Can't print a book out of aperture

Hello
I'm trying to print a 'book' out of aperture, and it's telling me it won't ship to my default address, yet
when i try to enter a new address, it tells me to try again later,
anyone else having a similar problem?
thanks!

Are the shipping address, the address used with your AppleID, and the address used with your Credit Card all in the same country? And is the Region in the System Preferences also set to the same country?
Aperture will use the print products store of the country you set in the System Preferences, and there your AppleID and credit card must be valid and the shipping address must be in that country.
When you enter the shipping address, check for any formatting errors; the Print Products store is very particular about the way the zip code is written.
Check the page for the Print Products Store of your country, for the US it is here:
      Apple Print Products - Apple Store (U.S.)
And for other countries look it up on this page:
The Apple Store - International Print Product
The problem may also be, that Aperture cannot contact the print products store and there is a time out. Make sure, that no fire wall (e.g. little snitch) or antivirus filter is interfering.

    Yes, you can export or print as PDF and have that printed out if you like - of course any interactivity will be negated.

  • Can you create a book from the Aperture free trial?

    I have created a book on the Aperture free trial and can't seem to buy it. Is there any way I can or can I not buy a book off of the Aperture free trial?

    The free trial is a fully functioning version of Aperture so you should be able to buy a book with it. What problems are you having?

  • How do I pass objects into EL so they can be printed with c:out ?

    Hi, I have an already made jsp and it contains data that is printed with <c:out>
    <c:out value="${model.biz.address.city}" />Now I would like to make changes to the page, but still use these object names. I'm pretty new to java, so I just assumed to make classes: a big class for model with basic fields; a secondary class for biz, containing name, description, etc in public fields; and an address class, which holds the city, state, etc variables.
    I have tomcat/jstl. On the server, there is all this database code and etc that will provide the information, but as for me, I would like to make a simple page, that will have just one model with all the information filled in, so that, I can use the ${model.biz.address.city} or ${model.biz.name} or whatever information objects I've provided.
    I can access my classes with <% out.println(model.biz.name) %>, but I can't access it with EL. How can I do it?
    I mind you there is nested information: model has model.biz & model.user; biz has biz.name, biz.phone, biz.email, and biz.address; biz.address has address.address1, address.address2, and address.city, etc.
    ANY help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Geez .. Your class doesn't fulfill the javabean specifications. The properties should not be public.
    It should rather look likepublic class TheAddress {
        // Properties ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        private String address1;
        private String address2;
        // Constructors -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        public TheAddress() {
            // Default constructor.
        public TheAddress(String address1, String address2) {
            // Full constructor.
            this.address1 = address1;
            this.address2 = address2;
        // Getters ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        public String getAddress1() {
            return address1;
        public String getAddress2() {
            return address2;
        // Setters ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        public void setAddress1(String address1) {
            this.address1 = address1;
        public void setAddress2(String address2) {
            this.address2 = address2;
    }

  • Where can I find additional book themes for Aperture?

    I've made a few books with Aperture, which I've enjoyed and which turned out very well.  However, I'd like to find more book themes.  (A current need is a theme that is better suited for an actual travel journal with more text.)  I've spent a couple of hours on Google and poring over the Apple sites related to Aperture, to no avail.  I'm sure =someone= offers new themes, free or not.  Thanks in advance for any assistance!!

    I don't know of any themes, but there are photobook plug-ins for Aperture. These will create books for third-party print services:
    http://www.apple.com/aperture/resources/third-party-books.html
    If you want to print using Apple's print services, try to modify the available themes by saving custom master pages.

  • How can I get my originals out of aperture?

    Aperture isn't working for me anymore (continuous "database inconsistencies" and other inexplicable crashes that cannot be repaired), so I'd like to switch back to Photoshop. How do I get my thousands of original images out of the library? Do I have to export masters? Thanks, Z

    Even if I have no problem with Aperture, I never, ever put my data in a database form if I have a choice. Even the best database can get corrupted.
    I create folders, put my pictures in them and then import them at their location, AP does that perfectly. So, in a worst case scenario, I lose nothing. Using Aperture vault's system does help, but for me it's unnecessary, since my pictures aren't stock in AP's database.
    It is useful to if you want to switch software. I know, I did when I ditched both Windows and LightRoom for Mac and Aperture. Who tells me I won't change again in 5-10 years? I don't know. So I keep my files in a "human accessible" way, just in case, and not just for photography.
    As I'm sure you know, Aperture never puts your pictures in a database, whether you let Aperture manage your files or if you do, via referenced files. Only metadata and such things as the pictures' location are in Aperture's actual database.
    If Aperture manages your files, it puts the files themselves into a somewhat complex folder structure within the Aperture Library package. You can always go look at that by right clicking on the Aperture Library file and picking Show Package Contents and then browsing away.
    To get at the files themselves, its easiest to export the masters from Aperture, or you can "relocate" them into referenced folders. They're never "locked up" or "stuck."

