Can't delete column - Invalid postback or callback argument

We have a Sharepoint 2007 installation on Server 2008 Standard. Within the Sharepoint installation we have document libraries with custom columns (nothing fancy just Single line of text, Date and Time, etc.) that we wish to delete. Every time we try
though we get this error message:
Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes,
this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register
the postback or callback data for validation.
Haven't found anything usefull yet on the internet...anyone has an idea / solution?

Well...seems Google provided the answer after all. Adding this line to the web.config temporarily allowed us to delete those columns.

I am working on Crystal report server2008 (XI R2): InfoView: An error has occurred:Invalid postback or callback argument.
When user tries to schedule a report by changing the input parameter values. The following error is showing. I.e When user tries to edit the parameter values and clicks OK button, the following error is prompting.

You have to verify any composite index that are pointing to the column before dropping or setting unused to that column if required.
Othatwise the index will be amicably lost. Just gather that information before dropping, sothat you can rebuild that index after drop.
SQL> create table test(no number(10),tst_unused number(10));

SQL> create index tst_un_idx on test(NO,TST_UNUSED);

SQL> insert into test values(1,2);

SQL> COMMIT;

Can i delete the Subtotal column in Cross Table?

i create a crosstab named: hr_count, used for counting different kind of employees.
and in 'crosstab expert', the 'column' area, i have 2 items: level_1 and level_2; the 'row' area has 1 item: department.
my problem is, there's always a 'subtotal' column at the last column of every level 1 area, but i don't need it, i can see the 'total' number at the very last column.
how can i delete or suppress this 'subtotal' column?
i know i can suppress the very last 'total' column by right click mouse and choose not to show this column, but it seems i can do nothing to the 'subtotal' column. or, i must keep this 'subtotal' column in the table?

You can suppress the sub totals, Right click on your cross tba and go in Cross Tab Expart--Customize Style tab here you will find Rows: and Columns; which will have fileds. Now click on Rows fields once you click on sub group field you can see suppress subtotal check box enables click in that check box and click on Ok. Now check for sub totals.

As to where to put the code, edit your web template, then put the code in there. There are script web items that you can use, but be aware that editing javascript in the script item is not too pleasant. I have found the best approach is to rather create the javascript file on my machine, then upload it to the MIME repository, then reference that in the web template.
Here is how I have referenced the javascript file sitting in our MIME repository:

Can't delete an alias in the navigation column (error -8060)

I have a new mac mini (with 10.6.3 running) which I "initialized" using my old mac mini (10.4).
That was to get my accounts and settings and such transferred easily.
Somehow during the installation, in the Finder, in the Navigation Column, under the heading Locations an alias called Documenten (in Dutch) was placed there, which I cannot click on, it points to nothing and I can't delete it. During my efforts to remove it or reinstate the alias the finder response with error -8060.
Does anybody knows a way how to "manually" delete it from some settings file or preference file or something like that deep in the system?

Do you have a Documents folder in your Home folder? If so is it "normal?" If you quickly drag the alias out of the Finder's sidebar does it "poof" away or is that when you get the error?
Have you tried removing the /Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist and/or com.apple.sidebarlist.plist files (drag to Desktop then relaunch the Finder.)

How can I delete/add Columns in my Report?

Hi everybody,
i´ve just a silly little question...
We´re using APEX to revise our Daily Reject-Rows and some other Dimensiontables.
For every Table, witch is to revise we´ve got a single Page in our APEX Application.
Also, in every Page we created a Report for our users,
so that they can revise the Data,
and published it in our intranet, using a Webserver.
Now my Question...
In one of these Pages we´ve more then 110 columns in the sql Region Source,
placed in the Region Definition.
But...in the Report Attributes, there are only shown 99 Columns.
I must integrate 3 or 4 more Columns from my Source Definitioned Table in the Report.
Where can i do this?
I only see how i can edit the columns, make them visible or hide them,
define their Propertys...but where can i add a new Column?
or delete one?
I´m very thankfull for every Awnswer :-)

