    Hi.....
    Procedure :
    RSA1>>>InfoObjects >>Right Click on InfoObject >>delete Master Data >> u can see the option of deleting SIDs............
    Otherwise........u can delete value from a SID table......u can use tcode SE14...........to delete the entries.........
    Check this......
    deleting contents of SID table.
    But still I will suggest u not to delete SID...........it may lead to inconsistency of data.........
    Try to repair SId using the program : RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL or RSRV...........

  • Create a new Row in an advanced table in an advanced table

    Hi,
    I am handling the master detail relationship. For this i have used advanced table in an advanced table. I am facing a problem while creating a new row in the inner advanced table.
    I have a Display Sequence column in the inner advanced table. I want to handle the logic for displaying the value of this attribute. As per dev guide i have attached the view link and for handling the Add New row event i am using the below code
    OAAdvancedTableBean sublineDetailsTableBean = (OAAdvancedTableBean) webBean.findChildRecursive("SublineAdvTableRN");
    OATableFooterBean sublineTableFooterBean = (OATableFooterBean) sublineDetailsTableBean.getFooter();
    if (sublineDetailsTableBean.getName().equals(pageContext.getParameter(SOURCE_PARAM))
    && ADD_ROWS_EVENT.equals(pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM)))
    This is working fine. The challenge i am facing is for creating a new row. Below is the code given in dev guide
    // get a handle to inner tableOATableBean innerTable =
    (OATableBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("InnerTableBean");
    // create an enumeratorOAInnerDataObjectEnumerator enum =
    new OAInnerDataObjectEnumerator(pageContext, innerTable);
    while (enum.hasMoreElements())
    RowSet innerRowSet = (RowSet) enum.nextElement();
    // get all rows
    Row []rowsInRange = innerRowSet.getAllRowsInRange();
    for (int i = 0; i < rowsInRange.length; i++)
    Row nextRow = (Row) rowsInRange;
    // In case you want to add new rows in this RowSet, you can do the same
    OARow newRow = (OARow) innerRowSet.createRow();
    // initialize value for some attribute and insert the row
    newRow.setAttribute("SomeAttr", "SomeValue");
    innerRowSet.insertRow(newRow);
    The Above code creates a new Row in all the master records.
    How do i identify that the add new Row event has been triggered for which master record?
    Can any body please help me on this. I am stuck from a long time and am unable to find the appropriate solution.
    Thanks in advance

    // initialize value for some attribute and insert the row
    newRow.setAttribute("DisplaySequence", new Number(lastLineDispSequence.intValue()+1));
    innerRowSet.insertRow(newRow);
    break;
    When i try to fetch the Line No which is the primary ID of the Parent VO, it always returns me the LineNO of the first Row and not of the parent row for which i have clicked the Add new Subline button of the Child record
    Number LineNo = voRow.getLineNo();
    System.out.println("Source Row Line No::"+LineNo);
    Is there any way to fetch the primary ID of the row for which i have selected the Add new Subline button
    Thanks

    Babu,
    You have been long enough in forum and still come out with these one liners. Problem statement is not clear.

  • Sorting a newly-added row within an ADF Read-Only Table

    I'm having a bit of trouble with a situation where I'm adding a new row to the data set behind an ADF Read-Only Table (I'm using 10g), but the new row is popping to the top rather than sorting in according to the sort order. I know this is the default behavior, and I was looking at section 23.4.4 in the Developer's Guide (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/b31974/web_tables_forms.htm#insertedID4 - which is actually for 11g), which advises programmatically queuing a SortEvent after the commit, and implementing a handler to execute the sort.
    The problem I'm having, though, is that my commit and the table I need to refresh are on different pages. I've tried adding a CoreTable binding (masterDetail1) for the table to the backing bean for the add page and doing this in the saveButton_action() method:
    BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
    OperationBinding operationBinding =
    bindings.getOperationBinding("Commit");
    Object result = operationBinding.execute();
    ArrayList<SortCriterion> masterDetail1SortCriteria = new ArrayList<SortCriterion>();
    SortCriterion discAsc = new SortCriterion("Disc", true);
    SortCriterion trkAsc = new SortCriterion("Trk", true);
    masterDetail1SortCriteria.add(discAsc);
    masterDetail1SortCriteria.add(trkAsc);
    masterDetail1.setSortCriteria(masterDetail1SortCriteria);
    ...but I get a NullPointerException as soon as I try to refer to masterDetail1. I've also tried creating a SortEvent but I'm not sure how to actually queue it or if that'll even work if I don't have a usable reference to the table.
    Any thoughts on how I can do this or on a better way to refresh the table so that the newly-added item falls into the existing sort?

