Can I sell my copy of DW to my company?

I've been using DW as a hobbyist. Now I plan to start my own
business.
If I register the business can I sell my copy of DW to my
company?
The reason is so when I get a new PC with a new OS for my
business, I can use this copy of DW on the new OS without buying a
new copy of DW.
I'm thinking this should be OK because the business is a
separate entity?

The only thing that would matter down the road is later on
with registration if your company were to purchase more licenses
moving into the Adobe TLP program. Then you would probably want to
change the registration down the road just to say that you are part
of X company.
Also as Joe mentioned, the educational license would prohibit
you from using DW for commercial use, *UNTIL* you upgrade once via
the regular commercial program, which is what Adobe allows, thus
changing the license from educational to commercial. This could
possibly be done with the same license, but I believe it involves
paying the retail difference to Adobe.

  • I no longer use Windows 2012 Essentials, can I sell my copy?

I no longer use and uninstalled my copy of 2012 Windows Server Essentials from my home server, just overkill for a home server.
I would like to know if it's possible to sell my copy of the software with key.
    Thanks,
    John

I have an OEM copy of Windows Server 2012 Essentials that was purchased from Newegg.  The seal that must be broken to open the package has this statement,
"Warning:  If you are a System Builder: by opening this package you agree that yu have read and understood the Microsoft OEM System Builder License affixed to this package and agree to its terms and conditions.  If you are purchasing this product
for personal use: by opening this package you agree that you have read and understood the license terms at www.windows.com/personaluselicense and agree to its terms and conditions."
The OEM System Builder License affixed to the back of the package also begins with the statement,
"IF YOU ARE NOT A SYSTEM BUILDER AND ARE INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT FOR PERSONAL USE, REFER TO WWW.WINDOWS.COM/PERSONALUSELICENSE FOR TERMS THAT APPLY TO YOU."
    The website
http://www.windows.com/personaluselicense only allows you to choose OEM versions of Windows 8, so I chose Windows 8 Pro (OEM Version) from the list.  The personal use license has this in it:
Can I transfer the software to another computer or user? You may transfer the software to another computer that belongs
to you. You may also transfer the software (together with the license) to a computer owned by
someone else if a) you are the first licensed user of the software and b) the new user agrees to the terms of this agreement. To make that transfer, you must transfer the original media, the certificate of authenticity,
the product key and the proof of purchase directly to that other person, without retaining any copies of the software. You may use the backup copy we allow you to make or the media that the software came on to transfer the software.
Anytime you transfer the software to a new computer, you must remove the software from the prior computer. You may not transfer the software to share licenses between computers. You may transfer Get Genuine Windows
software, Pro Pack or Media Center Pack software only together with the licensed computer.
So with that information, it appears that those who have only installed the product for personal use and follow the rules listed above, can sell the software and license together to another individual.

  • Can i sell my copy of cs6 after i have uninstalled it from my computer

i no longer use cs6 since i now use Photoshop CC. Can i pass on my CS6 to someone else so the can register , activate it

I find responses like this a bit funny. Whenever I buy a new piece of software the first thing I do is take a picture of the license/serial number and I have a Text and Word document with all those licenses that is stored in the My Documents folder, Windows, or Document folder, Mac, and that gets copied to all my computers and backed up to multiple external drives and in my imaging of the hard drives or Time Machine on a Mac.
There are many way to record the serial/license numbers other than Registering with the writers of the program.
What I find incredibly odd is why others don't do that. If you can't take the time to create a text or word processing document with the license/serial numbers of that expensive software you probably won't take the time to register it.
That is the users fault and nothing will save them.

And of course it is your software, do as you wish.
Registration is backup proof of ownership of very expensive software.
I have fielded too many posts over the years about lost emails, receipts, and serial numbers or even traveling somewhere and needing to re-enter the number.
"My stuff was placed in storage at my cousin's place three states away, I need my serial number."
"So, no problem, go under your account, My Products and your serial number is there, where you registered it"
"Uhh...I didn't register my $700 Photoshop.  Is there any other way?"
"Yeah, road trip. Enjoy your stay while going through everything."

  • Can I sell my copy without problems?

I bought a new Family Pack OSX Leopard when it first came out. I have since bought Snow Leopard, and the original is now redundant. If I sell (or even give away) my original retail pack of Leopard, will the new owner be able to install it without problems? I seem to remember doing this with Tiger and not having a problem.

If you bought the $29 upgrade version of Snow Leopard you still need the Leopard disks.
If you bought the full version of Snow Leopard, then you don't need the Leopard disks.

  • How can I use the "Copy and paste" tool in order get stamps in the same position in different pages (Acrobat XI for PC)?

With Acrobat 6.0 I was able to copy a stamp in the same position (I mean "exactly" the same one) of different pages just by using the "copy/past" tool.
Now I am using Acrobat XI and it seems like it is not possible anymore: I am copying a stamp and I am trying to past it in anoter page, but it appears in the center of the page (or wherever it wants to...).
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much. I'll be waiting for you message.

Well, I was in the same situation so I've developed a tool that allows one to do it. I will send you some additional information about it in a private message.

Login with your Apple ID account (the one you purchase Logic)
Go to the Purchases tab where you find all the apps that you purchased with that Apple ID
Any app that is not installed on the current computer is ready for download

I accidentally deleted GarageBand on my MacBook Pro, version 10.6.8.  The new version of GarageBand is only compatible with 10.9 and above.  Is it possible to still get the older version?  OR, can I get another copy of the startup CD that came with my computer so that I can reinstall GarageBand?

The new version of GarageBand is only compatible with 10.9 and above.
If your Mac can run MacOS X 10.6.8, it probably can be upgraded to Yosemite, if you don't have to stick to Snowleopard for other reasons.
Is it possible to still get the older version?
Amazon or eBay are still selling iLife '11 installer disks, and you could reinstall GarageBand from these DVDs. But it will be expensive.
Have you checked your backups, if you can restore GarageBand from a backup?
OR, can I get another copy of the startup CD that came with my computer so that I can reinstall GarageBand?
Sometimes the AppleStore Support will replace missing installer CDs for a fee.

  • How can I put up a free version of a book in countries I can't sell to, using iBooks Author

I have released a paid version of a book on Flags and Anthems of the World to the 51 countries I can sell it to, but how would I be able to up the same book for free to the rest of the countries that I can't sell to, because I don't want them to be left out.
Should I create a new free books account or something ? Is it even a possibility ?

I think you have to use some other store.  The iBookstore only covers 51 countries.
Or you can put the book on your own website for customers to download.

I've never used Print Booklet or your printer, but some things are determined by the printer and printer software, rather than the program from which you are printing. You might want to see if Xerox's website has any info also.

  • Can I use a copy of Windows XP?

I burned a copy of Windows XP from my original disc... and I'm glad I did, because I lost the original. Can I use my copy to install onto Boot Camp?

I'm pretty sure the disk will function. The real question is do you have the Product Key numbers. That is what your money goes to when you purchase an operating system disk. Without the numbers you cannot activate the installed software. And of course you can only use the numbers on one machine.
