Can't access a bpel process from a standalone java client

Hi i am using soa suite 10.1.3 and i'm trying to invoke a bpel process from a java client
I am using the tutorial from this page: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/bpel/pdf/orabpel-Tutorial7-InvokingBPELProcesses.pdf but i am trying to do the client in eclipse
my class from where i want to invoke the proces looks like this:
import java.rmi.RemoteException;
import java.util.Map;
import com.oracle.bpel.client.Locator;
import com.oracle.bpel.client.ServerException;
import com.oracle.bpel.client.dispatch.IDeliveryService;
import com.oracle.bpel.client.NormalizedMessage;
public class Invoke {
     public static void main (String args[])
          try {
               Locator locator = new Locator("default", "bpel", (String)null);
               IDeliveryService deliveryService =(IDeliveryService)locator.lookupService(IDeliveryService.SERVICE_NAME );
               String xml =
                    "<ssn xmlns=\"http://services.otn.com\">123456789</ssn>";
               NormalizedMessage nm = new NormalizedMessage( );
               nm.addPart("payload", xml );
               NormalizedMessage res =
                    deliveryService.request("CreditRatingService", "process", nm);
                    Map payload = res.getPayload();
          } catch (ServerException e) {
               e.printStackTrace();
          } catch (RemoteException e) {
               // TODO Auto-generated catch block
               e.printStackTrace();
The problem that i had firs was that the security.properties file could not be found in the config directory of the projects root. I think i resolved this problem by copying the context.properties file from teh rmi tutorial from the folder 102.InvokingProcesses and rename it.
After this the error that occure was that the file ejb.properties could not be found in the same directory as the security file.
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem or where did i miss anythink?
I tried until now all the examples in the tutorial step by step and i couldnt manage to run one
Thanks
Best Regards Corneliu

Thanks now it is working(i think)
but i have a nother problem
i got the folowing error:
java.lang.Exception: Failed to create "ejb/collaxa/system/DeliveryBean" bean; exception reported is: "javax.naming.NamingException: Lookup error: javax.naming.AuthenticationException: Not authorized; nested exception is:
     javax.naming.AuthenticationException: Not authorized [Root exception is javax.naming.AuthenticationException: Not authorized]
my context.properties file looks:
orabpel.platform=ias_10g
java.naming.factory.initial=com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory
java.naming.provider.url=opmn:ormi://RO1CC29C:6003:oc4j_soa/orabpel
java.naming.security.principal=oc4jadmin

  • How to call a BPEL process from Oracle Apps Java Concurrent program

    Hello,
    I need to trigger a BPEL process from Oracle Apps. Can anybody tell me how to do that? I have two triggering option--
    1. On button click from a Form 6i screen
    2. Using Java Concurrent program.
    Thanks in advance.
    Debkanta

    I am not sure how concurrent program works, but may be one of the way might work out, let me know if Java Concurrent Program works a bit different way
    - [if async] Through concurrent program, you can insert message token to db or aq, and BPEL can be instantiated from there
    or
    - If it supports pure java call, then you can look at multiple documents (e.g. http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/bpel/pdf/orabpel-Tutorial7-InvokingBPELProcesses.pdf) to invoke your process
    - You can also use oracle db utility to invoke soap operation and get the result back

  • Invoking a secure web service from a standalone java client

    I am using stand alone java client to invoke a web service. This web service in turn invokes a jcs which is protected ( role based access ).
    I am using a proxy at the client side for web service invocation
    FileSubmission_Impl filesubmission_impl = new FileSubmission_Impl();
    FileSubmissionSoap filesubmissionsoap = filesubmission_impl.getFileSubmissionSoap();
    filesubmissionsoap.processFiles(...)
    This works if there are no security constraints on any of the resources (@common:security).
    I need to pass the username and password from the java client that will be authenticated and allowed to access the protected resources.
    Please let me know as to how this can be achieved ( passing username and password from client )

    Paula,
    I suppose you're using CFINVOKE (http://www.activsoftware.com/code_samples/code.cfm/CodeID/44/ColdFusion/Invoking_SOAP_Web_Services_with_ColdFusion_MX_CFINVOKE_Tag) or are you using a third party tool like CFX_SOAP (http://www.activsoftware.com/products/productdetail.cfm/id/1015)?
    Are you working with WebAS 6.4 or 6.2?
    It works with web services created with WebAS 6.4, but you should generate proxy classes. Check Thomas' weblog (second part of it)->https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1012. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
    The WSDL generated by this method is more standard than the one generated when you just Remote enable an FM and look at the webservice browser.
    Th core of CF MX is Java and that engine is rather strict in standards.

