Can Impersonalized form be attached to an email notification

Hi All,
I have a requirement where a filled in offline form should be sent (emailed) to a user.
I have created an Impersonalized form which triggers a process. I have mapped the Interactive form field to attachment field of the email (Send an email in background with attachment) callable object in the process.
When the form is submitted, I get an email with an attachment but it is an xml file.
Is there anyway to get the actual submitted Impersonalized form (PDF) as an attachment?
Version:
Adobe Live Cycle Desinger 8.0
Netweaver 2004s SP15
Thank you,
Vasu

I can't open jpegs attached to my email.  Error messages say "The file “CH02_12_07_08_07_06_01.jpg” could not be opened." and "It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn’t recognize."  What can I do?

I'm using Mac Mail as my email client.  I've tried to open it directly from the attachment in the email, and also saving it to my download folder to open seperately.  It will open on a PC with no issue.
Background: The jpg comes from a remote cameral systems I've set up.  Any movement that is detected sends me an email notification and a jpg image of the motion from the camera
I've attached a copy of the jpg file in question.

How can I add an attachment to an email without showing it in the body of the email?

    1. You must open attachment first
    2. Tap the square with arrow on top right and select mail
    3. Compose your email

How can I place an attachment onto outgoing emails on the iPad ?

If it's a photo or video, you type out your mail then hold your finger down in the body of the mail to get the pop up to attach a photo.
If it's another kind of file you have to open it in the app it 'lives' in....for example your word processing app for a document, then look for the little box with the arrow, tap that and you should have the option to send that file to be mailed.

  • How to auto collect form responses and get an email notification?

  • Attach Files to Email Notifications

Has the below feature been added - Providing the actual attachment (or more likely a direct link to an attachment)? Thanks!

The email notifications only list the filenames and provide a general link back to the response file. Providing the actual attachment (or more likely a direct link to an attachment) is a very good idea. Will consider that for a future release.
    Thanks for your feedback!

Sorry this is not possible to have the files attached to the email notification.

  • Changing the name of the form when attached to an email

    Good Day All;
I am wondering if there is a way to change the name of an attachment when the email button is clicked.
    Let me explain.
I have designed a form that will be emailed from one are to another and when the email button is clicked the email attachment is named (example)  “_150s2140t32f8b0iu.pdf”. Of course this is a meaningless name. I would like to somehow change this to better represent the name of the form.
    Thanks for any suggestions
    Thanks
    Chomp

    Hi Chomp,
It sounds like you are clicking the email button when in Preview in LC Designer. When the form is being Previewed it is given a temporary name. If the form is opened in Acrobat directly, does the email button attached the form with the proper/full name?
If you want the form to be given a named based on user's inputted data, then you will need a trusted function (.js file) on every user's computer. See this discussion: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2266799#2266799.

  • TS1506 I can't open pdf attachements in my email from outlook on my iphone

How do I open pdf attachments in my email on my iphone

here is what is supposed to happen...
an e mail attachment is usually shown as a icon at the end of the e mail.  If you touch it, and if it is a file type that the pad can handle in preview, it opens and you can read it.  and example would be a word document.
If you want to do something besides read the attachment, you need an app.  If you touch and hold the attachment you will ge a prompt called "open in", and any apps you have that can deal with that file type will ber lsited, you pick the one you want to use.
Sometimes there is no app on your machine to open a particular file type.  You can go to the app store, and search for that file extension, and frequently find an app that will deal with it.  Windows .wmv files are an example.
Lastly, there are some file types that the pad simply will not open, and there are no apps to be had either.  Flash attaments, i believe the extension is swx, cannot work on the pad.
so - when you get an e mail with an attachment - what happens when you touch it?

  • I can't view pictures attached to am email on my phone. Please help

Hi there, I can't seem to open up attached pictures in my emails . Usually Jpeg files. Is there something I need to download. It gives me a 'no viewer available' error message when I try to open them up.
I'd appreciate any advice on how to resolve this. Thanks

To test if the Photo viewer is working on your z10 and not the .jpg file itself to see if it is currupted. Simple test, go into your picture program, select a .jpg image, click and hold for a second until slider appears on the right. Slect share, slect Email, and send it to yourself. When the email comes back to your z10. click on the image and see if it opens it up.

  • Can I remove the Adobe Forms Central Header from my email notifications?

I send notifications to my eprint and this is consuming too much ink.

I asked Justin to help me out with this issue, and he couldn't:
Thanks for contacting AppleCare chat support. My name is Justin. How can I help you?
Me:Hi Justin. I am having a big problem in Mail
Me:I sent a work-related email to a bunch of people, but to keep them from replying to everyone, bcc'd almost all the addresses.
Me:Now I need to send an update to all of them, but I cannot see the addresses I bcc'd in sent-mail.
JustinI understand. It’s probably best to resend the mail and ask them not to reply all in the message.
Me:The problem is, I cannot figure out to whome the original email was sent! Is this no longer visible to the original sender?
JustinIm not sure I understand what’s goin on.
JustinAre the messages not showing in the sent folder?
Me:They are in the sent folder, but the bcc information is not viewable there in Yosemite.
JustinOK I’m afraid there is no workaround for that. I’d suggest creating a group for your work contacts and re-sending the email.
Me:(I can see what was sent, but not to whom)
Me:Can I request this be listed as a bug? Bcc is crucial, and in current form, it is unusable.
JustinYes I understand how important that is. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’ll submit the request for you.
    Me:Many thanks, and good luck!

    Hi,
This is not something we currently support but you can add or vote on feature ideas:
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/formscentral?view=idea
This should already be there for you to vote on but if you need to add a new idea click "Create an idea" under "Actions" in the top right.

  • Can I download an attachment from an email in the iPhone 5s outbox?

The file, a voice memo, was at first too large to send and thus "a copy" was placed in the outbox. In trying to trim the file, I deleted it. I reason that because emails in the outbox take up space, the original file must still exist there; thus, is it possible to recover the file from the outbox? When I open the email, however, the icon showing the attachment is treated as normal text.

That's not a bug, that is the way it is designed.
Other smartphones give you the option of downloading the message from your server, or merely viewing it. Thats not an option you have on the iPhone.
As to the Keynote -- that wasn't a typical Jobs Keynote address...it was a preview of a pre-production unit. Throughout the 6 months between announcement and release, Apple has been quite open about stating that features seen at the Keynote were merely demo and would not reflect the final product. That is exactly why Jobs never announces anything in advance at Apple. The only reason the iPhone was announced was because it needed FCC approval, and it would have been all over the airwaves and media anyway once the approval process started. Now that the phone has FCC approval, it will be back to the same old Apple stealth system -- no prior announcements, and no confusion between what is and what is not.

  • Just upgraded to Snow leopard; can't receive photo attach's in email

We just upgraded to snow leopard and now can't receive photos in email attachments. All that pops up is a bunch of alpha-numeric characters in some emails and the little blue boxes with the inserted question marks in others. Also seem to note that replies are not denoted or marked/flagged as they were in the previous version, though this is not as big a deal as the said replies seem to make it to their intended destination. Mail version is 4.5 (1084). Please advise

Another note, Ernie... I said that I emailed a pic from the imac (which is where I'm having the problems... snow leopard?) to my ipad and no problem, the pic shows up fine; but if I then forward that email BACK to the imac, then no-go... no pic just the following, and I'm shortening it for simplicity's sake:
