Can pending draft document edit by approvals?

Hi all expert,
I would like to ask your about the pending draft document. Can it be allow edit by approvals(The person who allow approve the document)?
Example:
new Purchase Order create by originator, when the approvals received the message & want to revised the amount in the purchase order. Can he/she amend the document amount or quantity?
It doesn't make sense where the manager cannot revise the document created by users. Right?

I think so .He can take a look from alert window and make necessary change and post it .
I think in alert window ,you need to dbl click on the message and you will see the doocument number and you can link to document and make some changes and post it .
I donot have test environment to test but i think it should be fine .
Originator cannot make changes in the document while it is in process . That's for sure.

DIAPI help says that Remove Method is not supported because "SAP Business One does not allow to remove a document object from the database".
However, in SBO UI, you can remove Draft Documents. Is there another way or workaround in DI API for deleting Draft Documents?

How to freeze the column edit in Draft document?

I try the following code and want to freeze the column edit in Item code, Item description and quantity. However, it just work in Sales Order or PUrchase Order those normal marketing document. it doesn't work in Draft document. Anyone can help?

Thanks for posting your code - that helps a lot isolating the issue!
While your code could work, if the SDK would have been implemented differently, it won't do what you want it to:
- There is no et_FORM_DATA_LOAD event fired when a draft is loaded (use EventLogger from the B1DE tools - it would have told you that you are looking at an event that doesn't get fired...).
- Not sure how "BusinessObjectInfo" is defined, but oForm.BusinessObject.Type = "112" does not occurr:
The business object behind the form is the "real" business object - an Invoice ("13") in your case.
Thus your code never reaches the lines where you disable the relevant columns... - you could e.g. use .NET Profiler form B1TE to get at least a better idea of what is happening inside the add-on, if you don't like to step through you add-on code.
- oForm.BusinessObject.Type is a string (remember UDOs!) - not a number.
- Table "ODRF" is not a datasource behind form "133" - please check the form's XML!
If you would like to run that check you have to do it differently - using DI API...

Can't click inside editable region in template based HTML document in CS5

Hi Everyone,
I m having a strange problem in Dreamweaver Cs5. After making the html page based on template, when i am opening the HTML page to edit content in editable region, I couldnot click inside the editable region. I can make changes in code view but not in design view in Dreamweaver Cs5.
Please help if anyone knows the solution. It is really creating a mess for me.

Because I didn't create the code, rather it was dreamweaver, i believed that DW is obviously broken. Because I have a bunch of sites I made in earlier versions and when I start using a newer versions, CS5, I now can't access the editable region in any of them it seems DW is broken. So, I didn't think the code was necessary. I thought it was something that others have already experienced and resolved. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks though for helping with what appears to be broken. Hopefully it's an easy fix because there's other sites I have that this annoyance is plaguing me...

You could install Office for Mac. You could install a free Office-like program such as LibreOffice. You could open the documents with a program like Pages. Or you could install Windows and Office on your Macbook Pro.

As taken from the [iPhone user manual|http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPhoneUserGuide.pdf]:
You can view attachments in both portrait and landscape orientation. If the format of an attached file isn’t supported by iPhone, you can see the name of the file but you can’t open it. iPhone supports the following email attachment file formats: .doc, .docx, .htm, .html, .pdf, .txt, .xls, .xlsx
At this time, there is no way to edit documents on the iPhone.

Yes, with some caveats.
Pages and Word do some things differently, so no guarrantees for anything. Mostly it works fine.

I have similar issues with the whole MS Office solution since I "upgraded' towards Yosemite:
when I use Cmd+W or the "close" menu option to close a Word file, Word crashes down (I always send a message to Microsoft but I guess this is more related to Yosemite or to its installation; consequence is it become very difficult to close a file, as it re-opens it the next time :-(
same thing for Excel and PowerPoint
When I try to save in PDF format a Word file containing several sections, it produces one PDF file per section - wasn't before Yosemite
Excel crashes down much more often than before because of lack of memory
Well, if someone has a suggestion, I would be grateful, 'cause it is becoming actually boring - and counter-productive !

First row is empty in draft document

I have created a DI addon for posting a draft delivery document. However, in each document there's a empty blank row. I know that you only need to invoke the lines.add function for second plus rows so I have already made sure that I am not adding a new line on first add. Any advice for you would much be appreciated.

The blank row that you are referring to, where is that line? Is it the last line in the document? If so, that is standard SBO practice. I tested your code and did the same in SBO itself. I create a Delivery draft with 3 lines and 4 lines are added to the document. The fourth line is the new line that is created automatically when you press tab. The reason is that you can add more lines to a draft document. As soon as you save that draft as an actual document, the last line gets deleted.

I log out from my account, then I see, Images are not visible in this content..

You have hotlinked the (jive scn.sap) images in wiki. This is not the correct way to embed images.
The image needs to be first uploaded there(atlassian wiki.scn.sap), and then embed to wiki page.
I believe you are able to see the image because they are hosted on scn.sap, you are logged in, and the images are part of your "draft" space.
When your access issue with wiki is being corrected. also get access to upload images in wiki.
There are tutorials available on how to embed images to new wiki platform.

Draft document disabled columns

I have a problem, i try to write information on a row of a draft credit note, the problem is that columns of draft documents are blocked but when i search enabled or visible property both are true.
So, How can i know if the column are blocked or that the document it's draft?, cause throw me the not editable row error.
I need know it, to not write in row and have the error.

I have created a SharePoint 2010 "Site Workflow" that is designed to take information from a form and create a Word doc with the gathered information and store this Word doc in a document library.
I am using Sharepoint 2013 with Office 2013
I understand there are a lot of steps (19) outlined below and I can provide more information as needed but the bottom line is this, workflow successfully takes info from an initiation form, uses the info to create a Word doc. Places this Word doc in a library.
When attempting to open / edit doc, receive error
"We're sorry. We can't open <document name> because we found a problem with its contents"
Details - No error detail available.
Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Very high level view of what I have done:
1 - Created content type called "Letters"
2 - Added site columns " First Name" and "Last Name"
3 - Created and saved to my desktop a very basic Word document (Letter.docx) that says "Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX"
4 - In the advanced settings of the "Letters" content type I uploaded this "Letter.docx" file as the new document template.
5 - Created a new document library called "Letters"
6 - In Library Settings - Advanced Settings, clicked "Yes" to enable the management of content types.
7 - Then I clicked "Add from existing content types" and added the "Letters" content type
8 - Back in the advanced settings of the "Letters" content type I selected "Edit Template" and replaced the first XXXX with the Quick Part "First Name" and the second XXXX with the Quick part "Last Name"
9 - Created a new 2010 Site workflow called "Create a Letter"
10 - To the workflow I added the action "Create List Item"
11 - Configured the action to create Content Type ID "Letters" in the document library "Letter"
12 - For the "Path and Name" I gave it a basic name of "Letter to"
13 - The next step was to create the Initiation Form Parameters and added to form entries "First Name" and "Last Name"
14 - I then linked the initiation form fields to the data source "Workflow Variables and Parameters" to their respective Field from Source parameters
15 - Went back to the "Path and Name" and modified the basic name of "Letter to" to include the first and last name parameters.
16 - Saved - published and ran the work flow.
17 - As expected, Initiation Form prompts for First and Last Name. ("John Doe") Then click "start
18 - Go to document library "Letters" and see a new Word document created titles "Letter to John Doe"
19 - Go to open / edit the Word document and receive the following error

I've had success in using SP 2013, Word 2013 (saving a .docx as the template instead of .dotx for the document library content type), and an SP 2010 workflow using SP Designer 2013.
