Can't get photo with messasge from android phone

I can't seem to get a photo with a text message from a person with an Android phone. Get the text but not the photo

This has just happened to me. All photos form 3-5 (approx) days ago are gone. :---( An icon is there but the photo doesnt appear.
How did you fix this? Did you get your text photos back?

As long as you have iCloud Control Panel installed on your computer, they should show up in your Pictures folder under My Photo Stream.

Can't get photo with transparent background to show up that way

I'm quite new to PSE (using ver. 6) so thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
I have a photo, and have made the background transparent, and saved it as a GIF file. When opened, it shows up with the checkered background. Good so far.
When I drag this photo from the Project Bin at the bottom (where I still see the checkerd background) into the image I'm working on, it shows up with a solid gray background once dropped into that image. So in essence, the background is no longer transparent.
How do I add this photo with the transparent background to the image I'm working on without a background / frame showing up? I've combed the internet and can't find an answer, and searching this forum, still coming up empty. I think the problem has to do with dragging it from the project bin. How else can I get it into the image I'm working on?

In PSE 6, dragging up from the project bin creates a special kind of passthrough layer. Copy/paste, or drag it down from the gif's image window into the other file in the project bin instead.

New hard drive, can't get photos to load from "iTunes sync" back into aperture or iPhoto

My hard drive crashed while in for service. I had over 10,000 photos in aperture and they were not able to recover any of them. When I connected my iPhone 5 to iTunes, I see at the bar on the bottom that shows storage that there are 10,000+ photos but I can't get at them. I can see a few photos on my phone that did not sync to the new iPhoto so I know there is still something left on my phone too. How do I rescue my photos?

Good news- this is all so much simpler that you think. (I know because I too struggled with it for days.) It turns ou that you have to do NOTHING to set up streaming with 2.0. Once you have synced your computer, just leave your computer running and on your TV using ATV you will see whatever movies you have imported into iTunes in the movie menu even if you have not synced them. The only way that you can tell that they are not synced is that when you select them to play the streaming bar will appear briefly at the bottom of your TV screen to indicate that it is being synced. If you turn your computer off the movie that you have chosen would not even appear in the menu.
Hope this helps- it is too bad apple doesn't give more info about using ATV!

How can I get my game back from another phone?

I played high school story on my old phone. (iPhone 5c) well the screen cracked so I went to try to get another screen but instead they gave me a whole other new phone.(anther iPhone 5c) I got high school story on the App Store and logged in through Facebook but then it was wanting me to sign in via Game Center. I signed in using the same Apple ID I used on my old phone but then it made me choose a 'nickname' I remembered my old one from my phone so I tried to enter that. it said that the nickname was already taken. (yes, it was...by MY OLD NICKNAME!) My question is how do I get that nickname back in order to get my progress from that game back. or is there any way at all to get my progress back? with the new nickname it made me enter, I had to start all over on the game.

I can't get photos to transfer from iPad to macbook

I just got a new MacBook and updated my iPad to IOS7. Only a small fraction of my photos transfered through iCloud. I tried syncing the photos through an iTunes sync with the new MB but only a portion of the photos show up in iPhoto on the MB. And each time I try to resync, iPhoto tells me that all photos have been synced but they clearly have not. Any suggestions?
I am also trying to back up through Dropbox but would much prefer to sync through iPhoto.

Where did the photos on the iPhone come from? What is in Camera Roll on the iPhone?
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad and iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

You have to delete the messages from the individual device. If you delete messages on one device, messages on the other are not automatically deleted.

Thanks for the help, but i've actually done that before.
It does not help, because it only shows the photos on the camera roll and do not show the photos synchronized with that pc that i dont have access anymore.
The photos/albums all appear on the ipad, i can see it without problems but i cant get them out of the ipad to save onto pc for backup.
And i reaaly need it, as it is the only place that i actually have these photos now...

Is there a way to change the pin color in iPhoto so I can pin my photos and places from those from others. i think it would be cool to see where my friends have also been but not mix it with mine. Thanks

Be sure Safari does not have the Block Pop-Up Windows preference set.
Where I work now there are several unencrypted VLANs that require authentication, and Safari promptly pops up a window for me to register every time.
