Can I change xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection.connect.connectString.value

On LC Designer, I set up a data connection called DataConnection1 to access a certain file named a001.xls,
Here is the xml shows:

I can display the value of xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection1.connect.connectString.value which shows above string.
Now I change the connectString via a button click such that I can use another file named a002.xls for the data connection by :

Then when I display the value again, it still remains the same old connect string value.
Any ideas?

I am trying to insert data into database using "xfa.sourceset.dataconnection.add()" as shown in tutorial. However, the value is not inserted into DB and the PDF file is not throwing any errors.
I did try update, last, first, etc., all the function are working but only add is not working.
Can anyone please tell me where I am wrong?
FYI -I have change the dataconnection name to the name that I am using for dataconnection so this is not a problem.

Hello Viral,
     To reader extend your form you have two options..
     One option is using Adobe Acrobat Pro which can provide only a subset of Reader Extensions (locally saving and Digitial Signatures).
     Attached image show you the menu option in Acrobat PRO to Reader extend the form..
     Other option is by purchasing a Reader Extensions service component from Adobe and use it at the time of rendering in the Livecycle Server.
     This option provide the full Reader Extensions functionality(things like commenting, Database and web service access, etc..).
     since in your case you are trying with the Database connections, can you try with the second option.

Only started using LCD ES a couple of days ago.
I was able to connect a form via ODBC/MySQL.
It correctly displays the first row.
I was trying the following scipt on a "next" button:
form1.#subform[0].dbNext::click - (FormCalc, client)xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection.next()
When running, I get the error:

I have this exact same problem and have found no reason why this is happening after 3 days of scouring the internet. In regards to the OP problem. If I run the button code in FormCalc mode I get the same error as in the OP question and if I switch it to JavaScript the error goes away, but the code in the button does not respond.
Any ideas on why xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection.next()
or
xfa.sourceSet.{the name of my data connection}.next()
does not work?

What Version of SAP Business One are you running?
There is a known bug in the DI-API in 2005A SP01 PL36 (not sure what others it affects) that prevents an update to the billing address details. I think this is resolved in patch 43
SAP Note: 1128151 describes the issue.

Update of BP default address information via DI is not complete.

Can you change where a clip connects to the story line?

The question's kind of vague. A clip gets connected to the primary storyline based on where the skimmer or playhead is. If you want them connected at a different place move the skimmer before you make the edit.
If you mean can you change the connection point of a connected clip without changing its position, yes, you can. You option-command click on the lower edge of the connected clip at the point at which you want it attached to the primary storyline.

That is an issue to be addressed by your web mail provider. Too many web mail service providers use an encrypted connection for the login process, but then they switch to an unencrypted connection once you are logged in and viewing your email. That situation is the same for any browser you might be using, it's not unique to using Firefox, but Firefox warns you when the connection goes from encrypted to unencrypted so that you are aware that your communication might be vulnerable to snooping especially if you are using a wireless connection.

How can I change the numeric and enum default values in a Strict Type Def Cluster?

I have a Strict Type Def cluster that contains 10 Numerical controls and a number of enums. I have edited default values of the numerical controls in the Strict Type Def, in customize mode, performed a "Make Current Values Default" and have done a "Apply Changes" and saved.
This cluster is used in various locations throughout the project and have not found a way to make the cluster default values change downstream. The Strict Type Def (STD) Control appears to have the right values on the front panel. But if I place an instance of this on a blank front panel, and run a wire from it in the block diagram with a probe and indicator, I still get the old default values being passed from the STD.

There Are No Strict Type Definition Constants
"Even though typedefs only update when types change, instances get cosmetic changes from the definition whenever they update. So one trick to "push" changes to typedef instances is to change the data type, apply changes, and then change the data type back. The class you mention uses a Socket connection.
If you read the source you will see how it does it.
If you use a debugger yu will see the code which is most relevent.

Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
          8.8.8.8
          8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. Ipad will connect no problem to other networks.

First thing you need I think is to get your iMac connected to the Internet.
Shut down your iMac and you iPad. Then power off your router. Wait 30 seconds and power up the router.
After the router indicates that it is connected to the Internet then start up your iMac and see if it connects. If the iMac connects to the Internet then your iPad should too.
If this power up sequence doesn't work you'll have to dig into the router setup to make sure it is working properly.

Just go to "Settings > iCloud" scroll down and delete the account, if you don't want to use it on your phone anymore. After you delted it from your device you will be able to sign in again to use another one for iCloud.

I have copied a number of SSID packages from a live server to my test server and am trying to get them up and running but I have a problem with the connection. The only thing that is different is the server name. I decided to keep the same connection in the connection manager as it is referenced in a dtsConfig file. I changed the dtsConfig file to reference the new servername [Data Source= new test server name]. I also check my paths and they are pointing to the correct config locations etc.
I found this post which was similar to my problem but I still get problems with the connection

I updated the connection by changing the server name in the actual connection. I did this from the data flow tab in the Connection Managers sections (MS Visual Studio). Right clicked - Edit - changed the name of the server name to my test server and selected the database. Test connection was fine, and saved this.
Once I saved this, the connection string changed to my current test server in the properties of the connection. However when I run the package I get the following error:
Error: 0xC0202009 at ReportsImport, Connection manager "myconnectionstring": SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR.  An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005.
An OLE DB record is available.  Source: "Microsoft SQL Native Client"  Hresult: 0x80004005  Description: "Login timeout expired".

So even if I change the existing connection properties and save and Build my package again, my connection properties (connectionstring, servername etc) all revert back to its original data source when I re-open the package. Simply it does not seem to be saving the connection properties i put in.
What am I doing wrong or how can I change the existing connection manager to look at the new server. The database is the same and I have full admin privilege on the server.
I don't want to recreate my packages as there are alot and they are not simple.
After changing the connection properties, saving and reloading I get a connection error. But this is because it is not retaining the new connection manger setting i entered.
Incidentally - I created a new SSID to perform a simple connection and write to the the server and it was OK so there is no problem with actually seeing the my test server.

Yes, the package is in visual studio and I have executed it. There are no errors but in the output i have the error message about my connection. My dtsConfig file is added to the project in the 'Package Configuration Organizer' and path and files are correct. This is the output error:

I will try and run it using dtexec.exe. if I have two config files do i use
