Can't print - gstoraster stopped with status 13

Title pretty much says it all. I have a Lexmark 2600 printer that won't work. This is what I got from the /var/log/cups/error_log:

I am using Cups 1.6.2, kernel 3.5.3, KDE 4.9 (if it makes any difference). I tried downloading the Lexmark drivers from the web, no joy. In fact, after being prompted to plug in the printer to the computer, the driver installation seems to freeze (it does not respond to me connecting the printer via USB).
I also tried adding through Cups web interface, same thing. The "state" says "stopped: filter failed".
Any help?

we finally have updated our G5s, 2x2GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB system disk. Since then we are unable to print documents from CS3 + CS4 which result in cups print files > 1 Gb. We have tested a catalog file with 150 pages which didn´t print. If you broke it up into 6 pieces (print page 1-25, 26-50...) it did work. Unfortunally we have jobs with single pages exceeding this limit. All together we have tested around 10 differend files.
We have tried to reset the printer queue, installed the drivers and deleted and created all printers, but nothing helps. Looks like cups or one of it´s helper can´t handle files larger than 1 GB?
Any help is welcome.

IDOC stops with status 30

We have migrated from SAP 4.7 to ECC6 , the Xi is on version 2.0 .
After migration some of our IDOC created from ABAP Proxy are not getting processed automatically. It stops with status 30 and we need to reporcess this . After reporocess the messages are getting processed
Can anyone help in finding out how to find this error

Hi,
The status 30 of IDOC, status text u201EIDOC is ready for dispatching (ALE service)". Internally, the constant ALE_READY_FOR_DISPATCHING represents this status.
Processing Selected Intermediate Documents -->
Use program RSEOUT00 to start processing all selected intermediate documents.
You need to check your ALE settings for that error. test the proxy mannualy using payload.
Then you will come to know wheather your proxy works fine or not.
Go to SPROXY --> Select Your SERVICE INTERFACE --> clikc on TEST button or Press F8 --> provide your payload and check the result.

As Wayne wrote, you may print the document with the list of formulas but sometimes I use an other scheme.
(a) duplicate the document
(b) select the entire table(s)
(c) apply the format 'Text'
(d) ajust cells size to display the entire formulas

How can I print a JTable with varying sized rows?
I am using java 1.5, and have made a cell renderer to display multiple lines in rows and it works well, however when I use the new print method it doesn't separate the cells onto the next page, it cuts them and will print the rest of the row on the next page. Does anyone know how I might go about making this happen?

I finally found out the reason, The column heights were being set through my renderer. If I hadn't viewed them in the scrollpane the row heights were set to the default height of 16 therefore when the print method was called it clipped all the rows wrong, what is weird though is that the row height printed out correctly but the clipping area was set wrong because it was getting the default value of 16 from rowHeight(row).

I understand that since upgrading your Mac OS X 10.10 computer to Mac OS X 10.10.4 you have been unable to print colour photos wirelessly from your HP Officejet 5740 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this colour printing issue. To be honest, it does sound like Mac may have loaded the generic Apple Airprint driver on your printer rather then the HP Full Feature Software and Driver package. Should this be the case then you will only have basic print capabilities. Please follow the steps below to confirm that your HP Officejet is utilising the correct driver on your Mac.
1. Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences. 2. Click Print & Scan, and then check if the name of your printer displays in the Printers list. 3. Click the name of your printer, click the minus sign (), and then delete the printer.  4. Click the plus sign (), click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, 5. Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select the name of your printer in the pop-up menu. Ensure that the Officejet driver is selected and not the Airprint driver.

Can't print to pdf with Acrobat 7.1.0 in Vista

I am unable to print to pdf with Acrobat 7.1.0 in Windows Vista. I used to be able to, now all of a sudden that functionality is gone. I haven't knowingly done any upgrades since the last time I successfully printed to pdf, but I do have autoupdates enabled, so I can't say what Microsoft may have been up to recently. When printing to pdf from Internet Explorer 7, the window simply closes. A printer icon shows up in the system tray but registers 0 print jobs and soon disappears. When printing to pdf from Word (2003), Word crashes with a series of message boxes saying something about attempting recovery. Any suggestions?

