Can I combine single appointment 1, 2, 3 to one recurring appointment in outlook?

I schedule three single appointment from outlook from calendar, can I combine these single appointments to one recurring appointment by outlook API?

Hello Xian,
The Outlook object model doesn't provide any direct method for combining existing appointments into a series. You need to use the
GetRecurrencePattern method of the AppointmentItem class to set up
a RecurrencePattern object
that represents the recurrence attributes of an appointment. If there is no existing recurrence pattern, a new empty RecurrencePattern object is returned.
Thus, you can choose the first appointment item on the calendar and set up its recurrence pattern, then you will need to delete old two appointments.
Here is what MSDN states for recurrent appointments:
When you work with recurring appointment items, you should release any prior references, obtain new references to the recurring appointment item before you access or modify the item, and release these references as soon as you are finished and have saved
the changes. This practice applies to the recurring AppointmentItem object,
and any Exception or RecurrencePattern object.
In C#, explicitly release the memory for that object (see ReleaseComObject method of the Marshal class).
Note that even after you release your reference and attempt to obtain a new reference, if there is still an active reference, held by another add-in or Outlook, to one of the above objects, your new reference will still point to an out-of-date
copy of the object. Therefore, it is important that you release your references as soon as you are finished with the recurring appointment.

We have itunes music on a computer, an ipod nano, and a new ipod touch under two different accounts. How can we combine the music from both accounts to one device?

There is no "adding" a device.  Simply plug the iDevice into the computer.  iTunes should automatically detect the device when it is connected.
iTunes can sync/manage as many iDevices as you want... there is no 1 device limit.

When I import my music files to iTunes will I be creating new files for every file I import? If the answer is YES; where are those files going to be stored and how much space will they use?
To begin with you can't manage FLAC in iTunes. The use of iTunes is at this moment limited to WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, AAC and MP3. But that's not a problem because if I understand you correctly you want to organize the MP3-files in iTunes.
When you import music files you can let iTunes copy all files and put it in an iTunes-media-Folder. You can make the choice in preferences-->tab advanced.
If you deselect the second blue checkbox (sorry, in Dutch) iTunes won't copy files as you import the files in your library. It will use the files from the place they are on the disk now. So you have a choice. But if you want iTunes to copy them, they will be placed in a folder called iTunesMedia. This is how it placed on your disk.
All files will be put in one music folder well ordered by artist and albums. If you want to make a backup of all your music you just have to copy the iTunes folder to another disk. You can backup all music at once. How much space they will use depends on the bitrate of the MP3 and whether you add more tagging to it. You can have iTunes add album artwork. That means adding gif or jpg files to your library. Are you using bitrate 320 for your MP3?
If you tell me I can give you estimates on the disk-space you will need.

  • Can I combine two partitions without losing data on one?

So if I have two partitions on one hard drive can I combine them without losing the data that is on one of them?  If not, could I just do a time machine backup, combine the two partitions, and then restore the time machine backup?  Would that work?

If the other partition was created with BootCamp it can be deleted in Bootcamp and merged back into OS X.
It might be possible to rename the partition "BOOTCAMP" in Disk Utility and formatted MSDOS to trick Boot Camp into thinking it is a Bootcamp parititon and merging it back into OS X. (haven't tried this so I don't know if it works or not yet) I would first make a clone below before attempting this method.
TimeMachine restores are fraught with problems on these forums.
What I would do in your case is use another equal or larger sized (than your primary boot drive), blank, Disk Utility HFS+Journaled formatted, external powered drive to Carbon Copy Clone your OS X boot partition to it, then Disk Utility > Repair Permissions on both (you can ignore the list that shows).
What this does is gives you a "hold the option key" bootable clone, which while booted from it, check it out first and then use Disk Utility to completey (select the hard drive name) format the entire primary boot drive (HFS+ Journaled of course).
Then simply CCC back onto the primary boot drive. Then run ALL of OnyX's maintainence and cleaning aspects and reboot. Speedy machine here we come.   (note: Cloning optimizes the drive by the order of the alphabetical order files in the Root Level, leaving "Users" last where the most change and slowdown in drive performance occurs, OnyX cleans out the caches and rebuilds Spotlight, more performance)

The new version of CCC has gotten a bit more complicated, including a archiving of files changed from between updated clones, however the default settings are fine for your first time clone to a blank drive. So all you really have to do is select the "From" and "To" drives and click Clone.
Clones are wonderful, it's a exact copy of whats on your primary boot drive, so far in the many years I've used clones everything has worked on the same machine, everything.
TimeMachine drives are not bootable, leaving you stuck if your hard drive dies or you can't boot from the OS X install disks.
You can first make a clone so you have that method, then c boot off the 10.6 installer disk and use TimeMachine that way to restore to the newly formatted drive (use Disk Utility under the Utilities menu, second screen in) I haven't tried this myself, prefering clones instead as it's less headaches.
Remmeber to ALWAYS have two backups of your data at all times, (erasing your drive leaves you with only one copy) in this case you would have a clone and a TM backup, in case one method fails (less likely the clone), then you got the other method.

