Can't move arbitration mailbox to another database

I'm trying to delete one database which was the first database we created when we implemented Exchange 2010 , we move all the mailboxes to the new database we created and everything went smooth , also i found that there are some arbitration mailboxes must
be moved too which are
-SystemMailbox{e0dc1c29-89c3-4034-b678-e6c29d823ed9}
-SystemMailbox{1f05a927-6a10-4cf0-9ca8-fe760801586b}
-FederatedEmail.4c1f4d8b-8179-4148-93bf-00a95fa1e042
i was able to move the first tow SystemMailboxes with no issue but when i tried to move (Federatedemail) using this command
New-MoveRequest -Identity 'FederatedEmail.4c1f4d8b-8179-4148-93bf-00a95fa1e042' -TargetDatabase "DB01"
i received this message:
Mailbox size 1.552 MB (1,626,956 bytes) exceeds target quota 1 MB (1,048,576 bytes).

  • Can't move FederatedEmail mailbox to new database

I've searched other related threads but cannot locate the problem. I've recently moved all of our mailboxes out of the default mailbox and into 4 smaller db's. All the user mailboxes are moved, as well as Discovery and SystemMailboxes. But I cannot
get the FederatedEmail arbitration mailbox to move. Also, how many SystemMailboxes should I have? I noticed it reports I have more than one, but not one per database.
It seems to be barking about the default quota limit in the destination database, which is set to 1GB/1.25GB/1.5GB. However, it reports the size of the arbitration mailbox as being 1MB but it still says the target quota is 1MB. What am I missing?

    Hi
Open up that federated mailbox in AD.
Clear the Attributes on the account as per below:
    mDBOverHardQuotaLimit
    mDBOverStorageQuota
    mDBUseDefaults
    Try move the mailbox.
Hope this helps. Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

  • Move mailbox to another database failed with MapiExceptionNoSupport

I am getting a failure when I try to move certain mailboxes from one database to another on my Exchange 2010 environment. Everything I find on the web shows something about permissions and seems to all be related to a Exchange 2003 to 2010 migration. The
fix is to use PFDAVAdmin which seems to be old and I can't really tell if it supports 2010.
Here is the logs (Notice the different build numbers of the mailbox servers... however I verified that bot hservers are the same build)

  • Can't move a mailbox anymore

    Dear all,
I'm having troubles migrating to Exchange 2013... I'm unable to move any mailbox anymore.
When I create a new move request, it stays forever in "queued" status. Now this request has been removed, but I've noticed that when I do the following command, I still have a result :
Get-MoveRequestStatistics -MoveRequestQueue "users mailbox" give me the result :
    DisplayName StatusDetail TotalMailboxSize TotalArchiveSize PercentComplete
    User Queued 728.3 MB (763,717,331 ... 1.134 GB (1,217,377,9... 0
But if I do Get-MoveRequestStatistics user I get nothing. I've also checked with ADSI edit if the fields for moves were holding something but they are all empty.
I think the result above is the reason why I can't move anything anymore (move is kinda stuck at database level), but I don't know how to remove it.
    Any hint/help ? Thanks in advance ! :-)
PS : this database was before synced with a distant DAG copy. I've removed the copy when I started having issues. Copy was configured with "-DataMoveReplicationConstraint None" in order having issues with the DAG queue while moving mailboxes.

Check if move request is still in queue using Get-MoveRequest, try running Remove-MoveRequest to remove mailbox move. Try -whatif switch next time to see if find errors

  • How can I move a mailbox folder and messages in it to a My Documents folder?

I use meailboxes in Mail to keep project communications in while I am working on them. When the project is completed, I would like to move that mailbox and all its contents to a folder in My Documents. How do I do that?

    Hello:
When you export a mailbox, it is exported with a .mbox suffix.  You would need to import it to read it.
I thought about what you want to do...
If you use Time Machine, you could simply delete the folder you are finished with....you could always retrieve the entire mailbox or specific messages.
I do not know of a way that you can simply move the messages to someplace else on your system.

  • Can proc or oci failover to another database?

    Hi all,
Now I have a rac9i database (two machine), as for sqlplus ,
when I shut down a database, it will failover to another database,
just wait a moment, several seconds.
But for a Proc program , when shutdown one database,
can it failover to another database? How can I deal these problems well?
    Thanks.

I am not sure but I am guessing that your program should really not be concerned with failover using RAC. OCI and OCCI are both compliant with RAC and as long as you are using these APIs, your actual application does not need to worry about which instance is being used in the RAC.
Or am I missing your point?

  • How Can i Move iCloud Email to Another Apple ID

    Hi There
    I have 2 Apple IDS
Apple ID 1 is linked to my imessage and linked to an @me.com email address
Apple ID 2 has no icloud email
I basically want to move my icloud (@me.com) email address to the Apple ID 2 and use that for iMessage as well as my Apple ID
When i change my icloud username to Match Apple ID 2, it doesnt wants me to create a new icloud email address.
How can I move my icloud email address linked to Apple ID1  to Apple ID 2?

I don't believe you can.  @me.com email addressses are permanently tied to the iCloud account that created them (in your example, ID1) and can't be moved.

  • Can i move a form to another account?

