Can't mmap anonymous memory

Hello all,
Yesterday I could not run 'sort' command from shell:
root> cat foo.txt | sort
sort: can't mmap anonymous memory: Resource temporarily unavailable
where foo.txt is a text plain file:
root> ls -la foo.txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6443 Feb 25 15:07 foo.txt
I have two questions:
1. How can I fix this temporary issue ? (2 minutes after, I successfully run the command without error)
2. How can I increase the /tmp swap area in Solaris 10 (SWAP 2 GB, RAM 4GB)?
Here below is the detailed info of my OS:
OS: Solaris 10 10/09 s10x_u8wos_08a X86
SWAP area: zfs list
rpool_hera/swap 2G 196G 243M -
hera:root>df -k -F tmpfs
Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
swap 236964 588 236376 1% /etc/svc/volatile
swap 241312 4944 236368 3% /tmp
swap 236420 52 236368 1% /var/run
I want to increase my /tmp swap at least 512Mbytes.
Any help would be appreciated.

Secondly, you're doing that backwards.
sort foo.txt
would be more efficient.

I'm not so sure about zfs swap, perhaps
zfs set quota=1G rpool_hera/swap