    Hi,
    you cannot reference a table that is located on a different page from a managed bean of another page and expect its JSF binding to be non-null. As soon as a page is moving out of focus, its server side component tree is cleared and the managed bean (if its in request scope) dismissed

  • How can i get newly added contacts for a Mailbox User in Exchange Server 2013

    Hi all,
    I need to synchronize contacts in Exchange Server and Sugar CRM Application, for that
    i need to get newly added contacts for a User in Exchange Server 2013 by using EWS Managed API.
    I know how get the list of all contacts for a particular user , but in the list how i can find
    new contacts ?

    Hi Dora,
    that's the fun thing:
    You add your own property (and it'll be invisible to outlook users, not to worry).
    Extended Properties allow you to define custom property on Exchange Items. And it has a
    method for setting those too.
    Here's a short post doing a very simple intro on using Extended Properties.
    Glen's Exchange Blog is a generally useful resource when working with EWS, I'm confident you'll be able to find lots of tips there as well.
    Cheers,

    Does anyone knows what the problem could be ?
    Thanks in advance
    L

    How many rows are in that table?
    from another session, what is that session waiting on?
    select sid, event, total_waits, time_waited, round(average_wait,4) as average_wait
    , (round( (time_waited/m_sum), 4)*100)|| '%' as pct_tot_wait
    from v$session_event, (
    select sum(time_waited) m_sum
    from v$session_event
    where sid = <sid_of_hanging_session>
    ) s
    where sid = <sid_of_hanging_session>
    order by 4 desc;

  • How can I delete the last row of a Matrix

    Hi All,
    Does anyone know whether deleting the last row of a matrix controlled by a UDO child table gives problems? I have the strange effect that I cannot delete the very last existing row in the matrix, i.e. after updating the delete the last to-be deleted row comes back into my matrix !!
    I give you a snippet of my code (function getSelectedRow gives the selected row in the matrix):
    ==
    if (evnt.ItemUID.Equals(ViewConstants.Items.DELETEBUTTON))
      if (evnt.EventType == BoEventTypes.et_ITEM_PRESSED)
        if (evnt.BeforeAction)
          form = BusinessOne.Application.Forms.Item(formUID);
          mtx = (Matrix)form.Items.Item(ViewConstants.Items.MATRIX).Specific;
         int numRow = getSelectedRow(mtx);
         if (numRow != -1)
                                            mtx.DeleteRow(numRow);
                                            form.Mode = BoFormMode.fm_UPDATE_MODE;
                                       Item btn = (Item)form.Items.Item(ViewConstants.Items.ADDBUTTON);
                                       btn.Enabled = true;
    ==

  • Adding rows to linked Excel tables in InDesign

    Hi there, I have figured out how to link Excel documents to tables in InDesign, but is there a way to add additional rows to the tables in InDesign?  If I do that, whenever the Excel link is updated, it deletes the new rows I've added.
    We have data that goes in the cells below the linked table and it needs to be in the table so that they'll resize automatically when longer or shorter data is pulled in (vs. just being a totally separate text box/table outside of the linked one).
    Help!

    Hi, yes, I did add blank rows but the difficulty is that for each instance (20+) the cells below vary, and are also "tagged" with variable data tags (so it brings in outside data via an xml feed) so that's only done in InDesign and not in excel... Therein lies my dilemma.  Ideally if I could be "free" about what text, cells, etc. I can put in below the linked cells, that'd be lovely.