  • How can I move a folder to another catalog using LR 3

I have imported a large amount of folder into cat#1, but now i have decided to create cat#2. I have tried to move the "folders" and not "catalog" using the following workflow:
1- Opening cat #1, make selection of folder to be moved
2- Go to file and select "Export as a cat".
3- Opened cat #2, go to File and select "Import catalog"
4- Importing window shows the entire list of folders I had imported previously (lots of them). They all are checked. I can see the path, but only see the location of the folders, but I can't read the name of the files. I am able to see the total number on each folder
5- I have not even considering "synchronizing" the folder
Oh another thing, when I go to cat#1 and locate the folder I "exported as a catalog". The folder still shows on cat#1, but I don't see it on cat#2. I guess because I didn't complete the task.
I find it very tedious process trying to locate the file. And this is where I'm stuck
I have searched so many ways to find a workflow that would make sense, but I tend to get nothing but responses about how to move a "catalog". I have been thinking doing the following:
1- Remove the folder from cat#1
2- Open cat#2 and import the same folder, but this again seems to redundant, boring and a lot of clicking. Any suggestions.

Hm... Well, for everyone else the reply link is still on the website, and works fine soo....
Tell me about it. I went to catalog #2 and I didn't see the exported
catalog. Then I went back to catalog #1 and I still can see the entire
folder that I had selected to Export. I double checked it the process and it
seemed ok, but apparently there's something missing to complete the export
You seem under the impression that exporting as a catalog removes the images from the first catalog.  This is not true.  As I said earlier, it makes a copy for you.  So of course, when you go back into catalog1, all of your images/collections/etc, are still there.  As they should be.
So, you say you didn't see anything in your exported catalog?  Are  you sure you are opening the same catalog you just exported, or  have you opened a new blank one that you created, accidentally or not?  That would be my guess.
I think you should start over, and very carefully take it one step at a time.
Dj has suggested not using include negatives, and I can see where that might be useful.  However, if you do that, you will end up having images from two different catalogs in the same folder.  This will cause problems if you ever use the "sync folder" option, as it will attempt to load all images in that folder into your current catalog. Which means you could easilly end up with all your images in both catalogs.  Messy.   So to avoid this, use a new place instead.  You can also avoid having to do the "import to catalog" step by exporting the negatives at the same time.  Don't worry about exporting previews, though.
First, find a new place (external disk, whatever) to create a new catalog in.  Do _not_ create the new catalog your self!  Make sure you are sending everything to a new place!
Now, go into catalog1, and select all of the images you want to export.  They have to be selected, or nothing happens, and you'll just get a blank catalog.
Now, export as catalog those images into the new location, and make sure you are copying the negatives too!  Double check before you hit go!
Now, using LR, open that new catalog; you can either double click on the new one, or browse to open it.  Either way.  Verify that your images are in the new place and everything looks good.  You can see in the Folders tab on the left panel to make sure the images are in the right place in the new folder.
At this point, you should have 2 and a half catalogs;  your new catalog with only the images you exported, and the old catalog, with all of your images.
Now, you have a couple of choices.  But before you do either of them, make sure you backup your system, including all of the images in the original catalog.  If you've messed up making the new catalog (you should be able to tell!) then you want to make sure your original catalog can be restored.
Open your original catalog again, and now remove all of the images you exported.  You will need to use the "remove from disk" option, as they will stay in the folders if you don't.  This would cause the above problem with "sync folder", and of course, use double the disk space.
You can obviuosly see why I said to back everything up first;  if you messed up the export by not including the negatives, you could easilly delete your originals, and not have them _anywhere_, in which case  you would have to restore from back up and try again.
You now have two separate catalogs.
Remember, backup everything first, and good  luck!
    Cheers!

  • Can't move UCCX agent to another extension

I have a UCCX 7 system integrated with UCM 7.1.3.  I'm trying to move a UCCX agent from one extension to another extension.  Both of the phones are associated with the RM application user, and with the agent's end user entry.  I originally had the agent configured for extension 3606 and they were able to log into Cisco Agent Desktop.  I changed the IPCC extension value in their end user entry to extension 3607, and then had the agent try to log in at that station.  CAD gave the error that the extension was not associated with their userid.

what I need to check or uncheck to make it work.,  I am following a lesson plan in a "Infinite Skills" training course.  I talked to them, but was unable to come up with a answer.  Help, please I have been
trying to do this move for over a week.  tks  rdf

We don't know whether this tutorial was written for Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, more specifically for which version of PSE. There are differences. Be sure to have the layers palette open.
    Try this instead
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer.
To unlock the background layer, double click on it in the layers palette. Perhaps your tutorial will  guide you through the process.

  • Can't move one anchorpoint to another anchorpoint accurately anymore in Illustrator CC 2014. No problems in former versions. Any idea?

When I want to put an anchorpoint of one object on top of an anchorpoint of another object it jumps off the position I would like to put it. Other versions never had this issue! I need to work very accurately for my designs! Illustrator CC 2014 has this problem.
Snap to grid, smart guides, etc putting on or off, doesn't help...........
I pay monthly quite an amount of money for Illustrator. I don't want to waiste any working time on solving problems occuring after updating. I have no need of new features "to fluff up Illustrator" , I need an efficient programm to work with!
Sorry for being so annoyed, but las Friday I chatted with Illustrator helpdesk, which also cost me a few hours of my working time! I need to work...not to keep spending time on tutorials, solving new problems and finding things out! That is not what I pay for...sorry Adobe!

    jolieu,
In cases like this, the first guess is Align to Pixel Grid.
You may select everything and then untick Align to Pixel Grid in the Transform pallete, and also untick Align New Objects to Pixel Grid in the flyout options.
You may avoid document types with that as default (RGB for web and the like) or change the default for such documents.

That error indicates that the database is not mounted, so mounted and try again.
A workaround if you can't move the mailbox, is to rehome the mailbox to another database.

    Get-MailboxDatabase -Identity DBName | Set-MailboxDatabase -IsExcludedFromProvisioning
    $ False
Then i was able to move the mailboxes.
It now works fine. Thanks for that solution.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ronald