  • Question: How to call a BPEL process from a PL/SQL procedure

    Hi All,
    Greetings to all BPEL people. I have a question on how can we call a BPEL process from a PLSQL procedure. It might be a stupid question but i wanted to know whether this fetaure is available in BPEL as our scenario requires us to explore if this functionality is available in BPEL.
    Please let me know and also if possible please send me the links for the tutorials if it is available.
    Thanks In Advance,
    Dibya

    Yes u can do it. there are two ways.
    1) First one is using utl_http package of PL/SQL
    In this case u can create SOAP request message & send it as Http request to your deployed BPEL process.
    This package provides some methods like
    set_header,write_text,get_response,read_text etc..
    Following is part of code which may be helpful to you.
    create or replace package body test_book_order_sub_pkg
    is
    FUNCTION test_book_order_sub(p_subscription_guid IN RAW,
    p_event IN OUT WF_EVENT_T
                                            Return VARCHAR2 IS
    soap_request varchar2(30000);
    soap_respond varchar2(30000);
    http_req utl_http.req;
    http_resp utl_http.resp;
    launch_url varchar2(240) ;
         begin
         DBMS_OUTPUT.Put_Line('Subscription : Order has been booked');
         soap_request:='<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
         <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Header/>
    <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/BES_BookOrder">
    <ns1:BES_BookOrderProcessRequest>
    <ns1:input>725</ns1:input>
    </ns1:BES_BookOrderProcessRequest>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>';
    http_req:= utl_http.begin_request
    ('http://172.28.5.191:8888/orabpel/default/BES_BookOrder/1.0',
    'POST',
    'HTTP/1.1'
    utl_http.set_header(http_req, 'Content-Type', 'text/xml') ;
    utl_http.set_header(http_req, 'Content-Length', length(soap_request)) ;
    utl_http.set_header(http_req, 'SOAPAction', 'initiate');
         utl_http.write_text(http_req, soap_request) ;
    http_resp:= utl_http.get_response(http_req) ;
    utl_http.read_text(http_resp, soap_respond) ;
    utl_http.end_response(http_resp) ;
    DBMS_OUTPUT.Put_Line(soap_respond);
    return('SUCCESS');
    end test_book_order_sub;
    end test_book_order_sub_pkg;
    2) Second way is make your BPEL process listening to some database Queue(use AQ Adapter). & then put some message in tht queue from ur Pl/SQL code . This will also initiate BPEL instance. Check out AQAdapter tutorials.

    How can I call a BPEL process from Java?
    The Java client should be outside of the PEL engine.
    Does someone have a piece of sample code for
    a "Hello world" java-to-bpel call (+ java client src)?

    Here is the solution:
    Properties props = new Properties();
    props.setProperty("orabpel.platform", "oc4j_10g");
    props.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial",
    "com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory");

  • Invoking BPEL process from ADF application - webservice connection failed

    Hi,
    I am trying to invoke a Bpel process from ADF page , I deployed the same in Standalone SOA server since I had to display some Human Task Forms.
    I created a webservice data control out of the bpel process and dropped the process method in my page.
    The page on which I dropped the process method stopped rendering and I checked the logs and found that I got the error mesage- webservice connection failed,the webservice url could not be reached and in the logs it also asks us to check if the connections.xml is available in the meta-inf directory. I checked the conections.xml is available in the EAR.
    So any pointers here and any one faced this error anytime?
    is there better ways to invoke the bpel flow from ADF page.
    Thanks,
    Robin

    Hi,
      Check if your wsdl endpoint can accessed properly. If yes, check the soap-binding address is properly pointing to the server hosting the webservice.

  • How to pass multiple values while invoking bpel process from ADF?

    Hi,
    I want to call a bpel process from my ADF application. The bpel process is having one input parameter. I have created webservice data control by using WSDL url.
    Lets say, I have an Emp multi select table. I drag and drop the data control into Emp table selection facet to create an "Invoke" button.
    I am able to pass single value (lets say Empid) to the bpel process after clicking the "Invoke" button.
    But, my requirement is to pass all the selected values ( as its a multi select table) to the bpel process after clicking the "Invoke" button once.
    How can I achieve this?
    --Abhijit

