I have code in a backing bean that executes as a value change listener. What I want to do is have this code execute on first page load. So what I am asking is:
if I implement the PagePhaseListener interface on the backing bean class, will I be able to access the #{bindings} object during the beforePhase() and afterPhase() methods.

Can I use multiple p class="logos" tag with the same name within the same html page?

I was told not to use <div class> tags too many times. I was using them for text, images, to clear floats, I basically built my website using multiple <div class> tags. So if I can't use multiple <div class> tags could I use tags multiple times in the same html page?
I have a string of logos at the bottom of my webpage which will all be using the same css characteristics for all logos. Would this be the proper way to write the code:

HT1338 I am taking online classes. Can I use the camera on my macbook pro on blackboard collaborate?

I am taking online classes. We use Blackboard. We are going to use Blackboard Collaborate this week. Can I use the camera
on my computer to view myself and the others in my class? The camera is connected to FaceTime, so I was not sure how that
worked.

Blackboard Collaborate claims it is compatible with Safari 5.1 or later and Mountain Lion, or latest Firefox. When I went to their support page, it borked and said my operating system was not compatible. It also then checked and reported that I had Java Webstart 1.6 installed.
Looks like a real pain of proprietary stuff. Probably wants to use Java to take over the camera.

how can one change the color of JToolTip background from Purple to user defined ? I am using setToolTipText() method to set the text required but here the background color of the ToolTip is Purple and i wish to change it to white.. how can i do it ?

How to use the Rectangle class to draw an image and center it in a JPanel

I sent an earlier post on how to center an image in a JPanel using the Rectangle class. I was asked to send an executable code which will show the malfunction. The code below is an executable code and a small part of a very big project. To simplifiy things, it is just a JFrame and a JPanel with an open dialog. Once executed the JFrame and the FileDialog will open. You can then navigate to a .gif or a .jpg picture and open it. What I want is for the picture to be centered in the middle of the JPanel and not the upper left corner. It is also important to stress that, I am usinig the Rectangle class to draw the Image. The region of interest is where the rectangle is created. In the constructor of the CenterRect class, I initialize the Rectangle class. Then I use paintComponent in the CenterRect class to draw the Image. The other classes are just support classes. The MyImage class is an extended image class which also has a draw() method. Any assistance in getting the Rectangle to show at the center of the JPanel without affecting the size and shape of the image will be greatly appreciated.

You want to use a combination of three features, a button on the panel,
code to notice value changes using either polling in a state machine of
some sort or an event structure, and a VI Server property node to set
the Visible property of the VI being opened and closed.
The button exists on the controlling panel. The code to notice value
changes is probably on the controlling panel's diagram, and this diagram
sets the Visible property node of a VI class property node to FALSE or

The Implementation Class must reflect the full name of the class. For instance, if the full class name is : xx.yyy.zz.class_name, then put this in the Implementation Class property of the corresponding item.
Also, the class must be stored in the equivalent directory structure, so that, in my example: <DEV_HOME>/forms/java/xx/yyy/zz

i use the sessionbean+toplink structure,after i finish the o-r mapping by using the mapping work bench,i generate the project xml file,then in the "session.xml" file,i refer to the project xml,then i can use it from sessionbean.
i hear that if i use the project code instead of project xml file,it will be more performant,is that true?
otherwise,how can i use the project code instead of project xml file?i mean, in "session.xml", i can use the "<project-xml>" tag to refer to the project xml file,then in my session bean,i get the server session by read the "session.xml" file.but if i use the project code,how can i refer it from the "session.xml"?the examples that come with the toplink installation only tell me how can i use the project xml file within the session bean,it don't give me any clue about using the project code in the sesion bean,who can give me a step-by-step instruction and code snippet?

There is a slight performance gain during session load at startup but there is no difference at runtime. The choice of which to use is dependent upon you build process. Whether it is easier to submit a new version of the class into the comile build process vs an XML file. In most cases it is just a preference of the development team.
When you use the project-class you'll need to generate the source code and compile it into your system. Typically it is packaged with the persistent classes. You may need to configure your environment so that the class-loaders have access to these classes (same for the XML case).
When using the project-class you simply replace the project-xml entry like this:

Can I use the dbms_application_info package with ADF BC?

Hi,
I am executing a PL/SQL package from my ADF BC Application module and need to set some audit information within the PL/SQL. The package does some intensive background processing that would be time consuming to do in ADF. Can I use the dbms_application_info pakage to store session information for the user?
I am not sure if the application module has a true database session with the database or is it pooled/shared with other users that may be logged on to the application?
I want to use dbms_application_info.set_client_info and dbms_application_info.read_client_info.
