Can't see read messages in my inbox even though filter is not on.

I can only see unread email messages in my inbox even though the quick filter IS NOT set to unread. When I read an unread message it is then unhighlighted, but when I close Thunderbird and go back in, only the unread messages show up and the read message disappears. This is not an issue in any other folder other than the Inbox.

Thanks, it was View->Threads->All. I don't know how this was changed but I'm sure it was a problem between the keyboard and chair.

You may be subscribed in the larger category. I'm sure you have checked the "my subscriptions" to the right in this discussion forum. I'm new to this forum and just getting used to it, so I'm not sure if this will help. You would see a "binoculars" avatar next to your subscribed topics. Plus, in the "my subscriptions" page, check the two top choices. You may have "yes" checked for topics that you create AND for topics that you respond to. This will create susbscriptions of which you may not be aware. Again, just some ideas. I"m a "newbie." BF

Can't see any songs/etc on Nano even though iTunes says it has!

Hi,
I had a problem with my nano today so I followed the instructions on this website for troubleshooting and restored my nano back to factory settings, reinstalled the latest copy of iTunes and then copied songs back onto my nano.
Now whenever I connect my nano, it keeps asking me to register it (which I've already done). Then when I click on Finish, it then automatically 'updates' and according to iTunes it says that it has loads of tunes on it. As soon as I disconnect however, I can't see any songs, playlists etc on my nano.
Another thing is that before disconnecting I tried to change the update setting to manual. After disconnecting and reconnecting however, it's somehow changed it back to automatic.
What's wrong? Can anyone help me please?

Put it into disk mode first:

Then change the drive letter as in the last article.
Once you've done that, eject the iPod and reset it.

Then you can reconnect it, and you should be able to take care of it in iTunes. You just might have to restore it once more, once you get the drive letter changed.

When I try to download firefox 4 I get message to close firefox even though it is not open.

When I try to download Firefox 4.0. I get a message to "close Firefox then continue," even though it is already closed.

Its probable still running in the background. Hold Ctrl, Alt and Del, then when task managers pops up, go to the process tab, look for firefox.exe, select it then press end process bottom right.

When I try to install latest update it tells me it can't do so because Firefox is open, even though it's not - any suggestions?

When i try and install the latest update via the Wizard I get as far as setup type when it tells me that Firefox must be closed to proceed with installation - even though that window is the only thing open on the PC. I've never had any issues with installing updates before, any ideas?

Yes.. just sign-in same account in your Apple devices and make sure sync your contacts in icloud and you can see all contacts that you made backup..

How can I stop Preview from opening at startup even though it is not listed in my Login Items?

When I log into one of my user accounts in my MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion), Preview is always open. The preview window itself is not open but the application name is active in the menu bar in the top left hand corner. The Preview item on the taskbar is also lit. Both of these indicate to me that Preview is running. However, I checked my Login Items repeatedly and Preview is not even listed. I also make sure that when logging out, the "Reopen windows when logging out" is unchecked. But Preview still always opens whenever I log into this particular user account -- it does not do it in any of my other user accounts. How can I fix this?

Thanks. I got to the bottom of it by checking Login Items. I had Flux, iTunes Helper, and Dropbox. I removed the first two from Login Items, leaving only Dropbox. However, when I rebooted and logged in, Preview was still open and Flux and iTunes Helper were back in the Login Items. To find out which application is the culprit, I looked under Flux's Preferences settings and disabled it from opening at login. I was intending to do it for every application until I find the culprit, but doing so to Flux solved the problem.

What will make it so you can't move objects by click and drag even though they are not locked?

I have been using the cc 2014 version for awhile now and this morning when I select an object with the selection tool, I can't freely move it by click and drag. The object will move with the arrow keys and can be aligned with the alignment tools.

Does it have a fill of None? Maybe you're trying to select the object on its "fill" but if there's no fill, it does not get selected.

Can I get my iphone 5 screen fixed even though it's not underwarranty?

You need to get your phone evaluated at an Apple Retail Store and they will then see if it is eligible to be replaced or wether it is beyond economical repair.

P.O appearing in user's approval inbox even though he is not an approver

Hi All,
We are on SRM5.0 SP10 and Extended Classic scenario.
We are using N-Step Approval BADI for determining approvers and triggering approval work flow.
In our case the logic is written in such a way that the purchase order should go for approval to all the persons of the purchasing group who are having the required Approval limit other than the creator of the purchase order.
In the Approval preview it is showing the correct list of approvers (all in the same purchasing group) but the purchase order is also appearing the Approval inbox of another user (purchaser) who belongs to different purchasing group.
We cross checked the logic and the function modules used in BADI to determine the list of approvers and everything looks to be fine.
I have cross checked the org. assignments and BP changes and everything seems fine.
Please let me know where else things may go wrong and any thoughts on how to resolve this issue.

Read messages still in inbox????

Just bought an imac - very happy EXCEPT - my Mail which I've ported across from AOL.
Unlike very other mail system I've come across all messages STAY in the inbox after reading until I manually drag them to a saved folder or of course delete them.
I've looked in rules to see if I could create something that would move them that way but can't see anythign that would apply.
Anyway, am I missing somethng here? I'm going to stop using mail if it can't do something as BASIC as this!

Normally, if you did nothing special, read messages stay in inbox, The only message is read signal is sent back to the mail server to mark it read on its side side too (unless you said contrary). If you did nothing on your Mac then check your mail app on the web. It might be that the message move to folder is done on server side.

The same is happening for me. Today I decided to reboot my PC because it was acting up a bit, go figure, and then for some reason at the same time the PC was restarting my macbook froze. I had to do a reboot with the restart button but then all that came up was a gray background and in the middle of the screen was a darker gray folder with a white question mark in the middle of it, blinking. I can't imagine why the restart would've affected my macbook. After finding information on how to fix this, I tried all of the steps that were given about using the mac OS X disk to use the first aid utility to fix it. When using the Disk Utility option whenever I select my hardrive and am in the First Aid tab, the only button I can use is the Verify Disk Permissions. The other three buttons, and namely the most important Repair Disk button, is/are not selectable (grayed out). I then tried resetting the PRAM the way they also said with the command + option + P + R and waited for the second startup sound. After that I gave the Disk Utility a second try, but still nothing. And now if I try to just reinstall the OS completely I can't even select a destination volume on the third step (Select Destination). Apparently this means i'm SOL.

Depending on your carrier, you may be able to see recent calls by logging into your account on the carrier's web site, if they offer such a feature, though incoming calls being shown is not usual. There will, as diesel said, be no way to see messages already received, either SMS/MMS or iMessages, without having the phone.

I can't see a message from my union because of problems with changed adress for pop-upwindows and some other issue

I'm from Sweden and I'm having problems with a website my union has. I have been able to see messages from them before but they've changed their adress and on the site they tell people they have to put the new adress on the approved list for pop-up windows. I have done so but it's still not working. Maybe I've done it wrong, I don't know but it's annoying as hell that I can't see the messages they send.
I really need help with this.

When i open my messages it just goes off I can't see any messages at all I tried resetting my phone didn't work

I don't know why I can't see any messages at all its just blank then goes back to home screen I tried resetting

Close out out of the message app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
then do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