    Hi,
    if the BPEL method that you access allows you to pass arrays or lists, then you can get a list of selectedRowKeys from the table, which then you use to get the value from the underlying binding or the table. This however requires some Java coding instead of directly invoking the executable on the binding layer
    - you create the BPEL method in the binding layer
    - from a Java managed bean you call ADFBindingContext --> get current instance and access Binding container
    - OperationBinding oper = (OperationBinding ) bindings.get("method to invoke");
    oper.gerParamsMap().put("the BPel argument name", value);
    oper.execute();
    - To access the table selected rows
    RowKeySet rks = _table.getSelectedRowKeys();
      //iterate over the set of selected row keys and delete
      //each of the found rows
      Iterator selectedRowIterator = rks.iterator();
      while (selectedRowIterator.hasNext()){
        //get the first key
        Object key = selectedRowIterator.next();
        //make the row current
        _table.setRowKey(key);
        //the row is an instance of the ADF node binding class
        JUCtrlHierNodeBinding rowWrapper = null;
        rowWrapper = (JUCtrlHierNodeBinding) _table.getRowData();
        //get the actual oracle.jbo.Row object
        Row row = rowWrapper.getRow();
        ... get attribute values by calling row.getAttribute("name"); assuming you used ADF BC to build the tableFrank

  • Invoking bpel process from another bpel process in same app server

    Hi,
    When I invoke a bpel process from another bpel process in the same oracle AS
    1. Is it a SOAP call or is there any optimization?
    2. If there is some optimization where can I configure this?
    3. Is there any similar optimizations if I invoke a bpel process from a
    java application deployed in the same server? If so can you please provide
    a sample?
    Thanks for your help
    Raj

    By default the BPEL 10.1.2, it will do a local call to the process. It will not execute a SOAP request, no network access is done.
    It can be configured at domain level:
    Parameter: optSoapShortcut (SOAP local optimization)
    Turns on "short-cut" for local SOAP request; local SOAP calls are normally done via an internal call instead of sending a message through the SOAP stack.
    The default behavior for the engine is to optimize all. To disable optimization specify a value other than "true" or "yes".

  • Error while deploying bpel process from jdevelober

    hi everybody

    then successfully deploy a web-services from jdeveloper ,every thing is grate till now
    after that i try to deploy bpel process from jdeveloper also but i have an error which indicates that "access is denied "
    i removed the read only for the source on the disk drive but nothing changed !
    note: the orcladmin is set to default "welcome1"
    but in OID it is another password
    someone one told me that this is the problem-the user is not the same password ,is this the reason why i cant deploy my bpel process???
    also he told me if i change the "orcladmin" manually the EM will crash ,its not problem for me because i have an image which can be restored back in few minutes .but i need an explanation so i know what's happening.

  • Unable to call a BPEL Process from ESB

    Has anyone worked on Oracle ESB ?
    I've implemented an ESB Scenario where, based on some value, either it should call one BPEL process otherwise it should call another BPEL Process. But, Routing Service is unable to call either of the service.
    Can anyone help me out?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards

    I am able to call the bpel processes from the bpel console. I tried to use the TCP Packet Monitor but it shows waiting for connection and doesn't turn up. I checked the port number. The local server port is correct but I dont know how to check the listener port for it i.e. by default showing 1234.
    I tried to test my esb through em as a webservice but it shows the following exception after input:

    Have got the same problem. Scenario at my end is little different though.
    I am trying to invoke a BPEL process from an ESB Service.
    I am trying to look into it..
    However, would be grateful, if someone can give some insight into this since many are running into this issue without being able to fix.

  • TNS:Operation Timed Out error while trying to invoke BPEL Process from sql

    Hi,
    I am trying to invoke a BPEL Process from PL/sql code. When i try to invoke the process, I am getting the following error message
    ORA-29273 HTTP Request Failed
    ORA:06512: at SYS.UTH_HTTP at line 1029
    ORA:12535: TNS:Operation Timed Out

    I have the SOA suite installed on my local machine...and the BPEL process that i am trying to invoke is deployed their.
    Any idea what could be wrong..following is the code piece
    soap_request:='<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    dbms_output.put_line('after Begin Request' );
    utl_http.set_header(http_req, 'Content-Type', 'text/xml') ;
    Please advise

    you are right the file adapter doesnt invoke any bpel
    process, instead it is polling the file from
    directory location?If it is polling for new files, shouldn't it create a new instance of the BPEL process automatically the moment it finds a new file? In other words, should a new file trigger an instance of the BPEL process rather than being started from PL/SQL?
    Can this file adapter not be invoked as bpel process
    in that case?The file adapter is part of a BPEL process. The BPEL process can be invoked from e.g. PL/SQL.
    In this case this file adapeter return to an RECEIVE
    activity...I think this receive cannot be invoked as
    a BPEL process rite?Can you explain what you mean with this?
    Also , will all synchronous request return "TIMEOUT"
    error, if tried to invoke from pl/sql?Only if the synchronous process instance takes more time to complete (and thus to return) than the value specified for a time-out to occur. If the instance completes in for example 10 ms and the time-out time is specified as 30 seconds, no time-out will occur.
