhand IPAD (1) only to find 760 of the previous owners photos which had been synched onto it. I cannot delete them - help help!!!

Thank you for any help I appreciate it. Apple products came highly recomended to me, and I have been largely happy with my i phone, i pod, i pad mini and macbook. I admit I tunes always confused me, it is so hard to copy things back and forth from computer to device or vice versa. Most importantly my partner has given me a set of CD with audio books, legitimate CD's not burned copies, and I wish to play them on my i pod touch. I have donethis before with CD''s, however now I look i see all the songs and audio books from CD's have been removed from my device after synch with my itunes on my macbook??? and I can no longer cooy the new CDs on to there? i try put them in the library, and they show up but they are not in black printing like the other songs, they are a faded grey color. They play on the mac book in itunes, so i know they are THERE, they just wont go on my device??? What am I doing wrong and why did all my other ones turn to grey gaded text and go off my i pod.
Furthermore, i thank anyone who takes time to help me, it isnt your job, it is apple's job, but they want me to pay forty bucks for the priviledge of contacting them for help because my warranty expired !! They obviously did something with a new update of their i tunes, there should be NO DIFFICULTY copying audio books i legally own the CD for onto my i pod, why is it so impossible? I have asked my father, my brother, my flat mate, no one can work it out, so its not just that im an idiot.
People warned me that apple does things like this, makes stupid programs like i tunes, that make nothing but trouble so you have to pay to ask for help, and make it so you have to buy everything from their library not on CD. I woudl buy from them if they had the audio books and songs I wished to purchase but they don't always have what i want. And if they did why shoudl i pay AGAIN when i paid for the CD already , i paid for the I pod, i legally own them both so why can i not put my own music on there??? It makes me miss my simple MP3 player where i just plugged it to my computer and copy/paste. It really makes me wonder why when i POD is so much more expensive why its so much more trouble and you have to pay to ask for help??? I really have enjoyed my macbook (After being windows used all my life), i love my i pad and i phone, and until now i adored my i pod, but if it's not going to let me listen to my own music and audio files i may as well throw it in the trash and go get a mp3 player, and warn everyone I know. If there IS a way to copy my own music to the device then WHY IS IT SO HARD?? Just to make people pay to ask for help or what?
I am a loyal apple customer, All my devices are apple and until now i have been happy and willing to pay more for a good product. But i tunes is ridiculous! It's already synched things i didnt want synched and deleted things i didn twant deleted, and thats fine i told myself maybe im too dumb and dont get it. buT i've been trying all week and asked other peopel and still cant get this simple task done, and after purchasing their devices and recommending them to my friends, its a slap in the face to say they wont even let me ask a support question without paying forty bucks! Thanks for nothing apple.
A very unhappy customer-- not just that i cant pplay my music and audio books, but that i cant even contact anyone for help without paying after i purcahsed four different products off them in the two years!The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.