Ok, i found a Solution...
It seems to be a BUG. (?)
The Report Attributes will be realy generated automaticly
under using the Source Definition, but...
- There´s a Restriction in the Sum of all Columns,
it can be only 99 witch will be able to define and revise.
- If you´ver got more then 99 Columns in your Source
you have to specified them exactly, by Name
...AND...
- you have to create the Source SQL new.
It is not sufficiently if you change the Position of the Columns in the SQL Source (placed at the Region Definition).
I copied and pasted the Source SQL three Times,
before APEX accept the changes of the Position from the Columns.
At least...
In the Moment as i define the needed Column,
(now in the Report Attribute available),
APEX understands it an i can put the others Columns (Columns 99 till 110) back in the Source SQL, without loosing my needed Column in my Report again.

Only forum moderators have the capability of deleting invalid threads. It's up to their discretion as well as to whether a posting is invalid or not.

Unable to fetch columns; Invalid state/No Suitable Driver

Hi!
I'm trying to populate a combo box with data from a MySQL database (or any other database for that matter), I create a JDBC connection source, and set the following:
URL = jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test
Driver = org.mysql.jdbc.Driver (i have also tried org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver)
Username = anonymous
Password = <blank>
Next I create a NBJdbcRowSet and set:
Command = SELECT * FROM foo
Connection Provider = connectionSource1 (the above connection source)
Now if I click the elipses next to Default Column Values, I get the message 'Unable to fetch columns; Invalid State'
If I replace the NBJDBCRowSet with a NBCachedRowSet, the error becomes 'Unable to fetch columns; No Suitable Driver'.
The database is browseable in the runtime tab, and the table exists (I can run SQL queries and get the expected results). The anonymous account exists and has access to the tables in question (the same setup is used in a few different applications, all of which work fine). Using the root account gives the same results. Using the PointBase example database gives the same results:
Driver: com.pointbase.jdbc.jdbcUniversalDriver
URL: jdbc:pointbase:server://localhost:9092/sample
Details of setup:
OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
IDE: Sun Java Studio Enterprise 7 2004Q4
Java version in use: 1.4.2_05 (as packaged with the studio)
MySQL: v5.0.7-beta-nt
Connector: MySQL Connector/J 3.0.17-ga
PointBase: As came with Studio Enterprise
I should mention that I can get DB connectivity in my app, I can create a comboBox and set the model to 'nBCachedRowSet1: name' and the contents of that field appears in my comboBox, however I need to create about a dozen tables and I don't relish the thought of manually creating models for each one ;)
Any suggestions are appreciated!

I've retried with PointBase and the Sample DB:
* New project. New JFrame.
* Create ConnectionSource, NBJdbcRowSet, ComboBox
* Config ConnectionSource:
- Driver: com.pointbase.jdbc.jdbcUniversalDriver
- URL: jdbc:pointbase:server://localhost:9092/sample
- Username/pass: as per PointBase setup
* Config NBJdbcRowSet
- ConnectionProvider: connectionSource1
- Command: SELECT * FROM CUSTOMERINFO
- Default Column Values: <open GUI>, <Fetch Columns>, "Unable to fetch columns; Invalid State"
So this is where I get the problem, I'm not sure if i've buggered it up though, so I continue to see if I can get data:
- Add Column: NAME
- OK, Close
* Config ComboBox
- Open Model dialog
- Select Mode: ComboBoxEditor
- RowSet: nBJdbcRowSet1 (this throws the error again)
- Column: NAME (entered manually, dropdown is empty)
- OK, Close
* Run app
Errors!
Seems like the GUI builder did something wrong - it generated a bunch of functions for each thing i added, like this:
public void setJComboBox1(JComboBox val) {
this.jComboBox1 = val;
and the project won't compile. I figure out it should be like this:
public void setJComboBox1(javax.swing.JComboBox val) {
this.jComboBox1 = val;
but the functions aren't doing anything anyway, so I delete them all. I'm starting to think my installation is borked.
Project now compiles and runs, but there's no data, and I get:
ClassNotFoundException: com.pointbase.jdbc.jdbcUniversalDriver
At this point i should probably find the jar with that driver in it and mount this/add it to the classpath, but the boss has decided we'll use Borland Delphi 2005 .NET anyways, so I won't take this any further...

