Can't download CS5?

The download thing started and it went all the way to the end, then it told me it didn't have enough disk space or something, but i have at least 90 gigs of space left. What's going on and how do I fix it?

Did you select your Program Files folder as the download location? This is usually what causes this error. Please try the download again this time selecting the User folder, which is default, or the desktop.

How can I download CS5 to a computer which does not contain an optical drive?

I am considering purchasing a 8GB Ultrabook (Sony or Dell) and was wanting to install Adobe CS5 onto it. I purchased Adobe CS5 suite last year via disc and have only realised Ultrabooks do not have a DVD drive. Is there a way I can install my purchased copy via an Internet download using my registration/security key or do I need to purchase an external DVD RW drive to install the software?

Can I download CS5 Mac (non-extended) and "reinstall" to fix problem?

I have my household goods in storage at commercial movers while new home is being renovated, and won't be accessible for 6-8 more weeks. While trying to fix an Adobe Air install (or shall I say "won't install") issue, I think I must have cleaned house too thoroughly and deleted a file that was needed.
When I launch CS5, I get the message:
"One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop."
I haven't used it heavily, but CS5 works ok for what I have been doing.
With other software, I have been able to download the demo, use my registration, and been good to go. The only option I can find at adobe.com is for Extended, and I don't want/need this. Is there a way to access the "regular" CS5, so I can clear up this issue?

I can not download CS5 Master for PC using Vista Home Premium

I have Intel Core 2 Quad, 64 bit operating system, 6 GB RAM, 425 GB Free disc space (586 GB Total). I still get a system requirement error message. Most of the time it seems like the disc is not being read. It tells me to insert Disc 2 but Disc 1 never really installs. When I put disc 2 in I get an error messages; one of them saying conflicting processes.

Instead of installing it from the disk you can try downloading it from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.
You might also want to try the following steps in case you still face errors during install :
> Enable the hidden Admin Account on Windows 7 ( Ref : http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-windows-vista/ )

You can download the trial installer directly from the link below. You will need to be on a trial download page in order to use the links, otherwise you will get an error message. For example load up the following page: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=production_premium before pasting the link into the address bar and login with your adobe id and then cancel the download.

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

Can´t download CS5 Extended

Hi!
I own a registered version of Photoshop CS5 and since I work with 3D and Postproduction I am really interested in Photoshop CS5 Extended to use the capabilities within it!
I went to the Adobe Store to try a 30-days version of Photoshop CS5 Extended since I wasn´t sure if the product would suite my needs. However something must be totally
wrong with the Adobe Store download functionality. I waited for an hour to take down what Adobe Store mentioned as Photoshop CS5 Extended but when I installed it a copy
of Photoshop CS5.1 (not extended) appeared!
My question is if Adobe think this is funny and if so, I would also like to know their theory of why a registered shall own two identical softwares? I recognized that when I log in
to their website they have all registered Adobe softwares I own available in their system. Im upset since now I guess my 30 days evaluation of the software will be limited because
of their weird behaviour when it comes to sending out the wrong products! I guess they are not willing to extend the evaluation period even if the wrong product was delivered to me.

Nope! This wasn´t a good idea either! It seems like Adobe Photoshop CS 5.1 is a hard nut to open (uack)! What am I doing wrong here? Was it crazy to first install every part of my registered version of Photoshop to make this happend?
All I wanted was to try out the capabilites of importing and save my 3D-Objects exported from Lightwave 3D as *.3ds files and then convert them into PSD-files Adobe Photoshop CS 5.1 for After Effects! I must be 100% sure that Lightwave 3D´s convert to *.3ds functions are alright on my machine before a purchase but if I can´t even do this it´s impossible for me to say if I shall update my software or not. I will not take any ones words for granted though I must try this IRL on my own machine before I invest money in Adobe Photoshop CS 5.1

Can you download CS5 'after' you download Cloud?

I was wondering if it is possible to buy adobe Cloud, purely to use for a few days until I get the open case for reinstalling my CS5 sorted THEN I can cancel Cloud (due to 30 day money back trial) and carry on with my CS5, which I WILL be able to sort, just not in the next few days.
Would this be possible, or once I've downloaded Cloud will I not be able to use an older version?

Hi everyone, i bought CS5 about 6 months ago for the mac but my macbook hard disk went caput so i lost the lot by that time cs5.5 had come along so im pretty sure my product code wont work with cs5.5 but il try. So can you be so helpful and point me to a download as i cant find cs5 on the adobe site only cs5.5?

It's a shame you didn't use Time Machine to make regular backups of your downloaded content. Furthermore, and only in hindsight, it would have been good
for you to exercise patience in delivery from Adobe to send you a boxed edition of your Creative Suite. That way you would always be able to install from the DVDs.
Well, I can only guess that you would have to purchase a copy from a third-party vendor or auction site if they still stock the original CS5.0 . You will have to get a new version that hasn't been previously opened and authorized or perhaps you can use the DVD that you get if you still have your original serial number(s) for your CS affiliated with your Adobe Account.

Creative CS5 will be released April 12, 2010. Is anyone know where we could download InDesign CS5 SDK? Thanks in advance.

This is a public user to user forum, with only rare participation of Adobe staff on their private spare time. Even then, they keep very tight lips on any details beyond the official announcements - the most concrete I've seen is that InDesign 7 will have features that are not in InDesign 6. So do not expect any miracles by posting here.
To eventually find out more, try to contact Adobe directly. As far as I know (I am external like most others here) the official way is this:
Go to http://partners.adobe.com which redirects to the partner portal https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/partnerportal/index.cfm.
In the right column, follow the link "Solution Partner program" - that means us external developers.
In the description of the different levels, you'll see points such as "debug software versions" or "pre-release software".
Use the "Contact Us" link to request any details on your specific questions - e.g. whether InDesign falls into any of these categories, time frames, preconditions for participation and so forth. If you are already member in any of the partner programs, you should have local contact information (e.g. phone number, email, request forms behind the login) and ask there.

Why can't Download CS5?

I purchased an iMac 10.9.2 (Maverick) and transferred inDesign CS5 from my older iMac 10.6.8. It would not open. Kept saying "Quit unexpectedly" even though never opened.
First person on chat said to reinstall it using original disk, but new iMac doesn't have disk drive. So she gave me link to download.
I could not open the download. It is marked with an X.
The next person on chat gave me the same link but said to download from CS Design Premium.
This also would not download. Another icon marked X.
Has anyone else had this problem and offer a solution?
