Can I acquire from more than one device at once using Labview?

I have two SC-2345 boxes. One is device 3 and one is device 4. Can I acquire from both of these boxes at once? I know for most of the AI functions you just put in one Device number. But what if I want to acquire from 32 channels at once? How would I do this? Your help and tips are appreciated.
ALSO- If you know about SC-2345 boxes, how many Analog input channels can I use? I see 8 slots for AI and the other 8 appear to be for signal conditioning. Can I still use these for AI? Could I have 16 thermocouple modules in one box?

Yes, you can simultaneously acquire from both devices. However, each device will require its own analog input task. Furthermore, if you want to synchronize the acquisitions, you will need to connect the DAQ devices that are cabled to the SC-2345s with a RTSI cable. With regards to your second question, the SC-2345 provides access to 16 analog input channels through 8 modules. Most analog input modules have two channels. However, both of the SCC-TC series thermocouple input modules only have one channel because the other is used for the built-in CJC sensor. Thus, using the SCC-TC series modules, you will only be able to acquire from eight thermocouples with a single SC-2345.

I'm confused a little bit on how a thread might act in this situation:
I have a server-client setup. The thread on the Client sits and waits to receive instructions from the server. When it does, it manipulates some ArrayLists I have in the Client in different ways depending on what the instructions from the server were. What would happen if I sent two instructions from the server, one right after the other, and they both had to manipulate the same ArrayList. I was going to synchronize the methods operating on the arraylists, but I didn't know if that would work since it's really just one thread. But then, since it's just one thread, can it do more than one thing at a time? Or will it queue them up somehow? Thanks!

Or will it queue them up somehow? Yes. Each connection has a buffer at both ends. When the buffers fill the sender blocks waiting for the receiver to read the data.

Can't upload from more than one card

I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard, and now when I use Aperture 3, either in 32-bit or 64-bit mode, I can upload images from one of my CF cards just fine, but if I try to upload from a second card, everything looks like it's going to work fine, but then it doesn't upload any of the images. I have to quit and restart A3 and then it works fine for a card or two, and then the same thing. Any suggestions?

It is never recommended to erase memory cards in Aperture or any photo application. Best to Reformat in the camera. Can lead to errors saving in the camera, or maybe reduce recognizable free space for the camera. Perhaps it even has some lingering impact as you erase one card, and then immediately try to download from a new card?
I go a step further, and never eject the card in Aperture, but rather wait to eject with the Finder. This is due primarily to the fact that I use a Firewire CF reader, and had some suspicions about release of Firewire devices in Snow Leopard.
I would recommend that you cycle two or three cards where you wait and reformat in the camera, and then see if this behavior persists. I have never encountered any balkiness going from one card to other where I have need to download from multiple cards after shooting.

Finally have all my devices up todate. Iphone, Ipad and imac. How can I access me @me.com mail from all three? All I have been able to find is that it is difficult. But is it impossible? Can someone help?

on a device: go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars, in the Accounts section, Add Account and enter the icloud ID and password to set up the mail account. If you already have an icloud account there, you should be getting emails. If not, delete that account and start again. You won't lose emails, since they are store on icloud.

You'll need a program that can open and edit the invoices. You can search the app store for "invoices" and see what you can find - perhaps there is a cloud-based one that would allow you to store the invoices on their server.
Or if the apps are fairly simple, you could open them in a Word Processing app that does sync two ways with the cloud and do your work on them - and then store the receipts in Dropbox/iDisk/Sugarsync. Loading the actual documents onto those services is very easy and self-explanatory once you sign up for them.

Basic, basic question - how to order prints from more than one album at onc

I am having two problems with iphoto - I would be most grateful for any help. First, when I go to upload my photos to a web-based printing company (like shutterfly or snapfish), and I click on the vendor's "browse" photos to find the album to upload, the way the photos come up does not correspond to my album titles in iphoto, so I can't find them. I have my photos sorted in labeled albums, and would like to upload them as such, but when I click on iphoto library, it brings up all kinds of other files that don't correspond to my current file labels. Can anyone help?
Equally irritating, when I use apple's "order print" features, it only lets me order from one album at a time. I'd like to order from multiple albums all at once, without paying shipping for each one. Any ideas? Again, most grateful for any advice.