Thanks for asking that question, as this is one thing that I have disabled on computers running XP, since disabling it in XP doesn't adversely affect my limited use of Acrobat in any way. I have not disabled it with Vista. I tried printing to file, and that also caused the window to close. I happened to have a second IE7 window open when attempting to print to file, and it did not close, so it only affects the active window. I don't know if that helps at all; when a program crashes, I typically observe it take with it all open windows associated with that program, so the fact that this is only closing the active window seems potentially useful to me in my ignorance of what is the root cause.

JIMI 1.0 causes JVM to stop with status 129 under Linux

I'm using JIMI 1.0 for manipulating JPEG-images in my web-application. Each time the servlet is performing this manipulation, the JVM stopps with status 129 (this is, what the bash is telling me) after a few seconds.
The image itself seems to be ok, cause the Browser is able to display the response of the servlet. The response itself is written into a ServletOutputStream.
Sending a JPEG without manipulation works well.
First the JVM was missing the symbol-font:
"Font specified in font.properties not found [--symbol-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific]"
I installed a symbol.ttf from the internet and thought, this will solve the problem - but not! Only this message didn't appear any longer, but the JVM still stopps.

It seems to be just DNS, but I can't be sure - no time to test this on a production system. Pings to internet IP's work.
For instance, manually setting 8.8.8.8 DNS on a machine behind the NAT doesn't work, but ping 8.8.8.8 works fine.
Version seems to be one of the older mainline 12.4 releases.

I wonder if doing a no ip flow ingress on WAN interface has any adverse effects. Been testing it for a day, found none yet.

I am replicating campaigns from CRM to PS. Now as I release the campaign BDOC is triggered and goes to backend ECC system. But after replication BDOC comes and stops in inbound queue of CRM with status ready. When I goto SMQ2 and unlock it, it flows through.
This problem I am facing for all campaigns transfered not for any specific one.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

Hi,
This happens because the Queues are not registered.
In SMQ2, note the first 3 cahracters of the queue, e.g, R3A or CSA.
Now goto SMQR and see if any Queue exists with this name like R3A* or CSA*.
If it does, then select the Queue and press button Registration.
If it does not, tehn create a new entry by pressing the same registration button and entering the following value:
Queue name     CSA*
EXEMODE     D
MAXTIME                     60
USERDEST
NRETRY                     30
TDELAY                     300
Doing this is sufficient for your Queue to get executed automatically.

First, AirPrint is not something you buy. It's built into iOS.
Second, John asked if you could print from an iPad with a cable:

Third, in your reply to me, you said "you can" which would imply that one can print from an iPad via a cable, which again cannot be done.

Can't print web sites with the epson printer just installed. It wants to print with the old HP printer

I just installed a new printer, an Epson Stylus NX 420. The old printer is A HP photosmart 4580. I can not print with the new printer. If I want to print an e-mail it keep referring to the old printer.Same thing with an article of the web. I am able to print when I use the internet explorer browser.Please tell me what to do to make this work. Thanks

Tech guy is probably correct. We don't usually see reports about trouble with Epson printers, but ID is not the best behaved application when it comes to printing. The usual workaround is to export to PDF and print that instead.

How can I print web pages with HP psc 2175 printer?

Hi,
I'm having difficulty printing web pages with my HP psc 2175 printer. The printer spits out many pages before the actual page I want printed and then at times it doesn't print all of the section desired.
In fact, when I copied one page the other day, saved it as a pdf file to my computer, opened the file and the document still would not print.
Anyone have any idea what could be happening?

I have a strange issue - I am also using HP Envy 100 410A and its prints fine from iPad2. But when I try to print from my Gen 1 iPad, it goes thru the motions (shows the printer, allows to select which pages to print, double sided print etc.) but the printing actually doesn't hapen.
Any suggestions?
