Can I use Bridge to export image data into a .txt file?

I have a folder of images and I would like to export the File Name, Resolution, Dimensions and Color Mode for each file into one text file. Can I use Bridge to export image data into a .txt file?

Hello
You may try the following AppleScript script. It will ask you to choose a root folder where to start searching for *.map files and then create a CSV file named "out.csv" on desktop which you may import to Excel.
set f to (choose folder with prompt "Choose the root folder to start searching")'s POSIX path
if f ends with "/" then set f to f's text 1 thru -2
do shell script "/usr/bin/perl -CSDA -w <<'EOF' - " & f's quoted form & " > ~/Desktop/out.csv
use strict;
use open IN => ':crlf';
chdir $ARGV[0] or die qq($!);
local $/ = qq(\\0);
my @ff = map {chomp; $_} qx(find . -type f -iname '*.map' -print0);
local $/ = qq(\\n);
#     CSV spec
#     - record separator is CRLF
#     - field separator is comma
#     - every field is quoted
#     - text encoding is UTF-8
local $\\ = qq(\\015\\012);    # CRLF
local $, = qq(,);            # COMMA
# print column header row
my @dd = ('column 1', 'column 2', 'column 3', 'column 4', 'column 5', 'column 6');
print map { s/\"/\"\"/og; qq(\").$_.qq(\"); } @dd;
# print data row per each file
while (@ff) {
    my $f = shift @ff;    # file path
    if ( ! open(IN, '<', $f) ) {
        warn qq(Failed to open $f: $!);
        next;
    $f =~ s%^.*/%%og;    # file name
    @dd = ('', $f, '', '', '', '');
    while (<IN>) {
        chomp;
        $dd[0] = \"$2/$1/$3\" if m%Link Time\\s+=\\s+([0-9]{2})/([0-9]{2})/([0-9]{4})%o;
        ($dd[2] = $1) =~ s/ //g if m/([0-9 ]+)\\s+bytes of CODE\\s/o;
        ($dd[3] = $1) =~ s/ //g if m/([0-9 ]+)\\s+bytes of DATA\\s/o;
        ($dd[4] = $1) =~ s/ //g if m/([0-9 ]+)\\s+bytes of XDATA\\s/o;
        ($dd[5] = $1) =~ s/ //g if m/([0-9 ]+)\\s+bytes of FARCODE\\s/o;
        last unless grep { /^$/ } @dd;
    close IN;

  • How to export image data into XDP

    Hi, All
      I'm working on a healthcare project that needs to export the doctor's signature image into XDP file from the database to fill in the Insurance company claim form. My question is how to export image data into a field node in the XDP file, we know the name of the image field which defined in the PDF form, Is it something like:
      the signature image data ?
    Should the image data in this node be base64 encoded or text encoded or something else?
    Can the image be any kind? e.g. BMP, PNG, JPEG, ..., etc?
    Thanks
    William

    Hi Andre,
    Document will be of ASCII characters right?? but image data will be in binary format. as per database concept it is stored as binary large object. But in datawarehousing the back end is also going to be some database such as Oracle or other DBs.
    which can take blob's. so it would be possible to store the binary data.
    If any one has faced this situation can reply.to this ques.
    can post the step to load image(jpg/bmp or any image format) data in to info cube??
    hi andre if u have done loading image data as you say.pls reply me if you have the steps with you.
    thanks Andre

    Hi Lucky,
    Thanks for your reply,
    What iam trying is ...Iam trying to load the data from legacy tables(3) into oracle staging tables.But i need to load the same source data into two staging tables(these staging tables are in two different schemas)
    can i load this source data into two staging tables by using single standard interface(some business logic is there)
    If i can then give me some suggestion how to do that

  • How can I use Automator to extract specific Data from a text file?

