However, I'm guessing that incompatible RAM is the likely problem, especially if the problem goes away when you revert to the original RAM. It's worth mentioning that there have been many, many reports on here where users have experienced KP's after upgrading to 32gb of RAM. Swapping the RAM for a known 'good' brand usually solves the problem.

IPod touch Generation 3 keeps turning off after taken off of the charger. How can I fix this?

My iPod touch will not stay on after I take it off the charger. When its on the charger it says it is completely charged. I can do everything on my iPod when its on the charger but as soon as I take it off the charger it turns off. When I try to turn it back on all it shows is the apple for a while and then it turns back off. How do I fix this?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. Could be a bad battery

Yes. Just copy the purchase to the user account/computer and drag it into the iTunes window or use the Add to Library command. If iTunes isn't authorized to the iTunes Store account the purchase was made through, you'll just have to authorize that system.

All you can do is get a newer model iPod. The 2G can only go as high as 4.2.1. Its hardare does not support a higher iOS version

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.

I have no idea except it should be many years.. However, you should almost fully discharge the battery monthly to maximize the battery life in in the eventwant to use it on the battery.