  • How to restrict deletion of all rows in a child table(Ex:all emps in a Dept

    I have use case where a table which has a child ID, parent ID and some other columns. I want to restrict deletion of all children of a parent.
    I tried a 'before delete' trigger as follows and ended up with a mutating table error-ORA-06512 Any suggestions on how this can be done.
    Following is the trigger I tried:
    create or replace
    TRIGGER C_MODULE_EXEC_SELECT
    BEFORE DELETE ON C_MODULE_EXEC_SELECT FOR EACH ROW
    DECLARE
    rowcnt number;
    BEGIN
    SELECT COUNT(MODULE_CODE) INTO rowcnt FROM C_MODULE_EXEC_SELECT WHERE EXEC_PLAN_ID=:OLD.EXEC_PLAN_ID AND MODULE_CODE != :OLD.MODULE_CODE;
    IF rowcnt = 0 THEN
         RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20000, 'Cannot remove all subject areas from a execution plan');
    END IF;
    END;
    Thanks,
    Sireesha

    What you have written is clear but it seems to me your rule, as stated, is not valid. At the point where you insert a parent, there will initially be no children. How is that different from any other parent with no children? Is there a guarantee, after inserting a parent, that a child record will be inserted? In one millisecond? One hour? One-hundred years?
    And why is the deletion of the last child record any less valid than the deletion of any other child record? Perhaps the rule should be ... when the last child record is deleted the parent should be deleted too. This would be far easier to enforce.
    Delete the children and each time check to see if the parent can be deleted. If an exception is raised then it can't be.

  • Get Row reference in advanced table to set the value of custom column

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to add a new column PHP Amount in Manage Charge page which is a entry page where all the charges are entered for a PO. This region is based on Advanced table.
    As per requirement, Newly created column should populate the value of the existing column (Amount) or vice verse i.e. value entered in amount column should be set to PHP Amount column for a particular row. and the value entered in PHP amount should be stored in the custom table.
    I have added the column via personalization and setting the view attribute in extended controller as this column is not the part of the database table on which the VO is based upon. Also added a  PPR event in process request function in controller. And getting the reference of the row in processForm Request's PPR event and invoking the method defined in my custom AM for getting and setting the columns values . Here i can't extend the root AM as the Page have LOV columns so i have created my custom AM and adding it dynamically in controller.
    Here is the complete code
    Controller Code
    public void processRequest(OAPageContext oapagecontext, OAWebBean oawebbean)
               super.processRequest(oapagecontext, oawebbean);
               OAApplicationModule rootAm = oapagecontext.getApplicationModule(oawebbean);
                OAApplicationModule nam = (OAApplicationModule)rootAm.findApplicationModule("XXIPCShipmentAMEx");
                 if (nam == null)
                     nam = (OAApplicationModule)rootAm.createApplicationModule("XXIPCShipmentAMEx", "xxipc.oracle.apps.inl.workbench.server.XXIPCShipmentAMEx");
               OAAdvancedTableBean tableBean =(OAAdvancedTableBean)oawebbean.findIndexedChildRecursive("ChargeLinesAdvTable");
               OAMessageTextInputBean phpAmt =(OAMessageTextInputBean)tableBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("XXIPC_PHP_AMOUNT");
               OAViewObject ChargeLinesVO1 = (OAViewObject)rootAm.findViewObject("ChargeLinesVO1");
                phpAmt.setViewUsageName("ChargeLinesVO1");
                if (ChargeLinesVO1 != null)
                    try
                      String l_att= ChargeLinesVO1.findAttributeDef("PHPAmt").toString();
                     catch(Exception exception)
                      ChargeLinesVO1.addDynamicAttribute("PHPAmt"); //Adding ViewAttribute to VO
                ChargeLinesVO1.reset();
                phpAmt.setViewAttributeName("PHPAmt");
               FirePartialAction FireActionA = new oracle.cabo.ui.action.FirePartialAction();
               FireActionA.setEvent("PPR");
               FireActionA.setUnvalidated(false);
               phpAmt.setPrimaryClientAction(FireActionA);
    public void processFormRequest(OAPageContext oapagecontext, OAWebBean oawebbean)
                super.processFormRequest(oapagecontext, oawebbean);
                OAApplicationModule rootAm = oapagecontext.getApplicationModule(oawebbean);
                OAApplicationModule nam = (OAApplicationModule)rootAm.findApplicationModule("XXIPCShipmentAMEx");
                OAAdvancedTableBean tableBean =(OAAdvancedTableBean)oawebbean.findIndexedChildRecursive("ChargeLinesAdvTable");
                OAMessageTextInputBean Amt =(OAMessageTextInputBean)tableBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("Amount");
                OAViewObject ChargeLinesVO1 = (OAViewObject)rootAm.findViewObject("ChargeLinesVO1");
                String rowRef = oapagecontext.getParameter(OAWebBeanConstants.EVENT_SOURCE_ROW_REFERENCE);
                Serializable[] param ={rowRef};
              // IF PPR event bind with PHPAmount column is triggered
                if("PPR".equals(oapagecontext.getParameter("event")))
                        nam.invokeMethod("PHPAmtPPRAction",param);
              // IF changeChargeAmt event(Standard Event ) bind with Amount column is triggered
               if("changeChargeAmt".equals(oapagecontext.getParameter("event")))
                  nam.invokeMethod("changeChargeAmtPPRAction",param);
    Custom AM Code
    public void PHPAmtPPRAction(String rowRef)
              OARow row = null;
              if (rowRef != null )
                   row=(OARow)findRowByRef(rowRef);
                   if(row != null)
                      Number phpAmt =(Number)row.getAttribute("PHPAmt");
                       if(phpAmt != null)
                              row.setAttribute("ChargeAmt", phpAmt);
      public void changeChargeAmtPPRAction(String rowRef)
            OARow row = null;
              if (rowRef != null )
                 row=(OARow)findRowByRef(rowRef);
                 if(row != null)
                     Number chargeAmt =(Number)row.getAttribute("ChargeAmt");
                     if(chargeAmt != null)
                             row.setAttribute("PHPAmt", chargeAmt );
    I m not able to set the PHP Amount column value entered in Amount column. But i am able to set the Amount column value to PHP amount column.
    I m not getting the Row Reference in case PPR event triggered in PHP Amount column . It is giving Null reference in case of PHP Amount.
    I don't know what i m missing ..Can anyone help me here..
    Thanks in advance
    Renu