    I have several hundred text files that contain a bunch of information. I only need six values from each file and ideally I need them as columns in an excel file.
    How can I use Automator to extract specific Data from the text files and either create a new text file or excel file with the info? I have looked all over but can't find a solution. If anyone could please help I would be eternally grateful!!! If there is another, better solution than automator, please let me know!
    Example of File Contents:
    Link Time =
    DD/MMM/YYYY
    Random
    Text
    161 179
    bytes of CODE    memory (+                68 range fill )
    16 789
    bytes of DATA    memory (+    59 absolute )
    1 875
    bytes of XDATA   memory (+ 1 855 absolute )
    90 783
    bytes of FARCODE memory
    What I would like to have as a final file:
    EXCEL COLUMN1
    Column 2
    Column3
    Column4
    Column5
    Column6
    MM/DD/YYYY
    filename1
    161179
    16789
    1875
    90783
    MM/DD/YYYY
    filename2
    xxxxxx
    xxxxx
    xxxx
    xxxxx
    MM/DD/YYYY
    filename3
    xxxxxx
    xxxxx
    xxxx
    xxxxx
    Is this possible? I can't imagine having to go through each and every file one by one. Please help!!!

  • Can I use a formula to show data in a indesign file?

    I am wondering if it is possible to pull some data from within a file within indesign or illustrator.  I would like to create a shape filled with CMYK values and then was hoping to create a formula or script that would show the values of the shapes color build.  Is this possible if so how?

    DVD@cess works for all sorts of stuff- a link to a website, links to all sorts of files on the disc. It's very cool feature.
    One gotcha for PC's: there's a one time install of a little applet needed to be fully functional on a pc- otherwise you'd have to go to the root level of the dvd to open any files.

  • Problem of writing data into a txt. file

    How can I write the product1 object into the testing.txt?
    Product product1 = new Product();
      product1.addNewProduct(1234, "coffee", 0.89, 23, 23.4, "12/12/2008", "catCoffee", "20/11/2007");
      try
        FileWriter writer = new FileWriter("C:\\Documents and Settings\\Charles\\My Documents\\testing.txt");
       // How can I write the product1 object into the testing.txt?
        writer.write("Testing");
        writer.close();
      catch (IOException ex)
          ex.printStackTrace();
      }

    Using ObjectOutputStream with a FileOutputStream is relatively easy but it won't produce a "text" file. If your desire is to produce a file that is human readable you'll need to go another route.
    by using ObjectOutputStream with a FileOutputStream u will have to read UTF or byte(for String) and write UTF or byte (forString)..
    try using
    PrintWriter abc=new PrintWriter(new FileWriter(Filename));
    /// and to write into filename use
    abc.println(String or may be product1.addNewProduct);

  • Export table data in a flat file without using FL

    Hi,
    I am looking for options where I can export table data into a flat file without using FL(File Layout) i.e., by using App Engine only.
    Please share your experience if you did anything as this
    Thanks

    A simple way to export any record (table/view) to an csv fiel, is to create a rowset and loop through all record fields, like below example code
    Local Rowset &RS;
    Local Record &Rec;
    Local File &MYFILE;
    Local string &FileName, &strRecName, &Line, &Seperator, &Value;
    Local number &numRow, &numField;
    &FileName = "c:\temp\test.csv";
    &strRecName = "PSOPRDEFN";
    &Seperator = ";";
    &RS = CreateRowset(@("Record." | &strRecName));
    &RS.Fill();
    &MYFILE = GetFile(&FileName, "W", %FilePath_Absolute);
    If &MYFILE.IsOpen Then
       For &numRow = 1 To &RS.ActiveRowCount
          &Rec = &RS(&numRow).GetRecord(@("RECORD." | &strRecName));
          For &numField = 1 To &Rec.FieldCount
             &Value = String(&Rec.GetField(&numField).Value);
             If &numField = 1 Then
                &Line = &Value;
             Else
                &Line = &Line | &Seperator | &Value;
             End-If;
          End-For;
          &MYFILE.WriteLine(&Line);
       End-For;
    End-If;
    &MYFILE.Close(); You can of course create an application class for generic calling this piece of code.
    Hope it helps.
    Note:
    Do not come complaining to me on performance issues ;)

  • Exporting query results into a csv file using arabic and hebrew chars

    Hi,
    iv'e encountered a problem, using plsql to export a query into a csv file.. the arabic turns into question mark. Do you have any idea why?

