You need iTunes 11.1 which is not available for download in google chrome or other browsers. The only browser it has worked for with me is Safari. Hope this helps!

I think this is probably a sign that your network could be better than it is.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

Acrobat 9 installed on Windows 8.1; upon Save, error every time: "The Organizer Database is damaged and will be reset..."; no "Organizer90" file found (to be deleted, as www suggests for solution with XP, VIsta, 7)

I've installed my old faithful Acrobat 9 Pro on my new Windows 8.1 computer. The program works, but every time I save the document, it tells me "The Organizer Database is damaged and will be reset. Quit the program and close all browsers." (Something close to that text.) I've entered the error online, and a solution does appear for XP, Vista, and Windows 7. It tells me to have Windows Explorer show hidden files, and then look for "Organizer90" within Users/[me]/AppData/LocalLow/Adobe/Acrobat/9.0, and then delete that file -- which will make Acrobat generate a new one. But there is no such file there. Please help with alternate solution. NOTE: When I "Check for Updates" in Acrobat, I'm told that there are no updates available at this time, but also told: "Please note that some updates for the following products cannot be determined at this time: Adobe Updater." Seems like things are out of whack.

Thanks for help. Difficulties continue: When trying to install 9.5.5, I'm told it can't install because the program may not be on my computer, or may be the wrong version. I'm told to check that the program exists. The installed version (9.0) is totally legit, my serial numbers, etc., I've used it for many years. Before FF4 I just typed in a website name (like imdb) and went instantly to that site. Now I get a google search page--totally unnecessary. There used to be a "none" in the browser bar, but it seems to be gone now. I know you've got this whole keyword thing now and I can set it up so google is in the background, but before I went straight to any website without setting up anything and it was much easier, and no google. If this google alliance is the new FF, I want none of it--I'll go elsewhere.

Check the pref keyword.URL on the about:config page.

How can I fix the problem of a pop up window that appears every time firefix loads titled [Javascript Application] and says "balance.balance is undefined"

The small "[Javascript Application] and balance.balance is undefined" pop up window is followed by a pop up that shows a caution sign and the number 3. They repeatedly pop back up when I click on the OK button or X, I must click them 10 times before they go away. Then Firefox seems to run normally until I exit and try to return later to Firefox.
I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it with no effect. I have also run any troubleshooter that seemed to remotely refer to this problem with no effect.
This does not happen when I load Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Except for this problem, I much prefer Firefox over either one.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, probably an addon is interfering here...

ISync seems to run every 10 or 15 minutes, and every time it asks for my keychain password. Can I either change the rate or prevent it from requesting the password?

Your keychain is probably locked.
Open up your Applications folder and then go into Utilities. Open up Keychain Access. Click on Keychain Access at the top beside the Apple then click Preferences. From there go into the First Aid tab. Make sure "Keep my keychain unlocked" is checked. You may have to unlock the keychain one last time by clicking the lock at the top left of Keychain Access.
That should take care of it. If not, you may have a deeper issue.
let me know what happens and I can advise where to go from there.

I'm confused. Who told you that you need to deauthorize an Audible account to be able to play your music? Did you ever set up an account with Audible.com? What is happening when you try to play your music? And what exactly do you mean by "sync your iTunes account with your laptop"?
Please provide more details as to your situation and what it is you're trying to accomplish. I'm sure once we understand what it going on, someone can provide suggestions.

I am using MAC OSx 10.5.8 (9L31a) as my operation system. The TV says "No signal. Check connected device's power, cable connection and source selection." We recently decided to start giving out iPhones at work on our company cell plan to employees.
Along with this, we're using one of the AppStore apps to do user tracking/maintenance on the phone, and I was curious if there was any way to make the Apple IDs/Appstore accounts without giving a credit card number to verify the account.
We don't want to have everyone use their own credit cards, nor do we want to use the company cards to register, in case someone gets crazy and starts buying paid apps.
Is there any way around this?

Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