  • Can I print a book that I bought ?

    I bought a Recdipe book on archambault.ca... It was a gift for my father... But I have to print it to give him the book. Is it possible ?

    It depends on book permissions.
    If enabled, you can go to menu item File -> Print.

  • How do I create an application that can be printed AND filled out online via my website?

    Is InDesign the best program to do this in?

    Webform with HTML would be best.
    But depends on a lot of things...
    InDesign is not a web authoring program.
    But it can produce fillable forms ... which are PDF.
    So if you want it on your site - a webform is best.
    If you want it as link they fill out and submit then InDesign.

    How do I delete a book of my download queue? I already downloaded one copy. I don't want to be charged for another copy.

    I THINK I have solved the problem. Can't be 100% because I don't want to try a restore. At least the Apple home page lites up correctly with quicktime now. It hadn't in the past.

  • Why can't I print a book with iphoto 09?

    I have a book under "keepsakes" that it says (0) next to the name of the album. But when I open it up you can see the pictures in there. I can't print the book though when I'm ready to input the number of copies that part is in gray and it won't let me choose one. I tried with another album and it doesn't work either.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Paulina,
    Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, however you may have better luck posting in the iPhoto forum, click the link and it will take your there. Then repost, that forum is where the iPhoto guru's hang out if you can't get help on this forum.

  • Color for Aperture online printing and books

    Anyone know what color profile in Aperture we need to choose for having photos printed or books made from Aperture's online services?

    Books are printed using the Kodak NexPress which does use icc color profiles. In fact when you qualify a grade of paper you can either generate a "universal" profile (for a grade of paper) which will work (but not great) with different coated papers. Then their is a "Custom" icc profile they generate. A custom profile will work only with the paper that has been qualified. That is the best profile which will give the best results.
    If they wanted (Apple) they could provide the profile as one has been generated and to my knowledge they use the same paper all the time for books. It is my understanding they may use several commercial printers all who use the Kodak NexPress for all their products. Personally I think the HP Indigo does a slightly better job but there are issues with that technology as well!!

  • Can I print/publish/sell my book if I buy an Adobe license for Helvetica?

    Hello,
    I'm wanting to self-publish a print book using the Helvetica™ Neue Std Ultra Light font which I can purchase the license for its use from the Adobe store. I'm just learning about licenses and commercial use, trying to get my head around it all. So, if I buy the license for this font through Adobe, does that mean I can publish/print my book and sell these books?
    From what I can gather, all Adobe fonts whether those that come with the bundle or those that a license is bought for through the store, are allowed to be used for commercial use. Correct me if I'm wrong. It seems that this is all good for web and video stuff but I just wanted to see if it was okay for the printing and selling of novels? I'm being pedantic but just want to be really explicit about these details so I don't have to worry about this legal stuff later.
    Also, if this is the case, then does that mean I can use any font that already comes with adobe in a book and sell the book? E.g. Segoe print, arial unicode ms, freestyle script, etc. All of them, really. Specifically, I'm using InDesign to create my books and want to use the fonts it comes with to save money if that's possible.
    Any hep would be great!
    Thanks heaps.

    Oh, cool. Thanks for that - very helpful.
    Okay, so was wondering if you could take a look at this:
    "Embedding Font Software and Representations of Typeface and Typographic Designs and Ornaments. You may embed the Font Software only into an electronic document that is not a Commercial Product, (ii) is distributed in a secure format that does not permit the extraction of the embedded Font Software, and (iii) in the case where a recipient of an electronic document is able to Use the Font Software for editing, only if the recipient of such document is within your Licensed Unit.
    You may embed static graphic images into an electronic document, including a Commercial Product, (for example, a “gif”) with a representation of a typeface and typographic design or ornament created with the Font Software as long as such images are not used as a replacement for Font Software, i.e. as long as the representations do not correspond to individual glyphs of the Font Software and may not be individually addressed by the document to render such designs and ornaments."
    It's the only part in the EULA where it refers to commercial use so I'm hoping I'm looking in the right place. The language used doesn't help me all that much since I get confused not knowing if it means the actual software and/or the font itself printed on a page.
    From the above, does it look like I can safely print and sell books if I agreed to the terms in this license and bought it? Or do I need more info before making a call?
    Thanks heaps.

  • How can I print out a small size address book in Leopard?

    How can I print out my address book in Leopard, preferably in pocket size and preferably
    without each card having a separate page?

    First off, you've posted in the Tiger forum, even though your profile says you're running Snow Leopard. Even worse, you're asking about Leopard. You need to be sure you post your questions in the corrrect forum.
    As for the question itself, all you have to do is select the Group you want to print in Address Book, choose Print, select 'Pocket Address Book' from the pop-up Style menu, check the attributes you want included for each contact, and the paper size you want to use and Print.