Problem 1: Export the photos you want printed from iPhoto to a folder on the desktop. Use the printer's browser to navigate to that folder and upload them to the printing company from it. After uploading them, trash the folder that contains the exported copies. The pictures are still safe in your iPhoto library.
Problem 2: Create a new album and place all the pictures you want printed in it. (A photo can appear in any number of albums, so doing this won't remove any of the pictures from the other albums they're already in.) Then order that album printed. Delete the album after ordering, if you wish — the pictures will remain in whatever other albums you've placed them in.

How to delete keywords from more than one image at once?

Is there any way to delete all the keywords from a selected group of images all at once?
I've selected a group of images, but when I delete the keywords, it only deletes them from the highlighted (targeted?) image and not from the other selected images. I've also tried syncing metadata and I get the same results.
Help would be appreciated.

Interesting bug I just found, I think.
When the Grid is up on the second monitor, only one images is affected by the deletion of the keywords. When I put the Grid mode back on the main screen, I was able to delete keywords from all the selected images.
Shouldn't it work the same no matter what screen the Grid mode is on?

Seeing more than one application at once using extended desktop display

Hi, I have just bought a new dvi external monitor and connected it to my MBP. In extended mode I can't seem have one app open on the external screen and another app on the mbp screen - as soon as I open a new app, the existing one disappears even if I've already dragged it accross to the external monitor. Not sure if it is something to do with spaces but it's bugging me. Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks

Depends on the apps, whether they are hidden, etc. You should be able to do what you are trying to do - I have Safari open on an external display, Word open on the internal display, for example.

Can takes from more than one track be comped at the same time?

Or perhaps I did not understand the suggested solutions to the problem. I will ask the question in a slightly different way...
Suppose that I record guitar with 2 microphones (a pickup mic, and a room mic). The first microphone is recorded onto track 1, the second microphone is recorded onto track 2. Multiple takes are done in this manner. When it comes time to comp the tracks, how is it done? Can the takes from more than one track be comped together at the same time? I have tried to do this by grouping both tracks together, but it does not work.

You had the right idea grouping the tracks together. You must make sure that in the group settings, the box titled "region selection (edit)" is checked. This will allow you to make the same cuts (or in this case, swipes) on all regions in the group.

That's correct - it only deletes them from your phone, not from iCloud
If you go into Settings, Music and set Show All Music to Off, you will only see the songs that are actually on the phone.
One other tip - once you've deleted the songs/lists you no longer want, restart the phone (hold the Home and Sleep buttons for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears) to make sure the songs are gone.

Can't connect more than one device.

I just bought an Airport Express 2 gen from a friend and I have two issues: I tried to reset it to factory settings and could not do it. Tried holding the reset button for 10 secs, unplugging and plugging back in while holding the reset button, holding the button for a longer time and nothing worked. I had no choice but to create another network. Once created, I can't connect more than one device. If I have my MacAir hooked up the network and I try to get my Ipad in, the minute I type the network pass in my Ipad, a screen pops up where I have to log in with my internet provider account. When I do that, it will connect, but my MacAir will disconnect automatically.

Things are a bit different with the 2nd Gen AirPort Express and other newer AirPorts.
A Factory Default Reset is now the same as what was previously known as a "Hard Reset".
Power up the AirPort Express and let it run a few minutes.
Hold in the reset button on the Express for 10 seconds
Release the reset button and allow a full minute for the Express to restart to a slow, blinking amber light
If the Express is operating correctly, it will be back to factory default settings at this time.
If you try the reset a few times and the Express will not return to default settings, the Express is defective.

The goal is for my wife to be able to watch her Korean TV soap operas on her MacBook and still receive a call on her iPhone 4 via a stereo bluetooth headset.
I was looking at the Motorola S10-HD but after further review saw that it only pairs with one device at a time.

You can only pair one device at a time to your 8330, or any other phone for that matter. The "pairings" are saved to the phone, you can use one or the other and you won't have to pair it again. Once you turn your bluetooth device on and the phone is on, they will find each other again.

iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.
