Can't launch Visual Admin. - go.jar file is missing

Hi Guys..
                I try to launch visual admin directly using go.bat but getting an error that go.jar is missing.
can I copy it from somewhere.. ?
Cheers

go.jar file is executable file, go.bat has reference to this go.jar. Thus, when you click go.bat it basically calling go.jar only
If you have taken any back earlier try to restore. As you know, VA contains all configuration details specific to your configuration/build so i do not think it's good idea to use some other system's go.jar file.

  • Can't able to access the Jar files which is kept inside the folder.

    Hi,
    I am using the eclipse IDE, my project folder contains the folders src, bin, .metadata, .settings
    if i place the jar file in the same location of the above mentioned folder means i can able to use the Jar file in eclipse(in my project).
    But i create one folder in the same location in the name of Jar or anything and all jar files are placed inside the folder,then i can't able to access the jar file in eclipse(in my project).
    How i can solve this problem?

    RajivGuna wrote:
    ..How i can solve this problem?Put Eclipse aside for the moment and learn how the SDK tools work at the level of the command line, then you will be much better placed to figure how to do it in the IDE. If you are still having problems, I suggest you ask on an [Eclipse forum|http://www.eclipse.org/forums/].

    Can not sync my 3GS.  Get error message:  this iphone can not be synced.  The required file is missing,  What file?

    If you're on a mac, close iPhoto if it is open. In Finder open Pictures and right-click on iPhoto Library. Select Show Package Contents. Right-click the iPod Photo Cache folder, select Move to Trash. Now sync and the "this iphone can not be synced.  The required file is missing" error should be fixed.

  • How can I reference more than one jar file

    hi, In an applet, I use
    Archive = "foo.jar" to reference this jar file.
    But how can I reference more than one file?
    Thanks.

    Suggestion: spend a few minutes reading the tutorials.
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/applet/appletsonly/html.html
    You can specify multiple archive files by separating them with commas:
    <APPLET CODE="myapplet.class" ARCHIVE="file1, file2"     WIDTH=anInt HEIGHT=anInt>
    </APPLET>

  • Can I include dlls in a jar file for deployment?

    I have a set of dll's I need to deploy (some kind of database driver needed along with my java application) in a client/server situation. Instead of copying these dll's to the client's system32 folder on windows, can I simply include these dll's in the jar file containing my java applications?

    No it was just to make everything cleaner. But if I have to take them outside of the jar file, then like you say there's no benefit in putting them in there in the first place.
    As for having the dll's in the same directory or a sub directory, how can I load them then? Using the function System.loadLibrary?

  • How can I stop Microsoft IE renaming .jar files to .zip files?

    I realise this question has been asked before on this forum, but as far as I can tell no answer has yet been posted.
    If I put a .jar file on my webserver for people to download, later versions of Internet Explorer will rename the file from xxx.jar to xxx.zip on the client's machine. Is there any way of stopping this from happening?
    It looks like the problem is caused by IE examining the contents of the file and realising it uses ZIP compression. As a result, any file that I create (not just jars) that uses Java to zip the contents, when placed on a web server, gets interpreted as a .zip file by IE regardless of its extension.
    I realise there are some workarounds such as zipping the .jar file, creating a .exe file from the .jar, telling everyone to use Firefox etc., but none of these are really acceptable or particularly efficient. I am really hoping there is something I can do to the .jar file or the compression process that will tell IE to leave the file alone.
    Thanks,
    Jo.

    You can save any kind of document on iCloud Drive, as long as the file size is smaller than 15GB.
    See:   iCloud Drive FAQ
    Create a new folder for your Office documents on iCloud Drive and drag your documents there, or select iCloud Drive in the File Chooser panel, when you save a document.

  • Can't install compatible Symbian and .JAR files on...

    Hi. I have recently downloaded some free Symbian files over the internet, all compatible with Nokia 6120c. The problem is when I open up the Nokia Application Installer via Nokia PC Suite 3.84, I am able to browse for the downloaded files, but I am unable to install them onto my Nokia 6120c. An error message is written under the dropdown box on the right, saying "The contents of the current phone cannot displayed by the application". I tried re-downloading and re-installing Nokia PC Suite in both Nokia Europe and Nokia Asia websites, but still the same error appears. By the way, I am using Windows Vista OS on my laptop. I'd be grateful if anyone could help me out!

    I can't help on the .jar files as they need Nokia application installer open. and to select which ones.
    But with the symbian application files you should just double click them and a message should pop up saying 'Do you want to install this application to the phone'.
    Does it not say that?
    Or right click on the symbian file and press open with - and then look for Nokia Application installer.
    Then it should now install to your phone without opening nokia application installer.

  • Can't start RMI server using JAR file

    I found it interesting that if I start my RMI server from
    a plain directory, everything goes fine.
    But if I jar all these necessary files into a jar file,
    and start my RMI server with command below
    java -jar server.jar
    UnmarshalException and ClassNotFoundException are
    thrown to indecate that my stub class can't be found
    (which I'm sure my stub class is in jar file)
    Why is jar file so special that it can't act like
    what it originally does when it hasn't been jared?
    or I really should take care of some configuration
    before I really can run a jar file?
    thanks

    To clarify few things...
    What I don't understand is that when I convert all my
    directories and class files properly into the jar file, they
    just can't work properly.
    I don't know if it's a problem of JAR file,
    or it's RMI that make this JAR file special?
    I'll simulate my JAR file structure that listed below,
    these structure works fine when they have'nt been
    converted into JAR file.
    META-INF/
    META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
    a/b/x1.class
    a/b/x2.class
    a/b/c/Y.class
    a/b/c/Y_Skel.class
    a/b/c/Y_Stub.class
    And when I use command "java -jar server.jar"
    to run my application, ClassNotFound exception
    is thrown to indecate my stub class is not found.
    Is there anything I can do to correct this?
    thanks

  • Launch Configuration for Eclipse JAR file

    Hi all, I am very new to Eclipse and pretty new to Java but I am just trying to create a simple JAR file that runs a system executable such as calc. Very easy :)
    I haven't had any issue running the code as an applet inside eclipse but when trying to create a runnable JAR, it doesn't give me any launch configurations to choose from. This doesn't make sense as I have launch configurations set up for it (under run.. run configurations I have two set up as Java Applets).
    import java.io.*;
    import java.applet.*;
    public class test2 extends Applet {
         public void init(){
              try {
                   Runtime.getRuntime().exec("calc");
              catch (IOException e) {}
    };Anyone have any ideas? If you need more info just let me know.
    Thanks

  • Can you use JMF in a jar file?

    I was reading a old thread and it said that you can not use JMF
    when working with a jar file but i can not find that thread again
    so i was just wondering if it was true or if i just read something
    out of context.

    Why don't you try it? I haven't used JMF myself but given the question you posed I would simply use logic to answer it.
    The answer is yes by the way, how many Jars make up the API?

  • How can I access EJB  through executable jar file?

    Hello buddies!!
    I wonder if anyone could give me an explanation of how accessing EJB through executable jar file?Thanks!!

    Hi there,
    You'll need to install the J2EE SDK on the client and include the <j2ee install dir>\lib\j2ee.jar file in your CLASSPATH along with the Client Jar file that was generated by the deploytool when you deployed the application.
    In your client code the Context properties are as follows:
    Properties p = new Properties();
    p.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory");
    p.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "iiop://hostname:portnumber");
    Context cntx = new InitialContext(p).Hope this helps
