Can't get a profile picture on BBM
Hi! I just got my Curve 8530 today and downloaded Blackberry Messenger. Now everyone is telling me I need a profile picture for BBM. I have gone to BBM and hit menu and there is no My Profile option. It says My Info, but nowhere is there a place to add a picture. Is there something I'm missing here? I have searhed everywhere on Google.
With no Profile image specified you should have a "generic" image. Of you highlight that image and click it it should take you to your saved images. Select an image and it will go to show your image with a cropping square. A menu then is active for cropping and saving.
Having a profile image is not something that is "needed" as in "required".
Once you have an image you will have active menu items for subsequently changing the image.

Verify you are using iPhoto11 ver 9.5
if not run the >Software update or check your apps folder and make sure the correct iPhoto is launched, not an older ver. -

Can i get all my pictures back on my computer (icloud, itunes, etc.) from my totally smashed (no longer has a screen) iPod touch 4th gen if its locked without going to the apple store? There is absolutely no way to put in my password on my ipod. Its literally in pieces. i have the ipod itself, and the thing underneath it, but no screen, its not like its cracked, its actually gone and i can see the inside of the ipod. Thats what comes up every time i connect my ipod, so i know it works vvv. Please help! </3 i'm gonna die without my pics. My dad wont take me to the apple store. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Pictures will load to the photostream just fine, i can see them on both my ipad and iphone, but they stoped uploading to my PC 10 days ago? I can not get any new pictures from my iphone to my PC, what can i do to fix this?
Sign out of the iCloud control panel and then back in.

I have an ipad3. I brought brought a wireless AV Box to view videos on the TV. I have tried this on both hdmi TV an can only get sound no picture. Any help would be appreciated. I am new to iPad so not too tech please.

I took my profile picture with the camera built-in to my new MacBook Pro. When I look at System Preferences > Users & Groups, I can see my recent profile pictures but I don't know where in my hard disk they are saved. Help?

Show us a screenshot of the filename in LR that includes the extension of the file.
Right-click on one of these files and do Show in Explorer, then show us a screenshot of the files in the folder that includes the extensions--maybe a Details view. -

Restore to your last backup. It will contain your camera roll photos and videos.

How can I change my profile picture
Dear All, The Modern Skype with touch-screen features looks completely different from the old Skype that we used with Win 7 and earlier versions. For example, in the old Skype, we could go to the Skype button and easily scroll to "Change your profile picture". In the new Skype, there is no functionality to do this. (That is, as far as I know). If you click on "My account", it takes you to the Skype website. In that, you can go to "My Profile", and then "Edit", but the edit does not have any button next to your picture to enable you to change it. In short, I don't know what to do. Please help. Everytime I try to open firefox on my desktop it says "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." So now I cannot open firefox at all and I can't figure out how to get a profile. I just had to delete some programs to gain memory on my system and that is when the problem started. Have you looked at the Knowledge Base article [[Recovering important data from an old profile]]? There are steps in there that might help you. You might just want to create a new profile and start fresh.

Which phone do you have?
Easiest way is to change the storage location to the removable SD card then put that in your other phone (provided it has an SD card slot)
Other options Change storage to SD card then use a computer to transfer to the new phone
Plug old phone into the computer, load the driver and copy them off the old phone to the computer, then plug new phone in and copy them to the new phone
Download JS Backup from the Play store onto both phones (provided the new one is an android as well) then on the old phone use the Device to device transfer method to create a backup, and on the new phone use the device to device import to import the pics.
Whatever you do.... STAY AWAY from Verizon Cloud. Chances are you will never see all of your pictures again and will have tons of trouble getting to them to move or do anything with them. If you want to use a Cloud Storage, get Dropbox on your old phone and new phone, move the pics into dropbox then onto the new phone. -

In OS X Lion and Mountain Lion, the option to change the profile picture changed, making difficult the process to select a iPhoto library photo as the account picture.
First, open System Preferences > Users & Groups, and press the user picture. Then, open iPhoto and drag the photo you want to use as your account picture to the box with the user picture in System Preferences. Now, set up the photo as you want and accept it, so you will be using this photo as your account picture -
