Can't get the trail run to open, i've only been on it once.

I downloaded the free 30 day trail yesterday. I was able to open it this morning and start editing. I closed it out, tried to open it now and it won't open. a
Any suggestions??

I wasn't even able to get to the sign in screen. I try to open it now and it won't do anything. Have you had problems?

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

How can I start from a CD if I can't get the CD tray to open?

My PowerMac won't start. I want to insert a bootable CD into it, but I can't get the CD tray to open. Pressing the CD button on the keyboard does nothing.
I remember on the old iMacs with a CD tray, you could push a paper clip into a hole to get the CD tray to open. Is there anything like that on a PowerMac? Or any other tip that I can use so I can open the CD tray?

Try this -
Restart or boot, immediately press the Option key and keep it held down. That should bring up Startup Manager, a bright blue screen with icons for available boot volumes.
If the CD drive is empty at this time, press Command-. (Command-periodkey) - this is an instruction to the Mac to open the tray. Then insert your disk and wait a bit for it to spin up and get read.
Old style Startup Manager - then click the circular arrow on the left - this instructs the Mac to rescan buses. Your bootable CD should then appear onscreen. Click it and then click the straight arrow.
New style Startup Manager -

- you will probably need to restart after the disk is in, holding down the C key to force a boot using the CD as the boot volume.

Are you:
double-clicking?
clicking the effect and clicking Apply?
dragging the effect thumbnail to the image?
Is this everything in the palette or only a few things? If you can't apply filters from the palette, do they work from the Filter menu?

Can't get the new pages to open on iMac running parallels

I have downloaded new version of Pages but when I go to launchpad and try to open the icon appears for a second and then nothing happens. Same with Presentation and Numbers. The old versions seem to work - any help? I am running Mavericks and am testing out Parallels but am losing patience.

I have upgraded iTunes software for my iPod Touch and my PC. iTunes store will not open on my PC. Is it supposed to open to purchase items or do I have to use the iPod Touch for all of this.

A message appears stating that iTunes has stopped working. This happens everytime. I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it and still the same thing happens. Is the problem in windows or the new iTunes that came out in October. The computer has worked in the past, but I not had a need to go to the iTunes Store for several weeks and now I can't get to it from my PC. It works fine from my iPod Touch. for getting the active form

If you don't have your install disks you can get the gray install disks by calling Apple StoreCustomer Service at 1-800-676-2775 They can send them to you for about $16 per disk plus S & H. Just give them your serial number and they'll know which ones you need. Which would be $32 for the two disks. With the original disks you also get the iLife that was current when your MacBook was bought included on the #2 disk.

Download is visible on desktop but will not initiate
Clicking on download causes it to attempt opening but ceases opening
