Can't see menu in IDVD 7 with Ilife 08

I installed Ilife 08 today for the new DVD themes...I can't see any of the themes, just a black screen.
I purchased my expensive mac last year...it would be nice if I can find a way to figure this out. I bought Ilife just for the new themes...and now none of them work. Thanks in advance if you can help me to be able to see the themes.

I had the same problem. There is an update for all the iLife applications. Do a software update and after that you should be okay. That fixed my problem. It didn't require it, but I would restart your mac after the update.

What you see is what is available.
Turning the iPhone into landscape mode with Month, Day, or List view selected provides the closest thing to seeing an entire week.

Can't see menu bar on external display

I just attached my MacBook running 10.6.2 an lcd flat screen hd tv. Everything is fine other than I can't see the menu bar. I've changed to every resolution available, but the menubar is never visible. It's there, because if I use my (wireless) mouse and put it off the top of the screen and click, I can get menus to open.
Has anyone run into this problem and have you found a solution?

Right, your TV is overscanning. That's very common. Overscan has been part of what TVs have done for decades.
If your TV is meant to be compatible with computer output, there should be a way to set the screen size using the TV's remote and/or menu system so that computer output just fills the screen. So check you TV's user manual about making a connection to a PC for information about how to get rid of overscan on the TV.

Can't see Menu Bar in Windows 8

Please help... I'm new to Windows 8. I have the latest version of Skype. But I can't see any Menu Bar. All I can see is Home (at the top), Add Number & Save Number (at the bottom).
I have done a restart since I installed it, which I assume is the same as logging out and back in again. I have merged my skype and hotmail and want to merge my facebook contacts too, but without the Menu Bar I havent got any "Options"....

I create two view object.In the first page I create table with one view object.

In this code I only postchanges() in first view and dont want to commit.
But I cant see changes row in the page .If I press save I see transaction completed succesfully message.
But in database not insertted any rows.
If I write commit() after postchanges() code I see rows in the table .But I dont want to commit.Only post

You should NEVER use statements like this in managed beans:
ApplicationModule empSvc = Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(AM, CF);
This will create a separate application module instance, not shared by the the web pages. That's why you do not see the changes.
Instead, you can use the following code:
ApplicationModule am = (ApplicationModule)JsfUtils.getExpressionValue("#{data.MyAppModuleDataControl.dataProvider}");
where MyAppModuleDataControl shoud be replaced with the name of your am data control.

hi everybody, i'm a newer with MacOS, i've buy a MacBook Pro last Friday on Bogotá - Colombia, last nigth i plugged an external hard disk drive with many folders including a folder called: "Microsoft Office 2011 Español", when i explorer the hard disk i can't see this folder, i rename this folder on my pc on windows 7 and remove the word "Español" after that i was able to see the folder
i think that it is a configuration of OS, so can anybody help me to fix this problem?

HOW CAN I SEE THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE WITH FINDER?

I need an help. How can I see everything in my hdd, the exact content of it, using Finder and not an 'easy view'? For example, in the hdd root there are folders like 'tmp', 'var', 'usr' and so on but I can't see them from Finder just using the command prompt. How can I do?

Open the AppleScript Editor in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run the following:

This script will not allow you to access anything which is set not to be readable by your user account. The /dev/ folder on the startup disk is hardcoded to be hidden to the GUI and cannot be revealed in the Finder by this or any other method. To turn it off, replace the 1 with a 0.

Can't See Fields or Views with Oracle Connection

We have a report that connected to Oracle. Previously, we were able to see the tables and views and connected some of them in our report. However, now we can't see those tables or views. We can see the fields under them but not the tables or views they belong to. Is there anything we can change to fix this?

please check in Options --> Database Tab --> Tables,Views,Stored procedures are checked .
If you are using Odbc connection some times it may happen. Try with oledb connection

Can't see the Supply Levels with Canon PIXMA ip4200

Have tried downloading the latest drivers from Canon and used various other drivers but can't see the Supply Levels. Was OK with my Windows machine, but have now seen the light and use an iMac.
I am also having some issues when trying to print borderless with iPhoto, and think these problems may be related.
Any suggestions?

In testing iPhoto, I can see what you are getting. With the photo size at 4 x 6 you only get two photos per A4 sheet, even full bleed.
Thinking about this, I wonder how the Windows application would have been fitting four to a page. A4 is 210mm x 297mm. A 4 x 6 inch photo is 101.6mm x 152.4mm. With the longer edge of 152 mounted inside the 210mm, there's roughly 50mm left. And in the vertical the photos use 203mm leaving 94mm. Not much room for another photo, let alone two more.
Doing the maths, four photos without borders would require a surface area of 203.2mm x 304.8mm. So there would have to be some image loss, or size reduction, even on a full bleed A4 print.
If you want four to a page, then the 3 x 5 print size will do this. But if you want 4 x 6 inch prints, then the default settings in iPhoto are not going to let you do it. And I can't find a way to override these default settings. Maybe there is another application that will let you do what you want.

Can't see Users after binding with Active Directory

I have a clean install of Mountain Lion Server and I have bound it with Windows 2003 Servers Active Directory. All is working, but I can't see the Ad users in Server app so that I can't edit it.
I can see it only over Directory Utility.
Can anybody help me that I can see the AD Users in Server app so that I can edit it.
And knows anybody how to change the AD users home folder so that I can have it on my Mountain Lion server?

Please try to make sure that you enable the 5 Ghz network on your router. Did you create a different wireless network name for the 5 Ghz on your router? Did you try to set the Network Mode to Wireless A only? Did you try setting up different wireless channels on the 5 Ghz? These are the probable causes and workarounds for your concern. It would be best to have the latest firmware on your router as well.
