Can't Get Desired Results from Lookup Transformation

In my Dataflow, I have an ole db source table where the key is named 'CatalogNumber'. In my lookup transformation, I am using Full cache, OLE DB connection manager, and 'Redirect rows to no match output'. With that configuration, I expect that if the
destination table has no data in it, that a match on CatalogNumber will not be made, the data will flow through the 'Lookup No Match Output' path, and populate the destination table.
In the lookup transformation, I have a join between 'Available Input Columns' and 'Available Lookup Columns' on 'CatelogNumber'. In 'Available Lookup Columns', the box by CatelogNumber is checked.
I also have 'Lookup Match Output' configured to the same table. When I execute the dataflow, the data always takes the 'Lookup MatchOutput route whether or not the destination table is empty, and thus creates duplicate records.
What am I doing wrong?

According to your description that 'Lookup Match Output' and 'Lookup No Match Output' are configured to the same destination table, the result should be all data are stored in the destination table, and the 'lookup.CatelogNumber' column has data for 'Lookup

This modification is an extraction of a sub string with SUBSTR function of oracle.
The problem is that I can to get the result on my java code

You need to post code that actually has the problem.
Given that you are using names, rather than indexes, usually the problem is that the name doesn't match what is actually in the meta data. Try printing the meta data. And try using indexes just to verify that there is in fact a result (which would be another reason for not getting it.)

Without using SubReport or SQL Command in Main Report, get desired results without duplicating

It seems so simple. I just need the cost, at a certain time (based on a parameter), for each item. I wrote a SQL Command that works beautifully, but when it connects to the existing report, it slows to a horrible crawl and cannot be used for tables with over 4 million records. Here is the SQL Command that provides the desired results:

I've attached the report with saved data. However, when I remove the restrictions of just certain items, it is unusable as it is SO SLOW!
I can also get the desired results from using a subreport but it takes forever to export due to the number of records/items. Whenever possible, I avoid subreports for this reason. I've attached that report with data as well.
Please be patient as I'm not savvy in SQL, but decent in generating reports. What am I doing wrong? This seems SO simple. The premise is that I want the corresponding information based on the date entered: If the date entered is 3/15/2014, the result should be 91.15 as indicated below. I'd simply like this value to be placed in a formula per item.

if you're going the inline subquery route, try something like the following...the last line in the sub-query 'where' clause should in theory take care of matching the correct price based on relating the item id's between your cost price & inventory data. this should leave you with distinct values for each itemid then. hopefully it won't error out as i'm just guessing on the syntax.

Can you get values back from a stored procedure via OUTPUT parameters?

Can you get values back from calling a stored procedure via OUTPUT parameters/variables? I call the SP via a SQL statement from a script either in a WF or DF.
I thought I read some reference that DI could not get the values from OUTPUT parameters but I could not find it again (don't know if it is in any of the documentation or referred to in a forum.
I did try a couple of tests but it did not reutrn any values via OUTPUT. But before I give up I thought I'd see if you could and maybe I needed to change something.

This isn't exactly an answer to your question, but I'll point out that, given that you're resorting to a SQL script in the first place, there's no reason you can't also turn the output parameters into a regular result or record set. (The following uses T-SQL, although I think it's pretty generic.)

select @param1 as param1, @param2 as param2;
That is, to get from output parameters to a "regular" output from the SQL script isn't much of a leap...

How to get save result from EXECUTE from a dynamic SQL query in another table?

With this query I want get col1 from SET and compare it to the column Region from Customer. I would like to get the matching CustomerKey for it.
After execution it says commands are executed successfully. But I want to save the result from @query in another table. I looked it up and most people say to use sp_executesql. I tried a few constructions as sampled and I would always get this error:
Msg 214, Level 16, State 2, Procedure sp_executesql, Line 12
Procedure expects parameter '@statement' of type 'ntext/nchar/nvarchar'.
So the output should be a list of CustomerKeys in another table.
How can I save the results from EXECUTE into a variable? Then I assume I can INSERT INTO - SELECT in another table.

Problem in Flex to get XML result from web services

I am struggling a proplem for a whole day, i hope somebody can help.
I am trying to get the list file of files located on the server, so i use flex to access a ASP.NET ASMX web services, that returns all the file names in a folder.
I can see that web servicese worked perfectly, however when i try to get the result from flex, i could not figure out how to get the real data i wantted

How can I get spool result for background mode AFAB

Dear experts,
Could you help me? My users run AFAB without run that in test mode. Therefore sometimes I have a difference in ledger (main book) and FI-AA. I am wanting to write coat for AFAB where I am runing programme in test mode and then run that in workering mode. AFAB run in background.
How can I get result first (test) run from spool? Could you tell me any solutions for that problem?

You can create one warpper program which can submit the report in the background job with option to send the output to MEMORY. You can use the JOB_OPEN and JOB_CLOSE FMs to schedule a background job.
Than you can use the FM 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY' to get the results from the memory.
Like:
DATA list_tab TYPE TABLE OF abaplist.
SUBMIT report EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY
              AND RETURN.
CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'
TABLES
    listobject = list_tab
EXCEPTIONS

We have Oracle 8i Entreprise Edition and We like to get XML result from an Oracle request. Can I use only Oracle 8i Entreprise Edition product or should i use another oracle product to do this job ?

start_no end_no activity_date

I have to create a report which lists the the specific range.
If the next record's start_no is the immediate next number for the prevoius record's
end_no .....then it has to display all those numbers in a range until it finds a number which is not next immediate number for the previous record's end number.
like for example....if the user wants to see from 1 to 20 range.
then the result must be like this........
start_no end_no
05001000001 05001000002-------there is no 05001000003 number in the
05001000015 05001000020 start numbers so it has to stop its range by this number).
How can i get this result........

i have one input table and two output tables (name it as output1, output2). Selected rows from input table are displayed in output1 table. The data in output1 table is temporary(means the dat wont store in database just for display purpose).

A. Safwat,
As I said before, I was not trying to be offensive, but simply to explain some of the shortcomings of one solution over another. One of the reasons people give such short answers is that many questions (including this one) have been asked and answered many many many times before on the forum. As to my reasons:
1). Overkill - overkill because you are writing code to do what the framework already provides for you.
2). Not bind-variable friendly - you are gluing in literals into a SQL statement. That means that Oracle will have to hard parse the query for each new value of the filter clause, yielding to poor performance, particularly in a multiuser environment. It should ideally be done using bind variables.
3). Insecure (think about what happens if you put "'xyz' or 1=1" into the filterValue there) - not using bind variables is a security hole. Think through what happens if a filter criteria comes through like the one I mentioned.
4). Inflexible - because you are overriding executeQueryForCollection, this VO becomes inflexible and can only be used in this particular place. Using the declarative approach outlined by Timo is more flexible
5). Bad (ok, that's my opinion there) - OK, perhaps this was a bit offensive ;)
Please don't take a critique of a post as offensive, as I assure you it was not intended to be in that spirit. As I mentioned, I greatly appreciate when people point out issues/problems/etc with my ideas, as that is the best way for me to learn. I have in the past written applications that were not bind-variable friendly, and I learned the downsides the hard way (system was horribly non-performant) - I wish someone had reviewed my approach and told me "bad idea" before the application made it into production.

You can't. iCloud is not for general file backup from a Mac. It's for backup up and syncing data between mobile devices and and Macs and The following is from this Apple document: iCloud: Backup and restore overview.
