You're correct when it comes to exporting TO iPad but OP wants to use the accessory without an iPad, which is impossible.

Is the screen-rotation lock on? If it is then there is a padlock shown in the upper right by the battery icon. To turn off double click the Home button and fully swipe the bottom row fully right past the music controls and tap the padlock.

Great question. The line access fees for the account are a set amount and can not be changed unless you are going from a basic to a smartphone or vice versa. If you are wondering about adding the month to month discount if you are out of contract Ann154 has provided great information on how to access and add the feature.

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

We have both a Iphone 4s and a 4th Generation Ipod Touch both with the latest available IOS software on them. @pdroth. Displayed name as in when you sign up for a apple id you sign up with email and a screen name(this is your display name). If you are using any apple device as like you do with an android device you have to sign in with either your google acct for android or apple id for a apple product. If one apple product is utilizing that apple id already aka Iphone and you can't set up a account for your child because of his or her age because of age restrictions, both devices will use the same info. So for instance when using things like facetime instead of seeing jane doe calling jane doe(basically making it show name of other person using your account instead of seeing your own name) can you make on jane doe and one john doe using the same apple id just different outgoing display name. Hopefully this helps.

My old email was deleted and I used this as my Apple ID. I now have a new one and can't change my Apple ID on my phone and iPad, (Under 'icloud' in settings). However I have been able to change it in iTunes & App Store.
I also tried deleting the account and re doing it in my new one but it asks for the password due to find iPhone being on, and it won't do it. (I remember my old password)

1) Did you change that old email address to your current email address to be your current Apple ID? If so, try to enter your current password for your current Apple ID/iCloud account. If it doesn't work, try #2.
2) If you don't have access to your old email account. Same process, go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in your current iCloud/Apple ID then edit it to your old email address then Save the changes. DON'T sign out yet. Go back to your iOS device then delete your iCloud account. Once deleted, go back to the Apple ID website and rename it back to your current email address. You have to verify it this time and you will be able to since you have access to that email address.
3) If your answer to #1 is NO, contact Apple Support (Account Security Team) to help you reset its password but you need to have another email address available which is not yet an Apple ID to send the password reset email.

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)

Can you change your library back after reverting to 6.5 from 7

I was "forced" to upgrade to itunes 7 with a "new" purchase. All of my songs are garbled/distorted. I use a custom built PC for "recording only", and am finding this annoying especially since my UAD soundcards for
Nuendo work best with Quicktime (6.5) not QT 7 that you "have" to have to run the new itunes. So I downloaded the older "green" version and unistalled the "blue" 7 version. Looks great...though my library is still "blue" and cannot be played or recognized by my old "working" version. This is the error I get: The title "itunes Library .itl" cannot be read because it was vreated by a newer version of itunes.

There never were any xml files in the Previous iTunes Libraries folder, only the itl file is needed.

If you can't find a back up .itl file in the Previous iTunes Libraries folder don't worry there is another way.
So if you are giving up on the old v6 library, assuming you already copied the two library files to another folder, delete iTunes Liibrary.itl, then open iTunes.
iTunes should open and create an empty library, before you do anything else with your library, select Add Folder To Library and navigate to the folder where you saved iTunes Music Library.xml and import it.
This Apple article describes the process, but of course, you may not have save the xml file on the desk top.

I hope that this will work across iTunes versions as the xml file is intended for use by other programs, but I haven't seen anyone do this going back from 7 to 6.
