Can't view my Cube and Dimension Data with the Cube Viewer

I'm new in using OWB, i'm using Oracle 10g release1 with OWB R2 also Oracle WorkFlow 2.6.3.
When studying with the steps from the OTN pages (start01, flat-file02, relational-wh-03, etl-mappings, deployingobjects, loading-warehouse and bi-modeling)
the loading was success, i guess...
But when I want to see the data in the cube and dimension, an error occurs.
It says

Can somebody explain what is happening, I really don't understand, when the cube viewer window appears, there's no data in it....

How can I do to acquire and save date in the same time and in the same file when I run continual my VI without interruption.

I've attached a VI that I am using to acquire amplitude from Spectrum analyzerse. I tried to connect amplitude ouput to the VI Write Characters To File.vi and Write to Spreadsheet File.vi. Unfortunately when I run continual this VI without interruption, labview ask me many time to enter a new file name to save a new value.
So, How can I do to aquire and save date in the same time and in the same file when I run continual my VI for example during 10 min.

Your VI does work perfectly. Unfortunately this not what I want to do. I've made error in my last comment. I am so sorry for this.
So I explain to you again what I want to do exactly. I want to acquire amplitude along road by my vehicle. I want to use wheel signal coming from vehicle to measure distance along road. Then I acquire 1 amplitude each 60 inches from spectrum analyzer.
I acquire from PC parallel port a coded wheel signal coming from vehicle (each period of the signal corresponds to 12 Inches). Figure attached shows the numeric signal coming from vehicle, and the corresponding values “120” and “88” that I can read from In Port vi.
So I want to acquire 1 time amplitude from spectrum analyser each 5
period of the signal that I am acquiring from parallel port.
So fist I have to find how can I count the number of period from reading the values “120” and “88” that I am acquiring from In Port (I don’t know the way to count a number of period from reading values “120” and “88”).
Here is a new algorithm.
1) i=0 (counter: number of period)
2) I read value from In Port
3) If I acquire a period
i= i+1 (another period)
4) If i is multiple of 5 (If I read 5 period)
acquire 1 time amplitude and write to the same
file this amplitude and the corresponding distance
Distance = 12*i). Remember each period of signal
Corresponds to 12 Inches).i has to take these
values: 5,10,15,20,25,35,40,45,50,55,60............
5) Back to 2 if not stop.

No - you can share the same iTunes account (my wife and I share the same account). But when you sync the iPads, just remember to select the correct content for her iPad and the correct content for your iPad.

Look up two ODS and load data to the cube

Hi ,
I am trying to load data to the Billing Item Cube.The cube contains some fileds which are loaded from the Billing Item ODS which is loaded from 2LIS_13_VDITM directly from the datasource, and there are some fields which needs to be looked up in the Service Order ODS and some fields in the Service Orders Operations ODS.I have written a Start Routine in the Cube update rules.Using the select statement from both the ODS i am fetching the required fields from the both ODS and i am loading them to the internal tables and in the Update rules i am writing the Update routine for the fields using Read statement.
I am getting an error when it is reading the second select statement(from second ODS).
The error message is
You wanted to add an entry to table
"\PROGRAM=GPAZ1GI2DIUZLBD1DKBSTKG94I3\DATA=V_ZCSOD0100[]", which you declared
with a UNIQUE KEY. However, there was already an entry with the
same key.
The error message says that there is an Unique Key in the select statement which is already an entry.
Can any one please help me in providing the solution for this requirement.I would appreciate your help if any one can send me the code if they have written.

If you are using iCloud on iPhone and Mac, that must be already done. If not, you have to setup iCloud on both devices with the same Apple ID.
Before you try anything, download an app like "Contacts kit" or "My Contacts Backup" to your iPhone and make a backup of your list and send it via email to yourself.

Make sure "Recording Delay" is set to zero.

If we have a specific server say 10.10.10.10 (abc.co.in) on which we are working, Then under RZ12 we make the following entry as :
LOGON GROUP          INSTANCE
parallel_generators        abc.co.in_10         ( Lets assume : The instance number is 10 )
Now in SM59 under ABAP Connections , I am giving the following technical settings:
TARGET HOST          abc.co.in
IP address                  10.10.10.10
Instance number          10
Now if we have a scenario of load balancing servers with following server details (with all servers on different instance numbers ) :
10.10.10.11
10.10.10.13
10.1010.10
10.10.10.15
In this case how can we make the RZ12 settings and SM59 settings such that we don't have to hardcode any IP Address.
If the request is redirected to 10.10.10.11 and not to 10.10.10.10 , in that case how will the settings be.

How to load data in the cube

dear all,
I need some help: I'm new to OWB and I'm trying to load a cube with dimensions keys data. I have successfully deployed the cube and dimensions without any problems. Now when I deploy the mapping to load the cube I cannot get any data there...
- I have tried mapping by using dimension operator and cube operator by mapping dimension business keys with keys in the cube...and still no data...
-I have also tried joining all the dimensions with the joint operator and joint condition with the cube as input and have the output to the cube...but still no data. I have also disable the constraints on the cube for the purpose of loading the data, but without much success. What am I doing wrong?
Any help and guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

It sounds like you are not getting any matching keys for loading into the cube.
Do you have a time dimension created by OWB in the cube? The key used by the cube operator for an OWB time dimension is a formatted number. The time dimension keys are stored as follows;
Day Level - YYYYMMDD
Month Level - YYYYMM
Week Level - YYYYWW
Quarter - YYYYQ
Year - YYYY
If you have a source that has a SQL date datatype for example and want to construct the key for a cube's time dimension at the day level something like the following expression can be used to construct the time reference from a SQL date...
to_number(to_char( time_key, 'YYYYMMDD'))
It may not be this but just a thought.

for integration purpose, how can you go and check data in the cube and validate it against the query data ? i know we can go to corresponded infocube and right click "display data" but what's on the query is not available when i execute "display data"

You can always use the similar set of Restrictions as used in RKF and get the value very close to what RKF is displaying.
But getting the same values in CKF is a bit tough..I can suggest may be you can take few/1-2 examples and do the calculations manually and compare the query result and Infocube data.

Hi,
Let us take std cube 0SD_C03 where we store billing info,sales order info and delivery info. But still in reporting we can get values without any mismatch in their respective KF. It is possible because of a cahracterstic called Documnet category which gets values in update rule by constant .
Similarly we can have 2 types of data (plan and actual) in a single cube by having different value for a characterstic. Most frequently used characterstics for this are 0VERSION and Value type.

Formatting for cubes and dimensions

Is it possible to use different formatting on the cubes and dimensions in the subject area in OBIEE? We're on 11.1.1.6.2. Our report writers want to easily be able to differentiate between the 2. Can we make the cubes bold or use a different font or text/background color than the dimensions?