    but using second way you will not be able to save those record in database, to save in database you have to override setter method also
    Code will be like this -
        public String getBillRemarks() {
           return getSuppNmTrans(); // This is first Column Value
           // return (String) getAttributeInternal(BILLREMARKS);    }
        public void setBillRemarks(String value) {
           //Setting First Column Value in Second
           setAttributeInternal(BILLREMARKS, getSuppNmTrans());
    But i suggest you to use valueChangeListener on first field to set value in second one

  • How to get handle to a MST bean for a particular row in an advanced table

    Hi
    Requirement:
    My advanced table has 2 columns, the 1st one has a LOV and the 2nd one is a switcher which toggles from LOV to MST depending on the value in the 1st column.
    Implementation Steps:
    1) Trap LOV event in 1st column and pass row index to the AM
    2) Get the VO row from the row index (EVENT_SOURCE_ROW_REFERENCE), set the switcher attribute to MST/LOV depending on Business Logic
    3) Get the view attribute value of the 2nd column (to which LOV/MST is mapped).
    My LOV/MST gets rendered correctly on the page. However, when the LOV renders in the 2nd column, the view attribute is correctly populated in the LOV. But the MST renders with no value.
    I understand that the MST loses value on form submission and that this value needs to be set in the PR of the CO. For that how do I get a handle to the MST bean of the particular row?
    This is urgent!!
    Thanks
    Ritu

    Pointers?
    Anyway I can make the MST in the row return the correct view attribute?

  • How to get selected row of an advanced table

    Hi All,
    I have created an advanced table with 5 rows and i can also add rows in that. Here my requirement is i want to get the data of a row which i have selected. There are 5 rows. i have entered data into all 5 rows. Suppose i have selected 3rd row i have to get that 3rd row. if i have selected 5th row i have to get 5th row.
    Can you please guide me to achieve this requirement..
    Many thanks
    Murali

    Hi ,
    you have to set the firepartialaction event on your selection button, then use row refernce to get the handle on specific button
    public void processFormRequest(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
    super.processFormRequest(pageContext, webBean);
    OAApplicationModule am =
    (OAApplicationModule)pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
    String event = pageContext.getParameter("event");
    if ("<ItemPPREventName>").equals(event))
    // Get the identifier of the PPR event source row
    String rowReference =
    pageContext.getParameter(OAWebBeanConstants.EVENT_SOURCE_ROW_REFERENCE);
    // write your business logic
    Thanks
