Can I set a window out of focus permanently?

The reason I am trying to do this is because I want the Title Bar at the top of the screen to be set to grey permanently. I have tried 1000 other things to do this and nothing has worked so far. So I am curious if it is possible to set a window to look as if it is permanently out of focus? Any other suggestions on how to make the title bar grey are also welcome.

Two things I would try.
1st, set the next focusable item to itself
2st, listen to the window event, I think there is an event for focus about to lose. Set up an eventhandler to set the focus to itself again.

Yes, but its usefulness depends on what you are trying to do.
In and Out Points are no longer options on ingesting clips (formerly "Logging and Capturing") into FCP.
You can use I/O Points to select clips in the clip browser (good for attaching keywords & metadata...a nice addition to the new FCPX). I honestly haven't used I/O points in the Timeline to understand it's complete functionality.

my problem is i have some drawing in the panel.when i minimize the window it will disappear because it is dynamically getting drawn.So, for capuring the old drawing, i store the coordinates into the vector and
trying to redraw by calling a method when applet gets
maximized.
Initially the application was a stand alone , so i used
JFrame and window listener and whenever frame gets activated , i used to redraw the line . Now we have changed to applet.
And i tried to implement window listener, i could not able to add listener to the contenetPane.
So i decided to call my drawing method from START(),Since start is been called whenever applet is activated.I decided to do so.
But the problem is ,it is calling the method,identifying the
coordinates but the lines are not appearing in the screen.
My suspection is, it is drawing the line and once again
repainting the screen automatically.
If u people wants to see am ready to post the code.

Can I set folder window appearance for a DVD-ROM I'm creating?

I'm making a DVD-ROM project that my organizaion is going to have duplicated. I'd like the main folder window to have the same appearance (always open in icon view, have a specific background image, sort-by-name, etc.). Is there a way to set this so it will be stored with the folders? Would this have something to do with the .DS_Store file?
A NOTE: This is gong to be a PC+Mac disc, so the file system won't be HFS+. It's a DVD-ROM of an audio series using a web-based interface. I am running Snow Leopard on my desktop and Lion on my laptop. Not sure if any of these details help.

You can adjust your screen resolution.
To modify it do the following:

When I run a form on the web, the Java Applet is loaded and the form appear in the window. But "base window" have gived dimensions indifferent what dimensions has the window of the form which I run.
So, where can I set the dimensions of the "core window" which is behind the MDI window of the application?

in formsweb.cfg you will find parameters "width" and "height". You can set absolute values in pixels or "relative" in percent.

Can't set up windows on bootcamp, keyboard doesn't work

okay, i wait through the agony of the windows install non-sense, and it comes up to the part where i have to set up windows (name, accounts, etc.). But when i go to enter all my info, my keyboard doesn't work, or my mouse for that matter. I have a 24" iMac with the wireless keyboard and mouse. I don't know what to do!

I have let the Mac OS-X software update run (Java and a few other things), and now when I want a finder window by clicking on the smiling blue face or with command-N, I get a stripped window with only the volumes but no tool bar nor the folders short cuts. How can I restore the full window by default? I can still get the whole window set from the menu bar or with a 3 keys command, but I don't remember where I can set that to be the default window... thanks!

How can I set up an out of office message?

I use Macmail for my mac.com account and also to receive my business emails through another server. I have tried to use rules to respond with an "out of office" message but it has not gone well. The system responded to year old emails and flooded our email. I have read on some support sites about setting up through the server but I do not understand. I need a response that is not overly technical as I do not understand what I am reading if tech lingo is used...sorry but I try!

You might want to check with your email service provider. They often have this option built into their service. For example, I have an email account with Verizon. They have a "vacation" setting that when turned on will send an automatic reply for you. Your incoming email is otherwise delivered normally.

Perhaps rephrase the question. It's unclear what you mean by 'setting' the three icons. If you're just talking about listening for close events and the like, you need something like this..

Can't Set In And Out Points

HI guys,
Problem here. I'm trying to use Control-P to navigate to a specific spot in my clips (in the Event browser, not the timeline). When I type "Control-P" and then type, for instance, "253809" (To go to 25:38:09), the Dashboard instead displays "25:37:08", and goes there instead. Why is this? Am I doing something wrong?

Have you verified that your Windows 8.1 is a Pro or Enterprise edition? The Basic edition cannot join a domain.

I can't seem to set a default font size in Safari 6.0. I can zoom in and zoom out, but everytime I close the window and reopen, it's back to being huge again. Any suggestions? To be clear, I'm trying to make the font size smaller.

In Safari > Preferences > Advanced the smallest the font size can be set to is 9.