  • How can I combine post to two different tables with one form?

I am trying to create a "phantom" record in a table to be used later in a report. How can I create a form and properly $_POST to two different tables? Thanks for any suggestions!

In POST processing, just do the insert to one table, followed by the insert to the second table. I don't understand where you are getting stuck.
Sometimes when we do an insert, we need the auto-generated ID from the newly created record as a "foreign key" for the record created in the second insert. MySQL has a nifty solution for that. The specific code depends on whether you are using the mysql, mysqli or PDO database connection.

  • HT203167 Single CD to ITunes creates several albums. How can I combine to get album back together

Transferring a single CD to ITunes, I get 2 or 3 'albums', a couple containing only one or 2 songs from the CD. How in ITunes can I combine these separate 'albums' to get the complete album back under one? Or what do I need to do in "import" set up to make sure CD is imported as an album rather than by artist?

Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.

How can I combine three completed imovie 09 projects (They all have text & sound) to make one single movie? Thank you for any help you can give.

If they are three separate projects than you will have to export all three as video files. Then you can reimport them into a new event, join them together as if they are ordinary clips, and export that.

How do i combine single pages into documents with Adobe?

    Hi zebideeplus,
Using Reader, you need to purchase subscription for Adobe PDF Pack  to combine PDF files into single document.
Refer: Acrobat.com Help | Adobe PDF Pack FAQ
But, if you need to combine single pages, then it can be done with Adobe Acrobat only.
Let me know if you have further queries.

    Hello Halfback71,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
If you are wondering how using multiple Apple IDs relate to iCloud, see Apple IDs and iCloud.
    Best of luck,

  • How can I combine two itunes accounts into one?

How can I combine two itunes accounts into one?

Items purchased from the iTunes Store are permanently associated with the account from which they were originally purchased.  Apple provides no way to change this.
However, if you wish to put content from two accounts into a single iTunes library, you can easily do so.  Use the command File > Add File (or Folder) to Library.

  • How can I combine several Library Bundles?

I updated my Projects and Events in 3 stages with the (unexpected by me)  result that I now have 3 separate Libraries on my WD 2TB drive (see screenshot).
I would like to consolidate/combine them into the original "WD 2TB's projects and events"  Library but can't find any way of doing it.

afai understand the concept, you don't/can not combine Libraries, but its contents.
So, when the process of updating your yet material lead to three libs, you can only drag the CONTENT of lib2 + 3 into lib1. Content is Events and Projects and perhaps single files.
After doing so, lib2 and 3 get obsolete. And could be erased.
… what I can not answer: How can you be sure, the REAL content was moved, and not just hard-links?
… in Finder, those hard-links/symLinks look&feel the same as the real file...
Perhaps, you should do a backup first, try it with one Lib first, erase it, and look, what happens.
You're my guinea pig! I haven't updated my Libs yet… and I do have some 'smart' scheme: Each Event is one game-day = simple. Each Project shows this game-day = simple. BUT each Project uses material from some 'generic Event' = should be simple too. And I'm using e.g. 'graphics' outside FinalCut, in my 'Pictures' folder. AND I do have some Events containing the real files, and I do have Events containing just links to some sources (=back-up copies of media) on other drives... having here 4TB of data makes it a bit 'unrealistic' to work with back-ups… keeping in mind I want to update before end of 2014 ....
In theory, the actual Lib/Events/Project scheme exactly hits my personal needs. But will the update 'understand' my manual scheme, I did establish the last 2years........ ?
My plan is: a Lib per season/One Event per game, containing material from 3-6 cams/ 1 game = 1 project. And one Lib containing 'shared' media in use for all game-reports …
    fingers crossed...
… and what will happen, when 'our Doc' from India discovers this new scheme?
Cupertino should use him and his arrays-of-drive-clones as 'worst case scenario' ...
if FCPX manages to handle that, it handles everything!
    (no offense meant, somana!)

  • HT204053 Can I combine 2 Apple IDs/accounts into 1?

How can I combine my Apple ID/iTunes account on my pc to my iPhone and iPad?  I've had an old iTunes account on my pc (300+ songs) and hadn't been using it that was combined with an old iPod Touch.  Since then I've reset and sold my iPod Touch and I want to put that music and those apps on my iPhone and iPad.  How do I do this?  Please help!

Click here and follow the instructions; Apple IDs can't be combined, but you can have content from up to five Apple IDs in a single iTunes library without running into problems syncing devices.
