Can't Change the URL of a new tab

When I open a new tab it opens with (www.trovi.com/?gd=&ctid=CT3320047&octid=EB_ORIGINAL_CTID&ISID=M8690A469-2B12-490E-B6F5-2FEA1F0D3E00&SearchSource=69&CUI=&SSPV=&Lay=1&UM=6&UP=SPEAC0608F-A4FB-4D75-B66E-E5D6B7012B0C) I want it to open with Google Search, I have tried changing the about:config / browser.newtab.url , but it will not change, it does nothing.

And in case you want to retain the contents of the meeting (including pods info and preferences), you can move the meeting (https://umconnect.umn.edu/MPA2013) to My Templates folder and then create a new meeting using that meeting as a template that will have same content but different URL.

I have a case. I have made my service running on SOAP UI and generated a proxy after appending the endpoint URL of WSDL to SOAP URL. Now if my service deploys at any other location can i change my URL of proxy to that location without regenerating the proxy again??

You can do this it you use a wrapper around the original code and e.g. supply a new endpoint and use this.
Take a look into the class which implements the service. There you find the 'wsdlLocationURL' and how it is build (normally static). You can use this code as a template and build your own new endpoint.

The referenced link deals with a different matter; the user wanted a blank tab to open but was getting an arbitrary page opening instead.

I just got a new iphone 5s after having a droid for a year. While at the Tmobile store I couldn't remember my apple ID/password so the guy told me just to set up a new one 'for now' and that I would be able to change it later so that I can sync my phone and get all my music from my old itunes account. Yeah - I believe so. According to the article linked below, having that box checked means that you are, literally, dragging music, and other stuff from your library to your device as opposed to syncing. Not sure I understand the purpose of it. I have always sync'd my device, and I control what syncs by setting up the Profile pages accordingly.
In fact, I sync my devices and my husbands devices to our iTunes library on his Macbook Pro, but we have the Photos option unchecked on all of the device profiles on his Macbook Pro library. We then sync our photos from my Macbook Air, which is where our iPhoto library is housed. On the device profiles on my Mac, all of the boxes except the Photos tab are unchecked. We use the sync process on both, and the way the profiles are set up, it prevents anything from getting accidently un-synced or deleted....
Maybe the Manually Manage option allows you to drag music from multiple libraries without wiping out what you already have on your device....just not sure. But here is the link:

This article indicates that even with the Manually Manage option on, you can selectively set up your profile screens to allow automatic syncing at the same time (just not with the same content).

Change the page titles in New Tab

When I drag a new page into the New Tab window the title of the tab becomes the title that is on the page, which is not always meaningful. For example, Home Depot uses a slogan on the title, the company name does not appear there at all. So, when I look at the tab page I can't tell which one is Home Depot. The images are always empty.

The point from ''madperson'' is that you first bookmark a web page (URL), possibly on the Bookmarks Toolbar. 
Then you can edit the title of that bookmark via the properties or by clicking the star on the location bar to change the name to what you want to appear as title on the about:newtab page and subsequently drag the modified bookmark in a slot on the about:newtab page to pin that URL.

Any search toolbar and changes to search engines can take place by downloading and installing software; usually "free" software from the internet. Babylon can be downloaded and installed by itself or as a "ride-along" when installing/updating some software from the internet. Always look for an opportunity during the installation to un-check boxes that will install "ride-along" items that you do not want. Firefox installation does not include such "ride-along" items.

How to open the url in a new tab of the Browser

Am using jdev 11.1.1.2.1
I have a commandLink in a jsff page and on click of that i want to open a new tab with the url given in the action listener.
I have the action listener code below:
FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
ExternalContext ectx = fctx.getExternalContext();
Url="/faces/Home.jspx";
ectx.redirect(Url);
For now it is redirecting in the same window and so wen i press the back button in the browser the session gets invalidated ,
so i want to open it in a new tab.

Hi,
You can try using "goLiink" and then use the property targetFrame set to "_blank"; below are some for ur references:
targetFrame
_blank: The link opens the document in a new window.
_parent: The link opens the document in the window of the parent. For example, if the link appeared in a dialog window, the resulting page would render in the parent window.
_self: The link opens the document in the same page or region.
_top: The link opens the document in a full window, replacing the entire page.
