Can't email contents of page

Hi all
I use to be able to send html emails with Safari by simply clicking mail contents of this page.
Now whenever I click it, I get the following message..
''An email message can't be created because Safari can't find an email application.
You can use the Mail application included with Mac OS X to send webpages. To do so, you need to install Mail using the Mac OS X Install CDs.''
I have used this method for years. I have tested on a system that has not updated to the most recent OS X update 10.6.7 and it still works. I am on Safari 5.0.5. So perhaps the new update is conflicting with safari?

Scratch that, I've just found the solution.
If anyone gets this same problem.
Go to Mail > Preferences > General tab, set default mail reader to any other app. Close Mail and Safari, reopen mail, change back to Mail, open Safari and try again.
It now works.

Only if you copy and past it into the email (and of course it would no longer be a spreadsheet, just text). You can only send files as an attachment not portions of files. you could copy the contents oif the tab into a new file and save it.

ednagirl, couldn't agree more. Previously on my PC, I would create beautiful marketing pieces customized for each individual using the MS Word merge-to-email feature. I could choose to merge all or a select group and they would merge and create an individual email in my Outbox waiting for me to press Send All. The fact that there is no way to do this on a Mac that I've been able to fine is appalling! Attachments are not the same. For one thing, doesn't an email that starts "Dear Yvan" have much more appeal than just "Hey, open the really cool attachment!" Once received, the recipients thought I had taken time to write to them personally and it made a HUGE impact.

Can't email document from pages

I cannot email any document from pages . Kept getting message that says" can't send or save message", even though i get the swoosh message sent sound. This has never happened before.

I just tried it on my iPad and it went through.
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

Safari 3.0.4 (5523.10) scollbar disappears (can't access content off page)

Running Leopard (10.5.1) on a PowerBook G4. Safari constantly loses the scrollbar (which means I cannot scroll down to content not displayed on the current screen). I cannot refresh the screen and recover the scrollbar. I am forced to kill Safari and relaunch it again. This will work for sometime. . . until Safari loses the scrollbar again. . . .

My problem seems to have disappeared without me consciously doing anything. I experimented a bit and found that if I opened up a new window first I got the scrollbars and was ok. If I just opened a bookmarked page it came up without scrollbars. I am now getting scrollbars all of the time and all I have done is delete some old bookmarks I imported and sorted the others. Strange but not complaining if everything keeps working. Would still like the icon for new tabs if anyone is reading.

Can UCCX 10 / CUIC provide historical reports that include email content?
Currently I can only see email subject within historical reports, but on supervisor real time you can see email content.
Our customer wants to be able to report historically on email content, as its used for reviews etc.

Having looked at the DB schema I see that only the to/from/subject fields are logged in the database. That's all the would be available to CUIC.

That's not to say it's completely impossible - but it would be very complicated. You'd need to somehow extrac the content of the emails on the Exchange server into a database where it could be read in to CUIC. That could be very difficult, take up lots of space...

Yahoo mail starts to open an email (I can see the content) but then a message comes up saying "Whoops! The page could not be found. Try giving it another chanc"

When i am in Yahoo mail and am opening on an email to open, the email starts to open (I can see the content of the email for a second) and then I get a screen with a message that states 'Whoops! The page could not be found. Try giving it another chance below'. But the email had been there so I don't understand that is happening. This just stated happening about a week or two ago. There is a search bar in the center of the screen and at the bottom of the error page is the following.

Make sure that you access the Yahoo mail page via the Yahoo home page and not via a bookmarked link to a specific page.<br />
The latter may include POST or GET data that is no longer valid.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

How can I fixing content to a specific page?

I am making a template in numbers that has a series of pages that each contain spreadsheets. The document will be a template to use regularly. However the content may change each time i use it. On each page there are two small spreadsheets and a company logo at the top of the page. The problem i have is when i increase the number of lines in a spreadsheet on page 1 all the content on page 2 is moved down. This means i then have to then select all the content on page two and move it back into the right place i.e the logo back into the top right corner etc.
So what i need is a way to fix items to a page and If the size of the spreadsheet increase beyond the page it creates a new page and moves all the text below onto a totally seperate page rather than just moving down a little bit. Almost like a page break in Word does.
Is there a way to do this. I can email the template to you if it helps?

A table from sheet 2 may perfectly grab datas from a table of sheet 1 and vice versa.
In the table of sheet 1
cell B2 contains "Yvan KOENIG" (without the quotes)
cell B5 contains the formula

In the table of sheet 2
cell B2 contains 125
cell C2 contains 4
cell D8 contains the formula:

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to download content of wiki pages on SharePoint Online.
If just for getting the text of the page, I suggest you convert page to PDF file first and then download the PDF file via a Visual Web Part as a Sandboxed solution.

I can not longer send email from my .me email. in outlook 2010 on my PC. I can still recieve emails fine. I have not changed my settings at all. I have however tried all the settings i can find on the support pages. PLEASE HELP

Nothing has changed. This suddenly just started happening around a month ago. To frustrate me apple does not seem to have a support email or any method to contact them with this issue to do with their email product. I have spent ages going through the apple support sites and I keep getting asked for an apple product to mark it against. I have no apple product as I am using a PC but I am accessing and using their email product. Is there even a phone number I can call? Surely there is a support area for their Email server issues. Can anyone help? It is driving me mad and causing me major issues. My outlook is Outlook 2010 on a windows 8 PC. As I have said it worked fine then one day decided to stop sending emails.

When I load Safari on my IPAD2, the web page comes up, but I can't scroll down the page. No matter what web page I go to the content stays darker than the navigation bar. This just started today. All other applications work fine.

If it's happening on all sites, then assuming that it's Safari that you're using, have you tried clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (other browsers should have similar options, possibly within the actual app instead of within Settings). You could also try closing the app completely : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app (or whichever browser you're using) to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it's only happening on a particular site then there may be content on that site that isn't supported on the iPad e.g. flash, java, silverlight

That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.

Correct. The difference between "Mail PDF" and "Save PDF" is that the first opens a new Mail message with the file attached. the second saves a file which you may attach to an email message.

Not familiar with Terrainathome, but my guess is that the company is sending an email message containing HTML code that downloads what's essentially a web page into the displayed message. To do that, you'll need a website, software that will produce the necessary HTML code, and recipients with email clients capable of interpreting HTML (which is 'most email clients' these days).

When you first open the attachment (e.g. on your phone) than you can mail only that attachment. Works fine with my husbands blackberry.
