SuperFrench is found but this font can not display any text

"SuperFrench" font comes from Autodesk. this fonts's real file name is supef__.ttf
If it is placed in C:\Windows\Fonts folder then it is available for Windows native apps such as MS Excel.
Java GraphicsEnvironment finds "SuperFrench" font
but this font can not display any text.
This happens in both Java6(1.6.0_34) and Java7(1.7.0_06)

This font has some irreguler structure.
I hope Java font system will deal with it.

Can not copy any file or empty the trash

Hello,
I'm using a Macbook (white) with OSX 10.6.4 and am having an extremely annoying problem which has three symptoms:
1. I *can not empty the trash* (safely or not) at all.
2. I *can not copy any file*, anywhere.
3. I *can not move anything to the "Applications"* folder.
I try restarting the computer, repairing the permissions, running the latest version of Onyx and so on, but nothing works. I always get the following error message (when copying a file or emptying the trash)
"The operation can't be completed because you don't have the permission to access some of the items".
And this even though I repaired the permissions three times today.
To be honest, this makes my Mac pretty useless, and is very frustrating.
Can anybody help? I've browsed a lot of other threads about this, tried everything, but to no avail.
Come on, this is my first Mac, don't tell me I have to reinstall the OS from zero, Windows-style.

Those are the normal permissions but if you are logged in as admin, hit the unlock button and enter your password they should no longer be greyed out.
You can try chmoding them from root through the terminal if you are up for it. I'd also try booting up in SafeMode and seeing if that allows access.

I am experiencing trouble with my iPhone. I have to reinstalled my Windows 7 OS due to some trouble. When I reinstalled everything include iTunes back, it can not automatically back up my iPhone to iTunes like it used to. Also, I can not copy any songs and/or videos from iTunes to my iPhone. Fortunately, the application can be restored thanks to the new iTunes version.
Does anyone know how could I restore all my previous services I got before the reinstallation? Help!!

The reason I asked is I like using Verizon Messages and found out via a chat on your website that with iMessaging, you can't see those messages on Verizon Messages. Most likely because the order of vertices in which you specify your triangles defines that the backface of each triangle is towards the camera. By default backface culling is on, i.e triangles with the backface towards the camera will not get rendered. Counterclockwise order of the vertices defines the front side.
You have 2 possibilities: reverse the order of vertices which specify your triangles or set a PolygonAttributes
object with a different culling behavior to an Appearance object which you add to your Shape3d object.
It is explained in the Java 3D tutorial - look for backface culling in chapter 2.6.4 - i have only an old version of it so it may have moved to a different chapter.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
*Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Can not copy text from AI CC or AI6 in to the file name

I have an AI file with 80+ UPC codes that I need to separate in to individual files. Each UPC has a descriptor but when I copy the text and then try to paste it as file name it will not paste. I use this same process regularly in InDesign when I design print ads. Each print ad has a unique item number that prints with the copyright line so I simply copy and paste that information when I do the save.
Under File Handling and Clipboard both PDF and AICB are on. I've tried this in AICC and AICS6. I also tried different files. Same issue. Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to type 80 some descriptions which are very lengthy.

I can not copy the text from Illustrator in to any OS X application/function (filename, Mail, Text Edit, ect). I can copy in to InDesign, Photoshop, Flash, and other other Adobe product. I can copy in to Word as well. I guess my work around will be Word.
And the opposite is true. I can copy text from any other Adobe application to any OS X application/function with no issues.
I guess my work around will be to OCR the text from Acrobat and open in Word. The descriptors have to be 100% accurate and some of them are pretty long.

When we print some PDF files via Adobe Reader, the printjob does not contain any text.
In Adobe Reader I can select the text but when you print it, it prints it as images (polygons records in EMF) instead of text (e.g. EMR_TEXTOUT).

There must be something that decides to print as image or with text.
E.g. Adobe Reader 9 often prints text compared where Adobe Reader XI doesn't print the text for the same PDF.

Can not install any program

I can't install any program in my mac OS X(10.6.3)
I didn't install any harmful program before or change any things in system.
I am new in mac and just use it for browsing internet.
I can not copy any thing in Application folder.

Open Disk Utility, select your hard drive in the list in Disk Utility's window, then click Repair Disk Permissions. You also may want to [repair the hard drive with Disk Utility|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1417] if you haven't done that recently. If it still doesn't work, try [starting up in Safe Mode|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455] and see if that makes any difference.
If none of this helps, you may want to try a local Apple Store, if there are any in Malaysia. I think there's going to be a serious language barrier if the problem needs any complicated troubleshooting, and it's always helpful for the person helping to be able to see the machine in question.

You have read pririlege for the folder?
Finder's Go menu -> Go to Folder... "~/Library/Preferences", then move to rash the file, "com.apple.finder.plist" then relogin could solve the problem.

I was just researching the same problem and found this info :
"I figured it out, i had "mouse keys" on.
To fix go to Preferences>Universal>Mouse> MouseKeys and click off"
sure enough I had the 'mousekeys' on and turning it off - keyboard now working