How can we delete the concurrent node entry from the FND_NODES table without running Autoconfig.
Currently we are having 3 nodes RAC and we are deciding to remove one node from the RAC and all 3 nodes are registered as concurrent node with application but concurrent manager is running only on one node.
Lot of the custom configuration we did it at application web tire level. If we run the Autoconfig at that time we need to redo those changes again that we are trying to avoid.

we are trying to avoid to run FND_CLONE.setup_clean because it will delete all the nodes entries from the FND_NODES.If those entries are invalid then they should be deleted.
Running AutoConfig after purging the table will populate it with the correct entries.
In order to populate the nodes entries again we need to run autoconfig and it will change the server id in fnd_nodes and then we need to redo the ADI client configuration on users PC and redo all the changes that we made in jserv and webserver.For ADI Clients, you should use the correct server ids which will be populated in the table for you once you run AutoConfig.
For jserv configuration, you can refer to (Customizing an AutoConfig Environment [ID 270519.1]) to make the preserve all your custom setup/configuration after running AutoConfig.
If there any custom script to delete only one node from the fnd_node so that we don't need to run autoconfig after that, then I really appreciate.No.

Now I tried to delete only one part of this file. For example all persons with the name"cocoon".
I used for this target the following statement:

When I execute this statement, Oracle DB delete all users and not only with the name "Cocoon".
How can I delete only one part of my xml file?

This the expected behavoir. You uploaded a document containing multiple users and then asked XML DB to delete any documnet that contained a user with the name in question. The problem here is that you are creating a mega document that contains an aggregation of user documents but then trying to work with individual user documents. This is a bad idea.
In general XML does not understand the concept of a collection of documents. It can only operate on one document at a time. Hence the tendancy to aggregate individual documents into a single larger document. Once you have an XML database, you can perform operations on collections of document, as easily as you can perform operations on individual documents, so the need to aggregate the individual documents together disappears.
If you store each user document as a seperate document then your delete will work as expected.

I installed the latest version of Firefox (7.0.1) on my Windows XP desktop and the install placed 3 firefox icons on my desktop: none of them work and none of them can be deleted(!)

In properties it says they are not valid shortcuts; when I try to delete it says "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk" what to do.... Is it possible to go back to a previous version? I was so happy with the previous version - I only installed the latest version because I was in Dreamweaver (the first time literally in years) and I wanted to view an .htm file in firefox, and when I selected that option, firefox automatically did a bunch of stuff I don't understand, but it seemed to me that what happened automatically was that a beta version of Firefox was installed, and I was prompted to select Firefox as the default browser (it has been my default browser forever, not sure how it was all of a sudden not my default browser)... anyway I thought that I could rid myself of the beta version and return to normalacy if I installed the latest version. Now I have these three invalid icons to deal with. Any help you can offer will be very much appreciated. It would make me very happy if I could delete the invalid icons from my desktop, or at least hide them from view somehow. I created a folder on the desktop, and tried to put them into it, but that didn't work.

Can't delete newly added row in inner advanced table

Hi!
Im using advanced in advanced table and i can't delete a row after i added in detail table, i have to refresh the page in order to delete the row.
This is what i do.
execute query from master table
expand row in master table
click Add row button in detail table(standard button in footer)
add data in columns
click save button
select row with multiselect and then click delete button but nothing's happend i just can delete older rows
also i can't edit the new row just older rows.
i think that is something wrong with the cache :S
any ideas?
