Can't Transfer Mailboxes?

Hi All,
I'm trying to transfer mailboxes from a Small Business Server 2011 with Exchange 2010, to a 2012 R2 server with Exchange 2013. These mailboxes already have a move-request associated with them, so upon trying to remove them with the "Remove-MoveRequest
-Identity "[email protected]"" I get the error "Couldn't find system mailbox 'e257419b-0971-4691-b91f-b05423bf3ab2' in Active Directory.
I've heard that you can restore system mailboxes by running .\setup PrepareAD which worked perfectly fine with other mailboxes, but I'm unable to recover this one. I literally just need to recover this mailbox so I can remove these move requests and get
these mailboxes moved over onto a healthy server.
Does anybody know the best way of going about getting this back? I could do an AD Restore of the Small Business Server but I would rather not do that if I have to...

I ran those commands, and I didn't see any mailboxes using that ExchangeGuid, here are the ones that were outputted to text:

  • How can I transfer all my mail and mail boxes to another computer using the same Mac OS 10.7.5?

I have 2 computers with the same OS 10.7.5. How can I transfer all my Mail & Mail boxes from one to the other?

    Hello Gene,
It sounds like you would like to transfer your mail and mailboxes from one computer to another.  I recommend exporting the mailboxes from one Mac and then importing them to the destination Mac.  You can find steps in the following articles:

  • How to transfer mailboxes between different feline species

I use two iMacs: the main one at home, and a secondary one in my office.  When they both used to run Leopard (10.5.8), I was able to transfer mailboxes from my main iMac to my secondary iMac, so that my secondary iMac had all the email messages that I received on the main iMac.  I copied Mail folder in Library from the main iMac, and copied it to the same location in the secondary iMac.  When I started Mail on the secondary iMac, all the messages that I received on my main iMac were there.
Now I upgraded my main iMac to the latest model, running Mountain Lion (10.8.5).  I found the "hidden" Mail folder, by using "Go to the folder:  ~/Library/Mail/V2/".  But when I copy the Mailboxes folder from this location, and copy it to the Mail folder in the secondary iMac (still running Leopard), replacing the "Mailboxes" folder inside it, none of the email messages that I received since I switched to Mountain Lion (and Mail v6) shows up, only messages that I received when I was still on Leopard (and using Mail 3.x).
My question is:  How can I resume what I used to do, and transfer mailboxes from Mail on Mountain Lion to Mail on Leopard?  (Before you ask, no, I don't want to upgrade my secondary iMac to Mountain Lion, because that would be too cumbersome and costly on an old machine.)  I just need to know how I can transfer messages that I receive on Mountain Lion Mail to Leopard Mail.  Thanks.

Okay, I have now properly exported the mailbox on my Mountain Lion iMac, transferred the exported mailbox to the Leopard iMac, and properly imported the mailbox, all within the respective Mail application.  The export appears to have gone smoothly, judging by the size of the mailbox.  And the importing procedure also went through all the right motions, but when I open the imported mailbox, it's completely empty.  It doesn't even contain the messages that I received before the switchover, as happens when I copy the mailboxes folder and transfer it to the old iMac.  So, either way, it doesn't work, but properly exporting and importing mailboxes appear to be worse.

  • How can i transfer my music from one account to another on a different computer?

So i have an itunes account on dell laptop and i share that account with other famliy members. I recently bought a mac pro and wanted to create a new account that way i can use icloud, is there any possible way to transfer everything from my old library to my new one or will i lose everything i had on my phone and ipods? Or is it possible to have one account but multiple icloud accounts?

    Lisa,
Just get copies of the song files and add them to your iTunes library.  With the exception of any DRM-protected files (purchased before mid-2009 and never upgraded) they will play fine, even though they are technically associated with the original account.

    Welcome to the forum.
I can think of three basic ways to accomplish what you wish to do:
Use the Project Archiver to archive your Project (and check the box to gather the media files), to an external HDD. Probably the easiest way to do it.
Copy the Project and ALL media files to an external HDD, but be prepared to relink the media files to the Project, as the drive letter (part of the Absolute Path) will have changed.
Edit loosely, and Share to an AV file, which will be Imported into a New Project on that second computer. Or, edit VERY tightly, and do the same. I like the first, as removing, replacing Transitions, etc., can be much more difficult, unless that "tight edit" is 100% done.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

how can I transfer information from one ipad to another ?

What kind of information? You can sync things like Contacts and Calendars by using iCloud. You can backup one iPad to iTunes on a computer and then sync the backup to the other iPad. You can configure your iTunes content and sync the same content to both iPads.
It is based on what you want to do. Or are you looking for a way to send files from one iPad to another wirelessly? There are apps to do things like that, as well as cloud services, such as DropBox.

One way would be to e-mail them from yourself to yourself. That would totally avoid the different ID issue.

now i had bought apps with my old account. but when i sync them into my phone i cant update them using my account, i need the old itunes i had. How can i transfer all bought apps onto my new account?

    You can't.
All 3rd party apps - all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account used to purchase/download the apps. DRM cannot be transferred from one account to another.
Why did you get a new iTunes account? Changing your email address alone does not require doing so.

No. You can only do it via iTunes or by:

Can i transfer everything from one ipad to another so both have exactly the same things?

Yes. Copy your apps and other iTunes purchases/downloads to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you have iTunes 11 on your computer), then backup up the first iPad and restore that backup onto the second iPad.
    Backups and restores : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4079
Things that aren't included in a backup include the contents of the Music and Videos apps (but they should be on your computer's iTunes) and photos that were synced from a computer. Also you will need to enter your passwords (email, wifi, website) on the second iPad - they won't be restored onto a different device, only back onto the device that the backup came from.

All your media should be in your iTunes library. Then you can place it on any device you wish. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