    Usually this indicates a mismatch between client and database character set.
    How do you export this query?
    What is your database version?
    What is your client OS?

  • Export multiple tables into one flat file

    I have data in multiple tables on a processing database that I need to move up to a production database. I want to export the data into a flat file, ftp it to the production server and have another job pick up the file and process it. I am looking for
    design suggestions on how to get multiple tables into one flat file using SSIS?
    Thank You.

    Hey,
    Without a bit more detail, as per Russels response, its difficult to give an exact recommendation.
    Essentially, you would first add a data flow task to your control flow.  Create a source per table, then direct the output of each into an union all task.  The output from the union all task would then be directed to a flat file destination.
    Within the union all task you can map the various input columns into the appropriate outputs.
    If the sources are different, it would probably be easiest to add a derived column task in-between the source and the union all, adding columns as appropriate and setting a default value that can be easily identified later (again depending on your requirements).
    Hope that helps,
    Jamie

  • Populate a table reading the data from a TXT file

    how can I populate a table reading the data from a TXT file?
    thanks

    Hey Kevin!
    Using FORMS.TEXT_IO to bulk load data from a file strikes me as re-inventing the wheel. It is just about justifiable in a self-service environment, but I regard the EXTERNAL TABLE is a better solution for that situation as well.
    The same applies to UTL_FILE. I think the ability to read text with UTL_FILE is primarily intended for read file-based configuration or file manipulation/processing rather than data loading.
    Re-writing a text file into SQL statements is too much like hard work (even with an editor that supports macro definition and regular expressions) for no real benefit. You lose all the bulk load peformance you would get from SQL*Loader. But for QAD I'd probably let you off with it.
    You missed out one obvious alternative: using Java to turn the contents of an XML file into a CLOB and inserting it into a table which is read by a PL/SQL procedure that parses the XML records and insert the retrieved data into a table.
    Stay lucky, APC

  • Can I use Bridge CS6 as a central image database for linking to multiple documents?

    It's only really good for Adobe document formats, if you want to be able to view and/or tag documents.

    Dear SHo0o0sh;
    yes u can run it on client side but the client must have Microsoft office
    like this :
    PROCEDURE init_excel (application in out client_ole2.obj_type ,
    workbooks in out client_ole2.obj_type ,
    workbook in out client_ole2.obj_type ,
    worksheets in out client_ole2.obj_type ,
    worksheet in out client_ole2.obj_type )IS
    args client_ole2.list_type;
    begin
    application:=client_ole2.create_obj('EXCEL.APPLICATION');
    workbooks:=client_ole2.get_obj_property(application,'workbooks');
    args:=client_ole2.create_arglist;
    client_ole2.add_arg(args,1);
    workbook:=client_ole2.get_obj_property(workbooks,'add',args);
    client_ole2.destroy_arglist(args);
    worksheets:=client_ole2.get_obj_property(workbook,'worksheets');
    worksheet:=client_ole2.get_obj_property(worksheets,'add');
    write_cell(worksheet , cell , 1 ,1 ,'your data');
    write_cell(worksheet , cell , 1 ,2 ,'your data');
    release_excel (application,
    workbooks,
    workbook ,
    worksheets ,
    worksheet);
    end;
    PROCEDURE write_cell (worksheet client_ole2.obj_type,
    cell in out client_ole2.obj_type,
    x number , y number , text varchar2) IS
    args client_ole2.list_type;
    BEGIN
    args:=client_ole2.create_arglist;
    client_ole2.add_arg(args,x);
    client_ole2.add_arg(args,y);
    cell:=client_ole2.get_obj_property(worksheet,'cells',args);
    client_ole2.destroy_arglist(args);
    client_ole2.set_property(cell,'value',text);
    client_ole2.release_obj(cell);
    END;
    Hope it works.
